Closing early may seem minor, but for patients coordinating medical appointments around overnight healthcare work schedules, it can have a significant impact. I rearranged my recovery sleep and spent time and gas driving to the location specifically because the posted hours indicated I would still be able to be seen. If a location plans to stop accepting patients before the official closing time, I think it's only reasonable that it be clearly communicated online and on-site so patients can plan appropriately. Otherwise, the posted closing time is misleading. I understand we all are eager to get home after a long day, but ultimately we have a duty to follow through with what we tell our patients they can expect from us.
