I cannot say enough amazing things about Westrom Group Property Management. My property had been…read moresitting vacant with very little activity, and after switching to Westrom, they secured a qualified 2-year tenant in about ONE WEEK, at a HIGHER rent than I previously had. I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed and extremely grateful. If you're looking for the best property management company in DFW, Westrom Group is it. Highly, highly recommend.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. You haven't solved any problems for me to write a good review. I told you I would not put a good review in until I see changes. No changes on your end at all. Don't come on here and lie. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. I will end with that. Anything you say after this I will come back with facts. Let's leave it alone and just make it to next August. We are not breaking rules and taking care of the property with love and care. So I should have no problem getting my deposit back when we move! I already handed over my documents to a professional. I am just covering myself. God bless

PLEASE READ BEFORE MOVING INTO MIRADOR APARTMENTS -- MY 4-YEAR EXPERIENCE…read more I lived at Mirador for 4 years. When I first moved in, the previous management was professional, respectful, and responsive. After my first 2-year lease, they even convinced me to stay by offering me a renovated apartment at a lower price, so I stayed another 2 years. Unfortunately, after management changed, my experience completely changed. My lease ended July 27. I missed the 60-day notice by 5 days, and I take responsibility for that. However, the previous management always reminded residents about important deadlines, and this time I received nothing. Once I realized, I immediately contacted the office, followed their instructions, and submitted my notice. I was told my lease would extend until August 5 with additional charges. I accepted that and was willing to pay. I only called because I wanted to know exactly how much I would owe. I spoke with assistant manager John and repeatedly explained that I was NOT disputing the charges. I just wanted the amount in writing. He first said around $300, then $400, and kept changing the amount. He initially refused to email me anything, but eventually agreed to send an estimate of around $400 and some change. I thanked him and wished him a good day, and he immediately hung up on me. I called back asking why, and he hung up again. I called again asking for a corporate number, which he refused to give me, and he hung up again. After another call, I was extremely frustrated and raised my voice, and he hung up again. I went to the office in person. I asked John why he kept hanging up instead of communicating professionally. The conversation became heated. I felt he was yelling at me and trying to force me out, and I was pushed/ushered toward and out of the office. Another employee then stood up and told me, "Get out of here, you bitch." Those were her exact words. I was shocked. After returning home, I realized my arm was hurting from the incident, so I called 911. Police responded, spoke with both sides, and advised me to report it to corporate. I contacted regional manager Melissa Minucci, expecting an investigation or at least an apology. Instead, she told me they reviewed the cameras and "no one pushed you" and "no one kicked you out." I asked, "Are you calling me a liar?" She responded, "Yes, I am calling you a liar." She then told me there would be no action and that I was no longer allowed to enter or call the office. That was extremely unprofessional and shocking. Unfortunately, the problems go beyond management. The community has declined significantly, with roach/pest and cleanliness issues, a pool frequently closed with cleanliness and maintenance problems, and gates often left open, sometimes seemingly 24/7. During my time there, I heard about multiple incidents involving stolen cars, stolen tires, and other property theft. There were also concerns among residents about whether proper background and income screening was being consistently enforced. I cannot verify their internal procedures, but prospective residents should ask about it. Also, be VERY careful with the fees. There can be $200-$300+ in additional monthly charges, so get a complete written breakdown of every fee before signing. Despite everything, I fulfilled my responsibilities: I submitted my notice, accepted responsibility for missing the deadline, paid the additional charges, and left my apartment in excellent condition--better than when I received it. I was never upset about paying the charges. My issue was the lack of transparency, professionalism, and basic respect. After 4 years, it is incredibly disappointing that this is how my tenancy ended. I would not recommend Mirador Apartments under the current management. If you're considering living here, talk to current residents, inspect the property carefully, ask about security, pests, the pool, screening, and ALL fees, and get everything in writing. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and money. Look elsewhere.

This is a team of work-from-home people spread throughout the metroplex. Their people will never actually step foot in your home. Only their subcontracted local vendors. They don't communicate or screen tenants. They allowed tenants to move into my property without paying a security deposit! Those tenants stopped paying rent, had to be evicted, and they trashed the house. I was under contract for 12 months, my property was occupied for 7 and I received rent for 4.5. They hired vendors to clean up, including a deep clean. My property sat unoccupied and full of crap (literally, dog crap) for a month before the vendors came. And they didn't clean. I sent pictures and videos detailing the incomplete work (large spots of washable paint that I could wipe up with water, animal fur and lint stuck to baseboards, cabinet faces splattered with food, etc) and asked that the invoice not be paid until the vendor came back. They paid the vendor anyway and said the vendor told them there had been "stains". So I ended the contract and had to do the work myself anyway. I lost a ton of money using this company.

They managed one of my investment properties and it was a complete nightmare. You have 17 different departments that would have to answer for any of your needs. Yes, their door fee is great. $109/mo but they bring a new meaning to the word cheap. This is the biggest JOKE of a company. I promise you with all of my heart and soul..... DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. This company is temu property management. They lock you into a contract because and once you're locked in... you're stuck with the incompetence. There are no amount of words to describe my disgust with the employees, management and owners of this company. I have had to speak to every layer of this company to get things done. I do have ONE positive thing to say about this company..... You dont HAVE to sign with them. That is all.
