Went to CPR repair about fixing my broken screen 2/24/21. I signed my iPad over to them and they…read moresaid I would hear from them fixed or not on Friday. Friday came and went and I did not hear from them. I went to check on it physically this morning (Saturday) and they said it was close but they would call me tomorrow. I just looked and they are closed tomorrow on Sunday. *Edited* Received a phone call saying it was ready. 3/1/21

I was sent to this CPR location by Assurant/Spectrum Mobile Protection for a screen repair on my…read moreiPhone 16 Pro Max. The phone was fully functional prior to service. Within two days, the OEM replacement screen failed. I returned on Christmas Eve and was told it was a possible Apple defect. An aftermarket screen was installed as a temporary solution, and that screen failed within a day as well. Before the second screen was installed, a CPR technician opened the phone and confirmed there was no water damage at that time. The technician who performed the initial screen repair was not present during this inspection. After these repeated failures, the phone later showed visible moisture around the Face ID/front camera area, which was never present prior to CPR's repairs. The technician who performed the initial repair then gave contradictory explanations, first claiming the phone had water damage earlier, then admitting that was incorrect, and later claiming it "now" has water damage. When I requested a manager or owner's contact information to resolve the issue, I was refused and told to "leave a Google review." The technician escalated the situation by raising his voice and acting unprofessionally. Due to multiple failed authorized repairs, I was forced to file a second insurance claim, pay a higher deductible, and pay extra for Saturday delivery because I run multiple businesses and rely on this device. What should have been a simple screen repair became a costly replacement caused by failed repairs and lack of accountability.

I gotta be honest, I'm not a fan. Walked in to get a notebook made for a work project. I advised…read morethe associate the document may be too large to send via email. They say this is the only way they can help me. I asked if they possibly had a store USB, which I have experienced at several other Staples locations. No. Okay, so I send the email and pray it works. While waiting, an older gentleman is asking how to use the fax machine. Instead of the associate walking over to help, which is her job, she shouts at the guy from across the counter. Now, being an older gentleman he didn't quite understand her instructions, so I walked over to help him. Two minutes of my time and the gentleman was helped. With the customer service severely lacking, I wait 9 minutes before an email is shot back to me stating the Staples email is full and cannot receive any other emails. The associates give me a store email to send which pops back stating the document is too large to send to the store email. The ever so helpful associates tell me the only other way would be USB. I asked if they really thought it should be the customer's responsibility to pay for a USB drive to transfer a document given their email is full. Literally a shrug and an overall yes. I'll drive literally anywhere else, even pay more money if I have to, not to go back to this Staples. I have attached the email below showing their inbox was full and could not receive more messages.
