The touch screens for check-in are difficult to operate. At least 50% of the people checking in had problems. There was no one at Quest to assist and luckily there was a guy (who was waiting for his appt) who was helping people. There weren't enough chairs in the small waiting room and I felt like it would be a miracle if I didn't catch Covid or flu. read more

Went here to get bloodwork for my yearly physical. The process was way better than I anticipated based on the ratings. All the one-star reviews seem to be from people who never made appointments and had to wait while all the people who made appointments were serviced. If you actually spend 5 minutes to set an appointment online, they see you within 15 minutes, everyone is professional and you are in and out fast. If you expect a spa-like experience and white-glove service, you're not going to find it anywhere in St. Louis at a similar facility. read more

They have their own parking lot by the entrance, just follow the signs. I had an appointment, but wasn't on time, had to wait 10-15 min more, not bad. It was packed on a thursday afternoon and the room smelled like mj so bad. The nurse was polite and helpful. But after I finished with my samples, she grabbed the cups, touched everything, door handles, keyboard, pens.. O_O.. and I didn't see her changing her gloves! read more

*Entrance to parking is on West Pine, not kingshighway. I scheduled an appointment online and arrived a little early. I was taken back before my appointment time. There was an issue with the labs my doctor sent, and the system would not allow the phlebotomist to proceed. She tried to call my doctor, but my doctor was not available. Instead of sending me home, she made a new profile for me and entered all of the test by hand (and there were a lot!) so that I could get my tests done today. Definitely appreciate the phlebotomist, Lisa, going above and beyond to help me. read more

I made a yelp account just to give this place one star. I waited over two hours just to not be seen at all. The monitor showing the queue is broken. Absolutely awful and inefficient. If you can go anywhere else, do yourself a favor and do so. read more

The waiting room smells like weed. I came here to do a urine sample and when I walked back to the room I was in, there was already another patient in there. They told me to leave it on the counter while there was some random guy in there. Super freaking awkward. I had an appointment, they were about 10 minutes late getting me in. read more

I don't understand why I was required to schedule an appointment if there was still a 45 minute wait. Please be more considerate of customers time. I scheduled this appointment 2 weeks ago and arrived 12 minutes early just to wait 45 minutes past my scheduled time slot. I am very displeased and disappointed with the attitudes and lack of care from the staff. They treated me as if they were doing me a favor and not doing their job. I also witnessed the staff (3 women) congregating in the hallway for well over 10 minutes, laughing and playing amongst each other while a lobby full awaited. I drove around for 15 minutes and missed my appointment because everywhere I tried to park was either restricted or full. I literally never made it in the door. It's Quest in the City. Whaddya expect? The address is Kingshighway, but it's located in the back of the apartment building that faces Kingshighway, off Pine St. There are a few dedicated free parking spaces in the back. I parked on the street and paid the meter, not knowing. When you walk in, sign in on the touchpad. The waiting room has a ton of people and the TV screen has each name and your estimated wait time. Some people were even calling out answers for the game show on TV. Out of 12 people, I was the only one with an appointment and the smallest wait time. I'd suggest making an appointment. People that got there before me had 30 min wait times. I waited about 10. I'm a drug test pro and they usually go quickly, unless there's intense scrutiny of your urine volume. Or in my case they didn't recognize any of the paperwork, probably because it's some special federal government security clearance variety and the collector seemed to not know how to process a drug screen. I sat for 15 min while they played computer confusion. Be sure to drink up on the high quality H2O to get your pee good. read more

The staff here is so sweet and helpful. The RN I worked with made me feel so relaxed after I mentioned being nervous about my bloodwork. The only thing is the address is wrong, it's accessed from W Pine, not Kingshighway. You could tell the poor guy at 40 Khwy had to repeat the directions all the time. read more

At the behest of my physician I came to this Quest location to get some blood work complete.. as mentioned in a previous review- this Quest location is not easily identifiable, so please be aware of this fact; right off of Kingshighway on Pine Street. In addition, the parking is limited. I was fortunate enough to make an appointment and come in early. I would suggest both! If you are walking in - it's a must that you come right when they open at 7:30 AM, unless you like waiting. As this location got crowded quickly. Now to the process! The staff was great; quick, easy and painless (for the most part) lol.. there was a little mishap with the proper paper work being sent over from the physicians office, but the staff here was patient as we got that squared away. Customer service - regardless of the industry you as a consumer are interacting with, customer service (a foreign concept to some) goes a long way, I bring it back full circle to the staff as they were friendly and professional which allowed me to give this rating. Finding the location - they door is not in fact on N Kingshighway so to access you'll want to turn onto W Pine; directly to your right you will see the black awnings and a sign on the very corner of the building for the lab. The door itself is accessed by walking into the parking lot. There are very few on street parking spots available. There is a parking garage directly across at the One Hundred building but again the signage isn't great (it's to the right of the Pilates Lab) and unless you're familiar you probably won't even realize it's a parking garage until you're forced to turn around a few times. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I have to get a drug test for my job and I only have three days to get it done. This location only takes appointments and refuses to see walk ins despite having multiple signs saying they take walk ins. The lady who kept coming out to the lobby was very rude and unhelpful. The big screen in the lobby that says how many appointments are scheduled and how many people are being seen only shows 2 people being seen and 5 appointments for the day at 10:30am but they claim they are full. A urine test takes only a few minutes to complete but they refuse to even try to fit anyone in for testing. Either they are extremely lazy or they are slacking off in the back so they don't have to work as much. If your employer requires this location for testing tell your employer that they need to make the appointment for you or you will lose your job because this company doesn't care about you at all! read more

I was a little concerned beforehand but it turned out to be almost perfect. The staff was fantastic they were even able to quickly rectify an error in the orders made by my doctor. I have to deduct a star over the available parking. The designated deck across the street is not "visitor friendly." IMO you'll be better off looking for street parking even if you have to walk a block or so. read more

Extremely slow and I can't stress that enough. Save yourself the time and heartache and discuss with your insurance provider an alternative lab that's in network. The location is dirty and not well ventilated. Expect to wait for over 50 minutes when only 5 people are ahead of you. Don't worry, I called the number while I was waiting and it was not helpful as no one answered. I doubt the email would be helpful. Why don't you call the actual center and determine the cause of the long wait time. I even came earlier and sat for 45 minutes that time only to be turned back since my provider sent the labs to another place. So one day with two long wait times. Unacceptable. read more

I don't usually review on Yelp but I think it may be helpful for others to know that the appointment system was useless for me at this location, I'm not sure it's even worth making one. I made an appointment for 8:45am for a blood test for our 1 year old. We showed up on time and checked in at the kiosk which told us the estimated wait would be 65 minutes but I could leave and they would text when they were ready for us. We live close by so I went home to wait (didn't want to hang out in a waiting room with a baby for over an hour). 90 minutes later I got the text to return so we returned. I checked in again 16 minutes after receiving the text and got a notice that because we were "10 minutes late" we had been changed to walk in status with a new estimated wait time of 49 minutes. Suddenly they're big on punctuality! I left, I'll try a different location. read more

Choose somewhere else to provide your sample. Dreadful service. My collector was incredibly rude and mumbles everything she says. I couldn't hear her when she told me not to flush after the urine sample. So I flush and next thing I know, I hear banging on the bathroom door and her screaming. She also made fun of me for going into the wrong room when I initially came in. I've never been in the building before prior to that moment. read more

Anyone considering going to this Quest, I would highly recommend talking your doctor about alternatives. I require lab work quite frequently (every other week, minimum). Every single time I've gone to this Quest, the wait time has been extremely long and the staff not very friendly. A few times, I've gone and waited just to be turned away altogether because the staff was confused about my standing order. No matter how many times my doctor sent the necessary order, there always seemed to be something they "couldn't accept." Then, they couldn't even explain coherently to me what the problem was, and acted like I was dumb or something. I know they're probably trying their best in the middle of a pandemic, but there have been times I've left there in tears of frustration after my time has been wasted. I have since found a better Quest a little farther away from me, but they are honestly not much better. I can't go there on a weekday because of the insane wait times. I'd go anywhere else if I could. read more
