There laser is one of the best on the market. I had three sessions with Coco and she was amazing super and super sweet. My tattoo is a very dark, highly pigmented, black outline. I already knew going in that I would need 10-12 sessions to remove it. After three sessions the laser at the Bee Cave location broke, and I had to cancel my appointment. I intended to reschedule once they got a new machine, but life happens and I never did. After not rescheduling COVID happened and I lost track of time. Yesterday, 4/28/21 I went to the north location for my fourth laser removal session. Portcia (sorry not sure on spelling) was great! She had me ice my wrist for 5 minutes prior to the laser session. This caused vasoconstriction effectively reducing my swelling and under the skin bleeding. It's one day later and I have almost no discomfort. Highly recommend going here for tattoo removal. I can't wait for my next session!

Warning: Missing Shipment and Frustrating Customer Service…read more I've been a customer of The Medspa Austin since June of last year and have spent a total of $3,834 with them. Up until recently, I never had any issues when receiving my Trezepited shots in person. Nurse Practitioner Ashley Johnson and Dr. Paydon Newman both provided excellent care and really helped me achieve my goals--this review does not reflect on them at all. However, after switching to semiglutide, the first shipment arrived without a problem, but the second one never showed up. The UPS delivery photo was just a black screen, even though I was home all day. I filed a missing package claim with UPS and also contacted The Medspa Austin and the fulfillment company in Dallas. Everyone was polite and tried to help, but ultimately referred me back to The Medspa Austin because they needed to complete a form UPS had provided. Despite my efforts, The Medspa Austin would not replace the missing shipment, citing the "delivered" tracking information, and asked me to pay an additional $200 for a new shipment. I wasn't asking for a discount or a refund--I just wanted the shipment I had already paid for. This has been extremely frustrating, especially given the amount of money I've already spent and my previously positive experiences with their team. Until this missing shipment issue is resolved, I cannot recommend The Medspa Austin. However, I do want to emphasize that my negative experience does not reflect on Ashley Johnson or Dr. Paydon Newman, who both provided wonderful care.

The method is passed down from the scalp masseuse's grandfather in India. They used to take herbs and bury them in the earth to absorb the energy from the moon and the sun. You change into a little dress and they massage herbs and oils into your head for thirty minutes straight. The. They braid it and you leave the concoction in for at least two hours. A few moments later I opened my eyes again to the girl with her phone up as if she was filming me. I turn to the lady massaging my head and asked if she was filming me and she said yes, I responded and said no I don't want to be filmed. After the massage was over she asked for our phone numbers to "approve or disapprove" the footage for her to use. I was so confused and annoyed and said no two times persistently, still she was trying to convince me by saying how she won't be using my face. I told her I don't want any footage of my head or anything and she looked almost baffled that I said that. Anyway I'm super frustrated with the way she was handling this whole filming thing, it seemed more important than the actual massage. At one point I even heard her say to the girl filming "one more time over here" while I was trying to relax. I have a good feeling they are going to use that footage anyway.
