Normally I go to the Quest in Red Bluff, but I was staying overnight here in Redding and had to fast for my 7:10 appointment. So, Redding location was better. One thing you gotta do is make an appointment. You can do it online. It makes your visit way easier, like making an appointment at the DMV! Check in is easy and fast too with an appointment, just enter your phone number into the tablet at check in and WHAM! you're all checked in. The tech will call you in and take your blood. I have no prob, in and out! The results are usually available the next day online. read more

I get blood tests. This Quest is convenient for me, and I like the online portal, but I have to put up the high probability that my appointment will need to be rescheduled. If you use this location I recommend scheduling two or even thee appointments over as many consecutive days. This way when they screw up your order or expect to make you wait too long you have a fall back option. Quest corporate makes it difficult for the technicians to trouble shoot things. So if there's a problem with a code expect to reschedule. read more

My experience with Quest was simple and fast. I checked in and a few minutes later was called back to get my blood drawn. Debbie was so sweet and cheerful and made my blood draw seamless. I favor this lab over the one I usually go too. I just may make a permanent switch. read more

I don't know why so many other people who took the time to leave a review left one about a bad experience here, but my visit was comparable to or better than Labcorp. Check-in at the self-serve kiosk is essentially the same (I posted a pic of the kiosk) and the wait for me as a walk-in was minimal, maybe 3-5 minutes. Lobby was clean, and phlebotomist was skilled, asking which arm had the best results with prior blood draws, and painlessly getting the needle in and blood drawn. FYI, it's not required, but if you bring your doctor's order printed out, it will remove any chances for errors with what tests they run or getting the results delivered. The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars rather than 5 is Quest as a company can't be bothered to update their website and phone staff to reflect that the Cypress Ave location no longer exists and I wasted more than 20 minutes driving around trying to find it. So that lame lack of respect for customer's time loses the company a star off the review for this location. read more

There employees here are ABSOLUTELY RUDE!!! My daughter went in for a drug test for her new job she is so excited for and these idiots tell her after she went to the restroom they might not be able to submit it cause she washed her hands!! What places tell people they can't wash their hands after using a PUBLIC RESTROOM??!!! HOW DISGUSTING!!! She didn't use soap like the lady said but to not be able to wash her hands at all is very HAZARDOUS!!! So many people use this place and are being told not to wash their hands after using the restroom!! I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!!! read more

This facility is poorly administrated. The times don't match the wait time at all. A few people had 8 minutes wait time when they showed up but it ended up being 1 hour. Even longer. I had an appt for 10am. They let in a 10:15 appt before me. I only had a quick lab appt. The receptionist at the front desk didn't like that I was waiting at her desk and waited 7 minutes before she checked me in. She could have checked me in right when she knew I had a 10 am appt. Instead of checking me in she ran to the back rooms and then someone else took over. But she could have checked me in before the shift change. They also kept my drivers license. Why? No other lab keeps my driver's license. She wants to check my face against the ID but she doesn't say to take down the mask. So I'm waiting for this "lab tech" to get on with it. She has to keep my ID for some reason. She already verified my face etc. The bathroom was all taped up and my purse needed to go into a lock box. This is all justified security in our times we have, but why not give a quick explanation as we are walking into the bathroom together. And that was UNCOMFORTABLE if you do not know what's going on. By this time I'm wondering where my ID is. Someone could have grabbed it off her open desk. All that is over and I get my purse back. Ladies - don't bring a purse here larger than 12". Then she gets me back to the desk to sign out. Since I'm now late for work and it's nearing 10:30 I try not to act too hurried. But she weirdly puts my ID on a piece of paper to hand it back to me. But she has gloves on. Put ID on counter. Better - give me myDL before lab work. OK. Some little things I get it, but the accumulation of so many little things ended up being a big thing. Management take notice. Everyone there was complaining. This place needs a complete overhaul. Go to LabCorps. A great company and they get you in and out! read more

Trying to make an appointment but they won't let me make one over the phone anymore. WTF? Not everyone has computers or is able to use one. I guess they don't want to serve those on a fixed income, like seniors or disabled. So even though I'm immuno-compromised & can only sit up in my wheelchair for a limited time (due to pressure sores), I'll have to go as a walk-in and risk my life for a blood test, all so I can continue getting the medication I need for treatment of a brain tumor. Thanks, Quest, for being so concerned about the lives of your clients. I'm thinking about contacting an ADA lawyer, since they're not giving the disabled reasonable accommodations for their disabilities. Not allowing phone appointments is discriminatory. read more

I scheduled an appointment a few days in advance and showed up a couple minutes early to check in on the tablets at the front. My appointment was at 4:30pm, was seen before 4:35, and I was out of the office by 4:45. Deirdre was my phlebotomist and she was so great. I have really bad social anxiety and have a hard time doing things that require socializing but she made it so comfortable and she was so fun and kind throughout the whole thing. Id definitely recommend this location and scheduling appointments in advance. I'm not sure how other days or times are but the location was empty when I was there at 4:30 so do with that what you will. read more

They close at 5 and we arrived at 4:30. There is a kiosk to sign in and no one was at the desk. The kiosk said that no one appointments were available. There was someone who made an appearance but then quickly disappeared. No clue what the deal is because no one helped! read more

I'm giving it a 5 star because the phlebotomist didn't cause me any pain. I waaay like this location better than the one on Cypress- the staff at Cypress snotty. Not so at the Airpark location. Also, the location on Airpark is pretty. I don't care for the self-check-in method that Quest is using now, found at both Quest locations I've been to on Airpark and on Cypress. I would rather check in with humans. Plus I hate touching germy things in dr offices. I don't care how often you clean it, its disgusting. read more

Went to quest for a blood draw and they lost my results. Then they wanted me to make another appointment for another blood draw. Decided to go to LabCorp on Cypress and it was in and out, zip bang, all done and my Dr got the results back the same day. No appointment necessary. Bye bye Quest, you're history. I'm a hard stick so I asked the man doing my blood draw to use a butterfly in my hand, which is the only way to get blood out of me. He didn't listen and instead used a regular needle and dug around in my arm. He stuck me I believe twice and then said that according to policy, he couldn't try anymore. He sent in a young woman who listened and got blood. She said I was lucky it worked because, according to said policy, she could only try once. If you know you're a hard stick, demand what you need. You may have to be forceful, but it's better than letting them blow their 3 chances and fasting / wasting more time again. read more

My wife has such a pleasant experience here. She has multiple blood tests with them on a monthly bases. The woman who helped her last was so kind and friendly. She am always so calm because of the staff here. One of the best experiences I have is knowing she is well taken care of while getting her blood drawn. by far this is one of the best places right here. read more

Finally received results of lab done on January 8, 2019. It took 23 calendar days, not an expedient timely response in my view, though just under the HIPPA guidelines. During my wait for the results, I was anxious due to the fact that I was never sent the results of my prior lab and suspected the same thing would happen again. I have to laugh at the Quest Diagnostics response suggesting I get in touch with their patient advocate, I laugh because I tried to do so even without their suggestion after trying other avenues to communicate with no response, and would you believe three days later, no response from that department. Bottom line, a poorly run organization without open communication and virtually a closed door to patients they serve. In my many years of experience with doctors, specialists, imaging centers, etc. I have never waited over three weeks for results. In fact when I look back, and as I compare Quest in the way they conduct themselves, the difference is dramatic. Any request I have ever submitted for a health record or result has been acted on almost immediately, even getting a CD of a procedure. Quest Diagnostics is unprofessional in their conduct and possibly archaic in their procedures concerning their responsiveness to patients. I will still point out that the lab techs at this site do an excellent job and they are not responsible for the conduct of their employer. read more

Arrived at 6:58 a.m. this Saturday morning for a blood draw; three others were ahead of me in line. The two employees arrived and went promptly to work. The office was clean and inviting, the check-in process quick and efficient. The tech was gentle and professional, so much so I didn't even feel 'a little pinch.' I was out the door and on to start my day. Definitely recommend and will return in the future for any required lab draw. read more

The at the front desk lady was rude!! She almost turned me away... I have a ppo and these he are participating with my insurance and she was so rude and demanded payment right then and there.. I ask if they could bill me explaining I didn't have the funds right away.. she said I quesss but it's not our fault you don't have your financial is not straight.. I had such a pleasant experience there. I had to have multiple blood tests and I get anxiety attacks with them sometimes, but the woman who helped me was so kind and calming. She got me a heat pack to warm up my arm and talked to me to get my mind elsewhere. She even had me laughing. It was a miracle, I was so calm!
