On Friday, 05-10-24, I knew finding someone would be difficult and likely impossible. I received "first available service dates" from next Tuesday to the 20th! What a huge blessing to have found DEPENDABLE PLUMBING/HEATING AND AIR SERVICES, LLC! From the initial call with Mrs. Shawna, who was so sweet and understanding, I knew our prayers had been answered! She told me that Mr. Michael would return my call and within 30 minutes he did! They're both animal lovers and knowing that our sweet Tucker was suffering along with us touched their hearts and Mr. Michael was at our home within 45 minutes! He quickly detected a leak and absolutely no Freon, within a short period, we could feel the humidity and heat starting to subside, Heavenly relief! The total charge was very reasonable as they absolutely saved us from having to find a hotel room for the weekend at the very least. They could have easily charged us an exorbitant "emergency call" fee, they didn't. They're a local business (actually two businesses, the plumbing operation is their son-in-law's). You're not dealing with a huge impersonal corporation, you have an honorable, honest, and kind family-operated business who really cares about you, your furry family members, and our community! I still have the used components installed on my air-handler. I have contacted him numerous times, he has responded with various excuses and even admitted to "having forgotten about us.", and recently has said he was in a car accident and would see about getting someone out to install. (That was over a month ago). I think I have been more than patient with this guy, I try to give small business owners the benefit of the doubt and prefer to use them if possible. Lesson learned though. Advice to new customers... go ahead and pay the bigger company. You will save money and time. We had sewage backing up in both bathrooms. We called the plumber after trying to auger the drain…read morepipes. Justice said he could not recreate the problem, to call drain dawgs if it continued because they're better at drains. He told me he couldn't fix the tub drain top on the bathtub either. That the entire shower and bath unit would need to be pulled out and the entire pipe replaced. Then he charged me $50. As soon as he left the sewage backed up in the bathroom. We called a different plumber who hydrojetted the lines and said there was definitely a clog. That fixed it temporarily so then I contacted Roto Rooter to put a camera in, he located the issue in the front yard close to the city line. Metronet put their line through our drain pipe. So the pipe was broken and the mud kept filling the hole and backing up. This guy didn't offer to investigate or look in to it at all. The bathtub train top was also replaced, along with the toilet wax ring. I didn't have to pull anything out.
