First, as a Physical Therapist I was fascinated by the "freedom of movement" sensations with the floating but also how it highlighted different areas of my chronic tight spots and how I was able to focus on relaxing these (took me 15-20 minutes at least). And then I was able to mentally relax too because I tuned everything out (I shut the lid - do it!). I was also surprised with the mental clarity I felt while floating because while I was in there, I had great ideas just coming one after the other and I felt the ability to really focus on these ideas and think creatively at the same time. I definitely want to try this again and hopefully set up a routine because it was so therapeutic! I felt looser afterwards, I was relaxed, I felt I had this focus - I mean it was just so beneficial and I can just imagine how it could help people in chronic pain who have tight muscles everywhere or people needing to process through things. I can't wait to go back and honestly have a list of things I want to focus on while in there. You have got to try this!
