Care was fine; but billing department seems to not understand medical coding when it comes to genetic disorders and coding it correctly.

10/10 service, I was initially confused of the process but Ricardo there was able to guide me…read morethrough and even went as far as to help me on the technical side of things online. He was very professional and honestly made me feel at ease.

There's no way to call and talk to a real person, so if you have any questions you'll be outta luck…read more(heck when I walked into the office there wasn't even anyone at the front desk). To schedule an appointment you have to either call or do it online. I tried calling first to schedule through their automated messaging system, but it was a frustrating failure. The bot kept cutting me AND ITSELF off, so I just gave up and went online. But their online appointment system isn't the most user friendly experience either, so if navigating tech isn't your thing, you may have similar frustrations here. That being said, I had no choice but to get my labs done here. If you're in the same situation I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend making an appointment rather than doing a walk-in. I made an appointment and wasn't seen until an hour later, so I'd expect even longer wait times without an appointment. They have a TV monitor in the waiting room that displays how long you can expect to wait... all I can say is... don't trust it. When I was finally called in the staff was kind, which is the only reason I'm not giving this a 1 star review... but man... Quest is really cutting corners when it comes to other areas of customer service.

ATTENTION: If you ever receive a Vaccine Injury from Kaiser, make an appointment immediately, then…read morewithin 50 days reach out to a Federal Attorney that specializes in SIRVA injuries. Kaiser will do everything like in my case to delay the situation until it is too late. They also didn't document my initial complaint and office visit when my stiches were removed. Because of this, I am not eligible for a federal vaccine program that they should have recommended to me instead of putting me off and not fulfilling the record of my initial complaint. They also promised to pay for an X-Ray and office visit which I am now being billed for. This is borderline malpractice. The worst care I have ever received. I came in to have my toes stitched up after an injury. They said I needed a hand surgeon to repair my injury and sent me off to the Emergency Room. Unfortunately, before I left, they gave me a Tetanus shot. It seemed like it was the first time the person had ever administered a vaccine because the other 2 caregivers in the room cheered weirdly. The shot was injected too high on the arm causing a SERVA injury (Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration). Even though my toes have healed and I didn't need a "hand surgeon," 7 months later I still have the shoulder injury. Kaiser Permanente doesn't seem to care. I have basically been ignored. My first complaint was taken from someone I could barely understand in Manila, Philippines. Kaiser promised to investigate and get back in contact with me in 30 days. This did not happen. I have made 3 calls to Jennifer the facility manager and she has not returned my calls. I contacted the Department of Health only to find out you can't make a complaint to them because for some reason they don't have jurisdiction over this facility. My paper work from the incident doesn't show which physician or physician assistant was present nor which staff member administered the injection which injured me. Was hoping to have this addressed quickly so that others aren't injured or have a similar problem. If you need care, I would steer clear from this location because from my experience they don't seem very well trained, professional or caring.

They have genuinely never helped me with anything. The only way I've ever been helped was if I tell…read morethem what I have and then they will check for it and confirm. Other than that they will always tell you you're fine and are very rude when you ask questions of any sort. They do not want to hear your questions and will always rush through your time with them. My biggest problem was I asked them to do a POTS test on me(postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), and they did and confirmed I probably had it. So I called and asked for a note to give to my work because I tend to faint a lot or need to sit down briefly to avoid fainting, and wanted to let them be aware of my confirmed issue. They were very rude and told me they would put in a request from the doctor, but never did. I didn't even bother to call again because they are always rude over the phone.

If you are suffering from mental illness, I highly suggest you find somewhere OTHER than Rockwood…read moreBehavioral Health Center to help. While I have had positive experiences at other Rockwood clinics, this was a big bad exception. After each appointment here, I left feeling worse than when I arrived. If I could rate this place a 0/5, that would be more accurate. I worked with Cass Ragan, M.D., CPE and Karen Mega, LICSW. I'm not sure if they've changed their policies or not since my experience with them, but they apparently had a 6-month limit for care that they neglected to mention when I began services (not that I would have stuck around that long anyway). Communication between staff was lacking. For example, Dr Ragan would say he needed to talk with Karen before he could make a decision, but when I would check in at my next appt, they hadn't talked. We called to let them know I would be a few minutes late to one appt for a legitimate reason, and somehow the msg was incorrectly communicated that I wasn't coming. Karen was irritated at the seeming inconvenience when I arrived. Dr Ragan would use the same phrases appt after appt, like explaining that the brain is lipophilic. I already knew that from school, and I cringed each time he wasted time on such irrelevant repeats. Due to lack of follow-through from appt to appt, I can't think of anything positive that was accomplished. He would present a plan at one appt, then go on a totally different path the next appt. When I brought up the previous plan, he would dismiss it, seem confused, etc. During a health emergency, we had to contact the on-call doctor after hours, and it was Dr. Ragan. Not good. Instead of caring and helping, he complained about how his family time was being interrupted, inappropriately yelled, etc. When I had to miss appts due to a medical hospitalization, I was later yelled at and reprimanded for an entire session, primarily by Dr Ragan. When I write "yelled," I mean the person giving me a ride later reported she could hear him in the waiting room through 2 closed doors, and she said a little boy in the waiting room was also able to hear and identify the voice. He seems very self-centered, and I felt creeped out by him several times. I suggest you and your children stay far away from him and find a different psychiatrist. Karen Mega seemed to be short on ideas and lack flexibility. When I let her know I had already done art therapy projects she presented (that may have been more suited for a younger client anyway), she had me go ahead and do them anyway. The main things I took away from our talks were irrelevant details about her dog. She lacked the empathy, listening skills, and wisdom I have witnessed in other healthcare professionals. Again, I suggest you do yourself or your children a favor and look elsewhere for a therapist. While Rockwood as a whole has good features, their Behavioral Health Center does not.
