I've lived here for 8 years now full time and when I have anything needing medical attention I go here. It's usually quick and they take care of me! I have seen them for infections and sickness and right now for a bee sting gone wrong. I recommend them 100%!! They are fair priced and listen and medicate. I recently recommended a visiting tourist from Sweden whose sick daughter couldn't have any fun or join activities. Sent me home with a broken back!! These are not medical professionals. Scary! Went in for extreme back pain, they took 2 views (thoracic x rays ) and told me nothing was wrong... I went to the emergency room days later because I couldn't walk and had to excruciating nerve pain. They repeated x rays and found immediately that I have a broken spine!!! Did the doctor at urgent care even look at my x rays???? What did I pay for? I will never go back here. The receptionists are all very rude as well and have no compassion. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they do not have one... I spoke to Stephanie their "medical scribe" asking questions about my medications and asking if I could leave a request for refill... she immediately tells me no because my medications are controlled substances... two of my medications are methocarbamol (robaxin) and naproxen 500mg (aleve) ... these are NOT controlled substances. Your facility could not even correctly tell me what medications they distributed to me. Still with no doctor call back, I finally called a day later to ask for my records. The receptionist Courtney was very rude and I expressed to her how I was disappointed at the fact that no one had returned my call. She told me "sorry we are too busy with covid" .... the last time I visited your facility when I asked for a covid test, you informed me you did not have any testing at this time. Now you are too busy for an existing patient because of covid? She also informed me that if I wanted to talk to the doctor I had to come back and pay another $120 for another exam! Waited 2 hours after being told it would be a 15 minute wait, just for them to lose my test samples, have me get more sick and then they asked me to come back. I came back because they promised no wait since it was their mistake... they told me it was a 30 minute wait. Both of the things they tested for were irrelevant and I just needed antibiotics to treat my tonsillitis but was given nothing. Told him I couldn't breath when I was sleeping.. nothing. Now I have a Peritonsillar Abscess which is "easily prevented because doctors use antibiotics to treat tonsillitis"... not my doctor I guess. read more

Went in for a painful cyst. I was able to get in same day I called. Helpful knowledgeable staff, friendly & skilled NPs. Follow up was a little less pleasant. Bored (or exasperated) nurse who seemed only interested in chiding my choice of wound dressing (it was a band-aid) and didn't mind inflicting pain as he jerked hair from out of the healing scab. But I do not want to have a need for urgent care because I love to be healthy and energetic! It does happen though, and I did have a need to visit Atlantis urgent care for a minor issue. Wow. They are outstanding. The check in process is convenient, and the attendants that cared for me were outstanding (Kenneth, and another gentleman nurse practitioner.) This facility is clean spacious and professional. I highly recommend this facility for those who need urgent care. This hospital is a complete joke. I came in with intense back and pelvic pain, so much so that I could barely walk and breathing was strained. I was already a registered patient and all my bills were paid in full and on time. I don't drive and thus ride a bicycle. Being in the pain I was in I strained myself further to ride the short distance from A1A Burger King to Atlantis urgent care only to be refused a medical examination for according to there records that I have a payment past due. The front staff checked their records and saw that there was no past due payment but that they had to abide by an apparent note on the account. I have military background but due to my age as no longer covered by tricare, thus I've paid all my bills out of pocket. I was unable to take the bicycle any further due to my pain after being told to go to the urgent care on Eau Gallie, I had no choice but to ask another patient in the lobby if they would give me a lift to the nearest urgent care but that I had to leave my only means of transportation behind. Blessing to the gentleman who left before he could be seen to take care to drive me a doctor who cares to help there patients. Definitely a recommendation to find a different doctor then the ones employed at Atlantis urgent care, because when it's urgent they don't care. read more

I have been to this clinic many times and have always been well taken care of but this last time was especially significant. Dr. Bjorn Dimberg identified that I had Covid early on and sent me to get Regeneron immediately and it made such a difference in the severity of the illness. I so appreciate his suggestion and early diagnosis (it was so early in my being exposed that the health department test was negative!). I had symptoms though and I had been exposed (I also had had the vaccine!). I have always been pleased with the care I have been given but this last time I felt especially well cared for! read more

The arrogance of the doctor that saw us, almost killed my 11yr old son. I took my son in for a physical and told the doctor about his random headaches and vomiting on October 17th. He said it was probably just the move to the area and starting a new school and that there is no physical reason for a healthy 11yr old boy to have those symptoms. Six weeks later the headache happened in school and luckily the school nurse took his vitals and called me to say that there was something wrong and we should see a different doctor. I took her advice and sought a 2nd opinion. The new doctor ordered a CT scan and found a BRAIN TUMOR the size of a baseball!!!! My son is now awaiting brain surgery and we are praying he makes it. This place almost killed my son by not listening to my concerns. He still might not make it, but I can't give up hope yet. I tried calling to talk with the doctor and I was told everyone is too busy and my son isn't worth a 5min conversation. I want them to take notice and listen and know the signs so that no other child goes through this again. read more

I'm giving two stars because I was seen last night and I'm still unable to get my prescription antibiotic. The pharmacy was closed last night even though I was told it was open. Then I called the pharmacy this morning and was told the Drs. Medical license on file was expired. They reached out at 9:30, still nothing at 12pm so I called Atlantis. Jessica the front receptionist answered, said it was sent over. I formed her it wasn't received. Clearly they don't maintain updated information with their pharmacies. This was a fantastic urgent care experience. The waiting room is very comfortable and stocked with free snacks and beverages. My son injured his wrist at basketball practice and our pediatrician's office sent us here for an x-ray. So much nicer and cheaper than going to an emergency room. They have all kinds of capabilities here, even MRI. The doctors and staff were very friendly and helpful. My son's wrist was fractured and they showed us the x-rays and bandaged him up with a splint. They gave us a CD with the x-rays when we left and recommended a follow up with an orthopedist to get a cast, which we did the next day. I have an eye infection and of course it was a Saturday and the ophthalmologist offices are closed ... I was concerned about it spreading and after talking to a neighbor who uses Atlantis on a regular basis decided to have them look at it. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and how nice everyone was. I was even more impressed with how thorough Cliff (the PA) was with the examination - I was expecting to hear "we don't handle this kind of thing - go see an eye doctor Monday" but he was very knowledgeable about eye infections and found it was an internal stye, and got me a prescription for antibiotic eye cream to address it. Everyone was very professional and courteous. I ready some reviews about excessive waits and such or impatient staff. I have to say that you have to understand that good care takes time and I'd rather wait a bit longer and be well cared for than have the staff rush through just to get to people in a shorter time-frame. If you go in anywhere - be patient with the people helping you, and be nice - joke a little even if you can - they're in a medical office, no one goes in because they feel good so they have to deal with grumpy cranky testy or just down people all day. Cut them a little slack. Did I wait longer than I thought I was going to - sure - but it was ok because i feel I got great care.I'll take that tradeoff any day. read more

I came to urgent care with a terrible flu. I needed somewhere to go where I wouldn't have to play a fortune to be seen! I came to Atlantis and my experience was 10/10 amazing! The front desk staff was so nice, the waiting room was clean and there were complimentary snacks and drinks. Even though the waiting room was full it did not take long at all to be seen. Kenny was a terrific nurse, he was so kind to me and did everything he could to help and PA Kim was also extremely generous and helpful. The staff here are not honest. They will tell you one thing at one time and another later. I called to ask if they would do an urgent appointment 6 days after my child was sent home from school with zero symptoms of COVID because he complained of a sore throat to get out of the "boring video" he was watching before Thanksgiving break. (Typical kid stuff) They relayed they could not guarantee he could be cleared but that I could bring him in for an evaluation. They explained the COVID test they have is not accepted by the school. I don't want a Covid test, just an eval clearing him to go back to school since he has had zero symptoms. I drove to the location to let them know I was there per their protocol and then was told I did not understand their information and my child could not be seen. They stated they told me that in the previous phone call. When I questioned why I would leave my home to come to an appointment the staff member basically called me a liar. I told her that she was not being intellectually honest and she hung up on me. Their customer service is subpar and they do not relay accurate information. In the past they have been a run of the mill urgent care which we have frequented. Come in get your eval and leave. But today, due to their incompetence, they've lost my business completely. Honesty and respect are important as providers and their lack of both is distasteful. I will gladly drive OTB to find better customer service. No wonder the sign on their front desk says "we will not tolerate disrespectful customers"..... seems the common denominator is them! read more

It's easy to pre register online. You can call for the est wait time and they will call you when you should come in so you can wait at home. They have little snacks and drinks which is nice. My baby had a fever and after the visit was asked to go to the ER due to being a newborn to get a work up. The clinic called the ER to give them a heads up and took the time to explain what to expect so I wasn't surprised. They even called the next day to check on her. So far it's 40 minutes past my appointment time and I still haven't been seen. When I went to ask the nurses station if I was forgotten about, three medical technicians were just standing around and stated the doctor was just helping someone up on the table. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Went in while staying at our condo. The condo manager recommended them. My nurse Amanda was excellent and the PA was very thorough. They gave me quick relief from my aching back. What was completely shocking was that not all employees were wearing masks. That should be required in any health facility during COVID. It is a clean, nice waiting area. The front staff wasn't the nicest or welcoming, could take cues from the back staff, but it was a Sunday. The doctor was nice and seemed intelligent. One word to describe it - EXPENSIVE. We have insurance and still had to pay quite a bit. As it turned out, we needed to be seen the next day, and if we did, it would have been the same price for a follow-up. Went to a different facility inland, and was seen for a 1/3 of the price. Would I return? Possibly, if an emergency and couldn't make it inland, I did trust the Doctor's knowledge, but probably not. read more

Loved this Urgent Care!! Drove from Merritt Island because they took my son's insurance. Was needing urgent care for my 3 year old on a Sunday morning for an ear infection and wow, was I impressed! Very clean, they offered drinks and snacks in the waiting room, very quick to be seen and very efficient with diagnosis! This was not my first visit. I have been here about once a year. I was seen quickly, in less than 30 minutes, which is WAY better than seeing my GP at PAFB. It was a Saturday, so I could not visit my regular doctor. My foot was swollen and I could not walk on it at all. I was worried that something was broken, though I could not recall injuring it. I was x-rayed and diagnosed promptly. After a steroid shot and some medication, I was back to work on Monday. I am so glad that I did not wait until Monday to see my regular doctor. The staff called me the next day to check up on me. That is something that would have never happened with my regular doctor. If my insurance would allow it, I would go to Atlantis care all the time! read more

Took my 3 year old grandson, who was visiting from out of town, in on a Saturday morning for an allergic reaction/covered in hives. Prior to the visit, my daughter was given a backwards email to send them his insurance info. The girls at the front desk spoke to the entire waiting room when advising me that they didn't receive his info. When they realized their error, they laughed in my face and asked me to send it again. Then one of them advised me and the waiting room that his insurance wasn't valid without talking to the insurance company. I cut them off and paid the $119. Their incompetence also cost us a 40 min wait behind adults who checked in after us. My daughter followed up with them on Monday morning to complain to the "Office Manager" and requested that they honor their contractual agreement with the insurance company and take the responsibility to file a claim. They advised her that they immediately reversed the charge on my bank card without asking for the card info. 10 days later, I called to inquire about my missing refund and was advised that it could take 2 weeks. I called back today, 3 weeks later, and received the same flippant, uncaring, unprofessional and completely discourteous attitude from the front desk. When I advised them that I would be disputing the charge with my bank and a complaint would be filed by my daughter with the insurance company, I was laughed at and HUNG UP on before rendering my name and telephone number. When I called back, of course they couldn't tell me who Erica would be calling back with no name and phone number. My grandson now has an epi pen. I would NOT recommend taking a small child to this facility where they are subjected to long waits, HIPPA violations and outright rudeness from immature individuals who appear to have NO understanding of the concept of "urgent care". read more
