I like this location ALOT better than most of their office in the area. It's so close to my home and staff is friendly and quick. I love their check in system but even with my appointment, I wait another 20-30 mins after to be seen. They take good care of you and do not rush you. If you have questions , the my answer them immediately. It's also great that their online portal sends you your results within 24-48 hours most times. read more

I visited Quest Diagnostics twice. Once to pick up a sample kit and the second, to drop off the sample. Before I went in, I tried calling the facility to understand the process but the automated machine kept hanging up on me. So, I did a walk-in appointment. Sign in is easy and it took about 15min to be seen. The woman giving me my testing kit didn't give me much direction -- the whole interaction was very minimal. When I went to drop-off my sample, I made an appointment and was seen within 10min. Again, there was very minimal interaction and the lab technician had no idea how I would recieve my results. I trusted the process and with 24hrs, I had my results in my health portal and insurance seemed to have covered it. All-in-all, I would say that the technology and communication there could be vastly improved to alleviate stress. However, i am please with how quickly I recieved my results. read more

Came to this Quest location while on vacation for a pre-employment urine test. I have always made appointments as a precaution unless coming first thing in the morning. My appointment was schedule for 3pm and they close at 330pm. Extremely frustrating as 3 people who arrived well after me have now all been seen before me, which there is no way possible that they could've have a 3pm appt as they all arrived 310pm and after. The staff here are extremely friendly, however they are severely understaffed. I sat for 20 minutes past my appointment time, not sure if being understaffed and running behind on patients was the problem or what. Very disappointing as every other Quest location I've gone will have you checked in and done prior to your appointment time. Additionally you can hear the staffing laughing and joking around from the waiting room so it makes you wonder why they move so slowly. read more

My apointment was at 11am, I show up at 10:50 am, I runned really quick to my car to grab the papers I forgot, they called me, then I went inside to let them know I was there, then I go back to waiting room and they called another person, I clarified I was next, and the lady didn't care, she called the other person and told me to wait again to be called, I was supposed to be next. read more

my appointment was at 10:50, I was told by the check in machine, (yes not person) that I could go outside and wait so I did as its cold in here and I'm fasting for bloodwork. Went to get some testing done and actually had a very pleasant experience. Recommend getting to your appointment time about 10-15 minutes ahead so you can check in at the kiosk. BRING YOUR ID AND INSURANCE, there isn't a person to check you in, it's a kiosk with a camera. What I really liked was, for my testing I had to wait around for an hour due to the nature of my test and they gave me the option of waiting in the lobby or waiting in a private waiting room. I chose the private room which was dark, quiet and had comfier chairs. The ladies who helped me we are really kind and I felt genuinely cared for and not forgotten at all. read more

This location is so close to our house but we stopped going here years ago due to unsatisfactory experiences. I needed to make a blood work appointment recently and had limited time availability. I took a chance since they had a time that would work with my schedule. The office had been renovated since my last visit, very clean, spacious, they called me before I could even sit down. My veins usually do not cooperate /are very problematic when nurses attempt to find a vein but Millie had no problem. She was nice and so efficient! read more

I had an appointment yesterday for some routine labs but had to reschedule. Unfortunately the system was down so I would only be able to take some of my tests. One of the staff was nice enough to inform me that I could just do a walk-in the next day because they were open at 6:30am! And that worked perfectly since I had work that same day. After checking in immediately the next day as instructed I was seen promptly and met with a wonderful practitioner named Keesha. She was able to check my forms in for my tests within 5 minutes which helped the process go rather smoothly. They only had the one bathroom for patients which was a little inconvenient. But it was also understandable since it's such a small clinic. They have television in the waiting area as well do you can see your place in line! read more

I walked in, in person, to the Aloma/Winter Park location with my paperwork (including orders for a blood draw and orders for a lactose tolerance test). I was told--IN PERSON--that the Aloma location did not do the lactose tolerance test and that the location on Alafaya did. I was told to schedule my appointment online and select the Alafaya location for my lactose tolerance test. I did this, and successfully scheduled the appointment for 10/9/17. When I walked in with my paperwork to the Alafaya location, I was told that not only did the Alafaya location not do lactose tolerance testing, NO QUEST in the Orlando area did and I would have to go to Tampa or else try to schedule with Florida Hospital. The individuals working at the front desk at Quest in Alafaya did not know who to contact at Florida Hospital and could give me no other information about the lactose tolerance testing. I am deeply disappointed in the level of service I received with Quest in the past two weeks. I tried to be proactive and stop in IN PERSON to make sure I spoke to a human being about the testing I had been ordered. I then followed their instructions and made my appointment, including taking time off from work from the expected lactose tolerance test that would take 3-4 hours, and when I arrived to find out that Quest doesn't even do this test in the entire city, I was incredibly frustrated. This has wasted my time and money as I've taken off work and now have to take off again to complete the testing. By the way, I spoke with Florida Hospital and not only did they schedule me quickly but they gave me detailed information about what to do prior to the test and what to expect during the test--information I never received from the Quest Winter Park location on 2111 Glenwood Dr. Ste 102. Someone needs to tell the individuals at the front desk at that location that they are giving out inaccurate information. read more

My provider gave me one of those at-home stool tests. They told me to "drop it off" at Quest and made it sound easy. Not so. The attendant would not accept the test, which was all packaged up with the sample and DR's order. She made me check in at the kiosk as a walk-in. Just to turn in something for lab processing. I had an appointment and checked in at appointment time (the scanner wasn't working properly so I had to scan my driver's license). FIVE people came in after me and were taken ahead of me. They finally took me when I was the only person left in the waiting room. When I told the technician taking my blood--almost jokingly--instead of apologizing, she got very defensive, muttered about "corporate" the entire time I was there, and wasn't at all gentle. It's now a day later, and I have a two-inch circumference bruise on my left arm. I've had blood drawn at least twice a year, and most of the time, I hardly feel the needle, but this time it really hurt badly. I think she did it on purpose because I complained. I know it was just one person, and maybe she was having a bad day, but I'll go to LabCorp next time. read more

This Quest Location is terrible. No receptionist or anyone to help patients check in. The waiting room in this Quest office is dirty. The monitor alerting patients where they are in the queue didn't work. The whole waiting area was FULL of unhappy patients because of the lack of timely service and poor communication. When I was done and walked thru the lab area, there were four lab techs standing around without patients and the waiting area was FULL, standing room only. Pick a different location. This one is disgusting. While I waited to be called, I was ill from my medicine, very nauseated. I spoke with the tech when she appeared to tell her I was sick to my stomach and asked for a basin. She brought me an office garbage can, filled with used gloves and alcohol wipes, and set it next to me to vomit in. Just the contents of the garbage can was very unprofessional, unsanitary, and exhibited lack of training and sanitary conditions. Find another lab location. This one should be closed or restaffed with trained professionals. read more

I just left this facility 15 minutes ago. I have been using Quest Labs for over 15 years. The person at this facility was by far my absolute WORST experience. I will never go back to that location again, if I don't have to. I can understand having a bad day..We All get them and I usually can understand other's frustrations and I rarely let it get to me. However, the woman at this location was out right rude and very disrespectful, to say the least. I had my doctors orders which I gave her as soon as I was called back. She placed it on her table the asked me who the doctor was. Mind you she, not once, looked at me. I mentioned the doctors name. She proceeded to tell me she can't find the doctor. She then asks fir his phone number. I told her the number and very rudely said No, he's not In Our system. I said well I've been getting my blood work for him for well over a year and I only use quest. I asked her to look at the orders I gave her because all the info she needed was on there. His name address phone number and license number. She refused and kept saying.. he's not in the system. I wasn't going to sit there much longer and take her blatant rudeness. I got up said have a nice day and walked our Maybe she needs to change professions. We the patients need more and deserve more!! Not fair to treat others this way. read more

The employees at this location are so great! Quick and easy bloodwork. Management is not doing them justice though. They are clearly understaffed with way too many appointments. This sets them up for failure and frustrated clients. Be prepared for an extended wait but don't take it out on the employees because they are doing their best to get people in and out of there quickly. read more

Super positive experience here. I made an appointment online and on the day of, arrived about 20 minutes early. I signed in and probably waited about 10 minutes before my name was called to head to the back for several minutes of more waiting before finally getting my bloodwork done. The phlebotomist was very friendly and patient. I'm a wimp when it comes to needles and she gave me a little ball to squeeze to help calm me down. Especially since she had to take several tubes of blood (doctor's orders). This location is the closest to my house and if I ever need to get more blood work done (hopefully not), this is the place for me! read more

The people that work here are so incredibly rude and unprofessional. I can't believe they're employed at all. Also - Quest as a whole fails in that you cannot reach them by phone. The only number they have is an 888 number, and it's completely automated. What if you're having trouble finding the building? Awful, awful customer service all-around. Phlebotomists aren't the types of people you actively seek out at 7:30 am on a weekday, but at least you know that if you are forced to see one under doctor's order, the ones at Quest Diagnostic are there to greet you with a smile and even a sense of humor. I have yet to encounter any staff member at this location that has not been anything less than friendly, helpful or professional. My only qualms are that when I schedule an appointment at 7:30 am a week in advance because I need to be at work at 8:30 am, I expect to be taken back before 8:05 am. I understand that many people schedule these tests early in the morning for the same reasons as I do (the need to get to work) but not crowding the books could help ensure everyone gets there on time as well. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a routine blood test about 3 weeks in advance on their website for an appointment first thing in the morning. I signed in on their electronic sign in system and I was called to the back within 10 minutes. The staff members were very pleasant and very efficient. The technician did a great job with me and I was in and out within 20 minutes TOTAL! Having blood drawn sucks, but this location made it the best it could have been. I highly recommend letting these people stick needles in your arm if you're bored one day. read more
