Bill did not perform in a professional manner. His work was amateur at best and he should not…read moreadvertise as being a professional painter. Bill walked off the job when he got in over his head. He demanded half payment in advance and then over committed and under delivered. I cannot say enough how disappointed I am with his lack of quality service. He sprayed paint on walls and in areas that were not part of the service required. The overspray ruined other painted areas and got on Windows and flooring. The single coat of paint it took him FOUR days to apply on minimal surfaces is now chipping, running and flaking. The paint applied is sticky and completely ruined things in my home. I've gotten quotes to get corrected as Bill refuses to return to the job and it will now cost me more than the original paint job to correct. He refused to tape off properly and repeatedly left the job site leaving hazardous fumes in the air and setting off fire alarms from sprayer fumes. Bill I feel was working multiple jobs at the same time and simply could not deliver as promised and got in over his head. His work was sloppy and his handling of the situation was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Bill needs to accepts responsibility for this and either pays the difference it will cost to clean up the mess and correct or he finishes the job in a professional manner and delivers on his promises. The original cost was $1650. The way it sits right now would require complete sand down and new prime and paint. Average cost of these estimates would cost me an additional $1000 or approx $2650. I feel Bill should return to the job site and instead of paying us to get fixed, simply finish the job. Otherwise he understands that I will be taking this before the court system.
