PLEASE READ BEFORE MOVING INTO MIRADOR APARTMENTS -- MY 4-YEAR EXPERIENCE I lived at Mirador for 4 years. When I first moved in, the previous management was professional, respectful, and responsive. After my first 2-year lease, they even convinced me to stay by offering me a renovated apartment at a lower price, so I stayed another 2 years. Unfortunately, after management changed, my experience completely changed. My lease ended July 27. I missed the 60-day notice by 5 days, and I take responsibility for that. However, the previous management always reminded residents about important deadlines, and this time I received nothing. Once I realized, I immediately contacted the office, followed their instructions, and submitted my notice. I was told my lease would extend until August 5 with additional charges. I accepted that and was willing to pay. I only called because I wanted to know exactly how much I would owe. I spoke with assistant manager John and repeatedly explained that I was NOT disputing the charges. I just wanted the amount in writing. He first said around $300, then $400, and kept changing the amount. He initially refused to email me anything, but eventually agreed to send an estimate of around $400 and some change. I thanked him and wished him a good day, and he immediately hung up on me. I called back asking why, and he hung up again. I called again asking for a corporate number, which he refused to give me, and he hung up again. After another call, I was extremely frustrated and raised my voice, and he hung up again. I went to the office in person. I asked John why he kept hanging up instead of communicating professionally. The conversation became heated. I felt he was yelling at me and trying to force me out, and I was pushed/ushered toward and out of the office. Another employee then stood up and told me, "Get out of here, you bitch." Those were her exact words. I was shocked. After returning home, I realized my arm was hurting from the incident, so I called 911. Police responded, spoke with both sides, and advised me to report it to corporate. I contacted regional manager Melissa Minucci, expecting an investigation or at least an apology. Instead, she told me they reviewed the cameras and "no one pushed you" and "no one kicked you out." I asked, "Are you calling me a liar?" She responded, "Yes, I am calling you a liar." She then told me there would be no action and that I was no longer allowed to enter or call the office. That was extremely unprofessional and shocking. Unfortunately, the problems go beyond management. The community has declined significantly, with roach/pest and cleanliness issues, a pool frequently closed with cleanliness and maintenance problems, and gates often left open, sometimes seemingly 24/7. During my time there, I heard about multiple incidents involving stolen cars, stolen tires, and other property theft. There were also concerns among residents about whether proper background and income screening was being consistently enforced. I cannot verify their internal procedures, but prospective residents should ask about it. Also, be VERY careful with the fees. There can be $200-$300+ in additional monthly charges, so get a complete written breakdown of every fee before signing. Despite everything, I fulfilled my responsibilities: I submitted my notice, accepted responsibility for missing the deadline, paid the additional charges, and left my apartment in excellent condition--better than when I received it. I was never upset about paying the charges. My issue was the lack of transparency, professionalism, and basic respect. After 4 years, it is incredibly disappointing that this is how my tenancy ended. I would not recommend Mirador Apartments under the current management. If you're considering living here, talk to current residents, inspect the property carefully, ask about security, pests, the pool, screening, and ALL fees, and get everything in writing. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and money. Look elsewhere. read more

DONT LIVE HERE! SOMEONE STOLE ALL 4 TIRES FROM OUR CAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!! The regional manager, Malissa Minucci, (who was VERY rude and unprofessional) said herself "the gates are a false sense of security" (LIKE WHAT?!) and "that they will always leave them open" However when we first moved in in 2023 they told us they keep the gates shut and its a gated community (Apparently that isnt the case anymore) Cant even talk to the general manager Cory Settles about this issue because "hes to busy" and everytime ive emailed him for other issues i get NO response. Management is RUDE and can never seem to help because all important issues go through cory who I CANT GET AHOLD OF. The lack of empathy from management after THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF DAMAGE is honestly ridiculous, it seems like they have no desire to help or make it right in any sort of way. Which is very disappointing and frustrating especially as a tenant who has lived here for 2 years. Not to mention the actual apartment. When we first moved in, there is paint splatters all over the floor and appliances and painted over baseboards and shelves before dusting so there is hair and dust permanently on all surfaces due to the painter's negligence. The garbage disposal wasnt even hooked up so we couldnt use the kitchen sink. One of the outlets makes a buzzing noise and after putting in a work order they said everything was fine (its not it still buzzes REALLY LOUD). The paint is literally chipping on the outside of the front door. And the seal for the door has been replaced but wasn't installed properly so it's coming off and the bugs can get in. Living on the first floor is nice but when landscaping comes through with the leaf blower they blow all of it onto our porch and furniture. The metal cap on the handle to the shower has been missing since we moved in and they never came to put it on after saying they would. The pool is closed all the time for maintenance and sometimes they dont even tell you. The gym is very lackluster and run down. The lookout is the only nice thing on property but they dont keep propane in the grills and fire place so we never been able to actually use them. Overall, this apartment gave us false advertising across the board. Even other tenants we talk to have had these problems and feel like they were lied to as well. I HIGHLY recommend you find another apartment, in an other area, Cityview is just going downhill and theres more and more crime. read more

I had high hopes for my move-in at Mirador, especially after being told I'd be leasing a beautifully renovated unit. Since the unit was under renovation when I signed my lease, I toured a similar one and was impressed -- so I signed, with a move-in date of April 1, 2025. When I picked up my keys and opened the garage, I saw leftover carpet debris -- no biggie, I was still excited. That changed the moment I opened the front door. The place was clearly not ready for move-in. Dirt and dust everywhere, old water stains on the flooring, chipped paint in the kitchen, and walls that had been halfway repaired -- especially in the master bedroom. Even worse, the washer and dryer promised in my lease were missing. I immediately reported it to the office, who claimed they weren't aware and asked for photos. They said it would be taken care of. Then, on April 4, I got an email saying housekeeping and painters couldn't access the unit because the deadbolt was locked. I made a special trip out the same day to unlock it. I checked again on April 8. Still no cleaning. No painting. No washer/dryer. Nothing. I called again and asked if there'd be any concession or resolution for the delay -- especially since the unit should've been ready by April 1. I was told no, because the deadbolt was on (which it wasn't prior to when I moved in). The unit is still not ready, and I haven't been able to move in. The whole experience has been frustrating, stressful, and honestly very disappointing. I expected more from a property like Mirador. read more

Do you love being woken up at night by couples scream fighting in the parking lot while their toddler child watches in tears as he is slowly traumatized? Does the sound of dogs freezing to death in the cold just make your day? Then this apartment is right for you! On a serious note though, it's not funny, I live in the apartment complex next to this complex, and it's bad. I'm not sure what management is up to, they have to be so broke, because they will allow anyone to live in this complex. They do not have standards, if you care about living with people who have self-respect and respect for others, literally pick any apartment, but this apartment. I have witnessed so many things happening in this apartment complex that has brought me to tears, animal abuse, child abuse, just so much noise at all times of the day and night. It is insane. I have called the police multiple times. I have called animal services multiple times. During the recent snowstorm, this family left their Chihuahua outside for hours and it essentially froze to death. I had called the apartments courtesy officer several times about this family, leaving their Chihuahua out on extremely hot days, and cold. When I finally got in touch with a courtesy officer, he seemed so confused as to why I was asking him to do his job, he was not exactly aware of what his job was to be honest. I begged the officer to go out and just go to the building that I am talking about, you could hear the cries from the Chihuahua throughout the whole complex and the complex next-door, it would not be hard to find the Chihuahua if he showed up, he did not. I don't even like chihuahuas, but what I hate most of all is humans being so cruel to other creatures that we were made to take care of and nurture. However, the next day I did get an email with an offer for me to come to the apartments and get a discount on an apartment. INSANITY! No I don't want to tour your apartment let alone live in them I can barely stand living next to this apartment complex. Also, it's important to note that heights of city view, the complex I live in, has cheaper rent, nicer people, and a great front office with people super eager to help with any concerns you have. Mirador you're a disgraceful business and are furthering the downfall of society by valuing money over holding your residents accountable. read more

We lived here for 2.5 years and only moved because work relocated us. The office staff are responsive and do their best to assist with needs, requests, and questions. They have a system for everything which keeps things organized. We've moved around a lot due to work, and Mirador has been our favorite place to live. Beautiful, safe, friendly, clean, and responsive! Definitely recommend! read more

Management sucks. Monthly rent does not equal to what they claim to be... "luxury apartments". Pool is always under maintenance. Dog park sucks. We had a shooting.. keep in mind.. it's a gated community?!? Vehicles apparently get stolen. Super thin walls so you can hear everything and obnoxious noise will continue even if you call office to complain OR nicely talk to your neighbors. Just find something better.
