We ended up with a minimal Bed Bug problem and Quest was the only firm we felt comfortable with. Karen was very knowledgeable and put us at ease about the problem and what needed to be done. I have a rental unit and a tenant noticed bed bugs. I was able to get a technician out within a few hours and the customer service and communication was impeccable. Over the top, rare to find nowadays. The tenant had terminex out the day before and their proposal was clearly less likely to work and much more expensive. So glad I called Quest. The technician was Super friendly and professional. Informative and helped make an anxious situation very smooth. I couldn't ask for more, and George was awesome:) I also discovered after looking at the ct.gov list of certified bed bug specialists that Quest is often subcontracted for their canine detection. Karen answers the phone and all your questions with obvious knowledge, real experience and a sense of humor. Charlie takes over with the same knowledge, attitude and humor. Don't let the smiles detract from the great work these folks do. A serious problem of squirrels in our attic and mice in the wall disappeared within a week of this company's attention both inside the house and out. This review is for the excellent service I received from Karen and the staff from Quest Pest. My family and I moved into our first home. After only a few weeks after moving in we started experiencing horrible bites all over our bodies and were scared that we had a bed bug problem somehow. Because we lived in a studio before we had essentially no furniture and the only new furniture we acquired was brand new pieces from La Z Boy. The brand new furniture from lazy boy was found to be positive for bed bugs thanks to George, their NESDCA certified dog. He proved without a doubt that it only came from the furniture as they were not anywhere in our house except for every La Z Boy piece. I spoke to quite a few companies none of them were as professional or knowledgeable or willing to take the time to speak to me and educate me on bed bug and treatment solutions as the staff did here. Many companies were ready to sell us packages off the bat to make money off us but Quest Pest is a company you can trust that wants to help you. There is a huge conflict of interest I found for extermination companies to be the ones who assess your problem and sell you the treatments because many were ready to jump to the products to sell instead of what was best for us. For example, though it would be more profitable to sell products which don't fully work or services you do not need this company is one you can rely on that is honest and well recognized by their peers. Thank you for the great service to all the staff I will definitely recommend for anyone who thinks they may have pest issues. A few companies I called and did not have the best service from and therefore would not recommend would be: Green Earth Pest Control (NYC based they use cedar oil spray which I learned would be ineffective), The Bed Bug Inspectors (Bad customer service, I described my bites and they refused to come over to my place because the man I spoke with said he was sure it was not bed bugs because I said the welts were painful and itchy), Professional Termite & Pest Control (On central ave in NJ they came to do a visual inspection and did not find anything but still recommended we spray?) read more

She helped us to remain calm throughout the process. It is very easy to "freak out" when you have an infestation. The staff showed up when they were scheduled and were in and out quickly.
