Best contractor experience I've ever had! I was reluctant to hire any contractors for the remodel of two bathrooms in my home. My experiences previously with contractors was atrocious. When I hired Spencer I was prepared for a frustrating and difficult couple of weeks. To say I am pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Spencer is an amazing communicator and made sure I was in the loop every step of the way. He came to our house multiple times to check in on the progress with his sub contractors and did some of the work himself. We had a really strict time constraint with one of the bathrooms and Spencer made sure everything was completed in time. I could tell Spencer was personally invested in my goals and happiness as a customer, which is amazing because I'm sure he's very busy. The quality of work and products used was beyond my expectations. The same guys came each day to do the jobs, which made the projects consistent and go quickly and smoothly. Even when certain unexpected obstacles arose (as they do with remodels--especially in an old home like ours) everyone was awesome to work with, communicated effectively, and solutions were quickly reached. I feel the cost of the work and products was right in our zone, and Spencer was completely open to our picking and choosing what we wanted done so the project fit in our budget. He wasn't pushy or sales-person-ey. Just honest, direct, and absolutely reasonable. Again, I cannot say enough about how AWESOME it was to work with Spencer and A Perfect Plumber. I honestly won't hire anyone else for future projects because I can't handle the frustration of other contractors. read more

Rented a 55ft articulating towable boom, on check out I was not taking through a walk through of the machine, when I went to use it the next day after parking over night, opened it up and the had left the key too the on position, which I was told that would run the hour meter, we called for help on where to check the meter talked to Gordon on the phone, he did nothing but talk down to myself and father, interrupt when we would try to explain something to him, and was very unhelpful. He told my father that if we returned it today he would refund use full amount, I called back and talked to Gordon again to let him know we were returning it to get our refund, he then told me my father was putting words in his mouth, that he never said he would refund us, and then after arguing with him about his poor customer service he had hung up on me. I did not appreciate the way he talked to my father and I, when I finally dropped off the machine after he told my father he'd refund when I returned it, then told me we had to wait till the following Tuesday. Gordon can't seem to manage the slightest customer care. read more

We have a home warranty and A Perfect Plumber was the contractor we worked with. I contacted Spencer same day I put the ticket in and he helped get one of his workers out the next day. Spencer was out of town for the week but was extremely helpful. I wish I could have said the same thing about his worker he was rude and not trustworthy. He acted as if he didn't care about my problem and that it was an emergency more as if he was put out. He caused a huge dispute with the warranty company and for my family to go even longer without water in our home. I was extremely agitated with this of course. Luckily my wife was able to speak with Spencer again and he went above and beyond in helping us getting the situation resolved. Extremely professional, helpful, communicates well and makes sure the job is done correctly with explaining everything in layman's terms with patience. If you work with A Perfect Plumber you will know what I'm talking about speaking with Spencer he is great and ended up helping us save a ton of money!!!!! read more

There is no one better at updating a bathroom. He was detail oriented,kept to our price we discussed. Checked on it regularly. Now I truly have the most beautiful bathroom in my whole town. Spencer truly takes care of each detail himself. He will ask almost everyday if this or that is up to our satisfaction. On the last day he is so detailed he cleaned the bathroom for the last time himself. We even had a window replaced and he made sure it done perfectly. Plus it's so nice that all we had to do was talk to spencer we didn't have to worry about scheduling people or setting anything up. If you want a job done we're its perfect and done with only 1 person you have to speak to then spencer is your guy. My bathroom was taking down to studs and now it's truly a new bathroom. It was great price considering we had a new floor new walls,and window etc. I am so happy he deseves this 5 star rating no question. read more

Spence and his crew just finished our bathroom. It is just beautiful. Everyone worked hard and did a fantastic job in a timely manner. Did not do a rush job. Took there time and checked to make sure everything was correct. Spencer made sure his crew did everything right as well. The little bathroom was awful. Had leaking toilet that leaked under it and the bathtub was old. The crew demolished it all and started over. Everything is brand new. Beautiful work. I plan on using Spencer and his crew again to do our master room bathroom and basement bathroom. As well Spencer had done plumbing for us before. He is very good at calling back and explaining everything. I learn something new every time. He and his crew great at cleaning up after themselves. Words cannot express how great out bathroom looks. We hired A Perfect Plumber to replace an old worn out shower stall for my sister. Spencer Peck did an excellent job and did it quickly. He also showed up when he said he would and was always on time. That is a big plus in Tooele where a lot of contractors make appointments but never show up. We also hired him to do a small job at our house and of course was very pleased with his work. I found Spencer through a Facebook recommendation. He came over today to fix a leaky pipe for us. He came right over after we called, fixed us right up, and was very reasonable in what he charged. He also gave us some advice and options about how to deal with another plumbing issue we have that isn't urgent.
