If I could, put zero, I would all I was doing was dropping off urine for my grandkids, the lady works here don't even understand English telling me I have to sign in and wait why do I have to wait to drop some thing off and wait time is 60 minutes. And the other lady that works inside I guess she is a receptionist or whatever she had a really nasty attitude. I don't know why it's so hard to be nice to people. Everyone has an attitude if you don't like your job, then you should find another one. It's ridiculous. read more

Sometimes you don't know 2 weeks ahead of time that you will need labs done. Went in as a walk-in, was told not to bother signing in, they wouldn't be able to take me. Next available appointment is next Wednesday afternoon. Not helpful. Called Quest, even less helpful. read more

Because the staff is limited, it can be a wait if you are a walk in. The convenient location between Staten Island Tech and Hylan Plaza makes it an easy find vis bus or car. They do have a private lot, but it fills up quick and the street parking is not as forgiving. read more

Talk about lazy and trying to rush to close. Walked in at 240pm as a walk in. Was able to sign in and wait a few minutes. Was even greeted by an associate. All for another associate to come out and tell her in front of me, can you tell them we're not taking any walk ins, we're closing. They close at 3:30pm & there was not any other patients waiting to be seen. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I came here for the convenience, but rather travel for better service. read more

I went into this location yesterday 2/17/20 and their were 3 people waiting. After 45 mins of waiting and no one was moving I asked Nicole (the person working there) how many more people were ahead of me. She told me to take a seat it was going to be awhile because appointments were coming in. Instead of Nicole helping people on the busy day she was doing everything in her power not to help patients. For example she gave a little old lady a hard time because the Dr address wasn't on the script. Another example there was a child with special needs and had to go to the bathroom and the other asian associate wouldn't give the mother a cup. I will never go to this location ever again. After waiting 1hr I left and went to the location on 1361 Hylan Blvd they were a pleasure to deal they were efficient and professional. read more

I called my local Quest Lab for 5 days to receive instructions prior to testing, but no one answered the phone. I tried to make an appointment on the automated telephone service. After completing the whole process, an announcement informed me due to technical difficulty I would have to call back. This happened twice. I had my test as a "walk-in". Luckily I did not presume that since my doctor did not call with results all was okay. When I called my doctor, I was informed that my test needed to be repeated because there was a "leak" with the original test and it had not been completed. I called customer service about this and the representative made an appointment for me at another Quest lab. I received a confirmation of the appointment, yet when I arrived for the appointment I was told they had no appointment for me. After showing the confirmation and informing the technician that I was waiting for a Quest supervisor to call me, the second test was administered. The supervisor did call and basically apologized and said she would pass the information on. I would also like to add that in both labs, I was in a room where the prior patients' blood work was sitting in a basket on a counter. I would expect that a lab specimen would be placed in a more secure location. read more

I have been coming to this location for about 15 years. Very frequent staff changes. If you have an appointment you are seen fairly close to that time. They would get more stars if they changed two things. 1: they now have a computerized sign in and a lot of people ahead of me and behind me were having a lot of problems using it. I mentioned this to the phlebotomist who shrugged and said if they just put in their confirmation number it would be easier. I had no issue signing in but even I didn't see that putting in a confirmation number would be easier.There were people ahead of me who kept inputting the information wrong and had to start all over again. One finally succeeded and then signed in again. I spent 20 minutes on line for two people to sign in. There should be a very obvious notice at the desk indicating this information. 2: have doors to the rooms. I really didn't want an elderly gentleman come into the room as the phlebotomist is inserting the needle interrupt to get his coat and ask where to leave his urine sample. They are understaffed, overworked and because of the interruption the phlebotomist had to try again to insert the needle which has never been an issue. read more
