On my way from a work appointment my car had started smoking. I took it in and they got it in right away and said that just a plastic bag he gotten stuck on my exhaust to my relief. The whole staff was so friendly and they barley charged me anything for working on my car for at least a hour to make sure the bag was completely cleaned off (it had to of been melted pretty bad it was really smoking). The have a spacious waiting area with glass to see them working on your car, coffee, vending machines. Would definietly recommend! read more

This place absolutely really knows how to take someone's money. We brought our car over to check what's wrong with the battery. I told them, the battery is just renewed, so the problem is not in the battery. The receptionist said it could be the malfunction of the alternator. They didn't give us any call back after nearly 5 hours when we were waiting for them to know what's wrong with the car. Then when we called them back to check, they said the problem was in the alternator and the total cost to fix it would be 700 dollars. We said we could bring the car back to fix it on our own. They charged us $244 for diagnosing the car. First of all, why the diagnosis takes so long? You guys just make money out of that? You guys already knew the problem from the start. That girl with red hair, think about what you did was right or wrong. I hope you know why your business is going down and look back at the way you make money from this business, the dirty tricks never make you stay long. read more

After a bad experience yesterday with Quick Lane Auto on Citrus Park Drive, I advise you to go elsewhere. I took my car in for a simple brake light replacement. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked about it and was told the entire light unit needed to be replaced for $365, and the part would not come in for 3-4 days. When I declined the offer, I was told the diagnostic fee would be $150. I objected to that and said I would go elsewhere for a better price. One of the employees, possibly a manager, offered 50% off the $150 diagnostic fee ($75) and said, "Just give us a good review." It was not a joke. I reluctantly agreed to pay the $75 to get my keys back but was told I owed $91.06 instead. They had added a "miscellaneous charge" of $10.50 and tax of $5.56 to the $75. I paid and left, in no mood to write a good review or ever return. I immediately took my car across town to a mechanic I knew well. He diagnosed the problem for free as merely a burned-out bulb, replaced it, and charged me only $35. After hearing my story, his comment sums it all up: "Places like that unknowingly send many customers to me." And he is right. Never again will I use or recommend Quick Lane. read more

Took my vehicle there for a simple routine oil change. Ran out of oil and could not drive the car halfway through a road trip a few days later. They were unable to troubleshoot why the car ran out of oil by phone the next day. I found out from a local jiffy lube that the new oil filter was not put on correctly which caused a rapid leak. They showed no sympathy for the situation they left me in (stranded in pouring rain, late at night, with a baby asleep in the car). They dismissed my concerns about engine damage and said running out of oil while driving was not bad for the car. They did the bare minimum to make up for it. read more

Jimmy is a gem, so very sweet, he speaks very good English and Spanish.He will take care of your car as soon as he gets your keys. He even noticed a scratch on my car that wasnt there before and asked what happened? When I walked with him to my car. This is the place where many come for friendly and honest service such as Frank who checks you in and out. As I am sitting here writing this review TJ the Service Manager shook my hand and asked if I would like a water bottle. Now, I dont know about you, but that is attentive and caring service. Afterwards, TJ took the keys from Jimmy to inspect the work that was done and took the car around the block to drive and make sure everything is ok before I checked out. So, why would you want to go anywhere else. Give them a chance and ask for Jimmy and TJ. Tell them Frances Hickey from the Walker family sent ya and you wont be disappointed. read more

I had a surprisingly good experience here, and I will definitely be coming back the next time I need an oil change. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, a worker came over to me to see what I was interested in having done. While he did try and up-sell me the most expensive oil change, he was fine with me getting just the overall basic one. He got right to work, and after about 30 minutes came out with a list of suggested things I needed done, of which I only had him replace the cabin air filter, which I could see was dirty (side note: I watched a video afterwards on how to replace that, so I'll be doing that in the future myself). The waiting room inside was clean and bright, with a television on, and fresh popcorn for you to help yourself to. I was in and out in an hour, which is really the best you can get when having tires rotated and oil change. Reasonably priced and quick - this is my kind of car shop. read more

Less than a week after Quick Lane replaced the ignition coil on my 4-Runner, the pesky "Check Engine" light flashed back on, and the engine started knocking again. So I drove it back over the the service center for them to see what was the matter. Dave, the Master Service Technician from my original visit, dropped everything to give my SUV the full inspection. After a while he determined that the problem was the fuel injector, and declared that it was HIS fault the problem wasn't caught last week. They ordered the replacement part and asked me to bring my Toyota in on Saturday morning for them to repair. I got to Quick Lube about 8:30, and they had the parts as well as an open bay ready to go. Dave spent about an hour making the repairs and then taking my vehicle on an extended road check to be sure that everything was working properly. Imagine my complete shock when I went to check out and found that Quick Lube was charging me nothing - absolutely zero - for today's repair! They claimed it was their fault that the problem wasn't corrected the first time, and they wouldn't think of charging me for all of the inconvenience. WOW! Talk about outstanding customer service!!! Seeing mixed reviews but all I can do is share our positive experience. We got a flat tire on our pickup because of a huge screw puncture, and limped in. Nicole took charge immediatekt; she said she would fix the tire if possible, and if not call us with a price for a new tire. When she did call, she said the tire was fixable and they were doing it right then. We assumed we were going to get hit with a new tire, but she told us the tire had very little wear on it, and since it was repairable that was the better option. They also topped off our washer fluid. The price was very reasonable, the service impeccable and fast. Went in because my car was not starting, they said the issue was my ground wires weren't grounded right, they fixed 8 of them charged me $260. Went out after i paid to try and start it and my car wouldn't start (still at the shop) they kept saying how it started every single time for them in the 3 days it was there, which obviously was a lie cause then how would they know what was causing it to NOT start. Refused to refund me, they then looked "more into it" then came back with a bill of $1,300 of multiple things and said that's why it's not starting. Went to a different shop and they said it was my fuel pump and my ECU. NONE of which was on the list that these people provided for me. Recommend if you go here to get a second opinion. read more

If you value competent service by technicians who won't break your car, go somewhere else. Sitting in a parking lot right now after my car was in the shop today for an oil change. Battery grade on the receipt shows a 100% health assessment by the technician. The battery is dead and corroded. It is 3 years old. So either the technician is incompetent or s/he damaged the battery in the course of servicing the vehicle. Glad I paid $180 in labor to have my vehicle improperly serviced and spend my evening in a parking lot waiting for AAA to get through rush hour traffic to install an above-market-price battery. Just hoping they didn't break anything else and the car is safe to drive. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation for the reasonable price. That weekend I took my car to firestone to have my breaks changed. After an hour of waiting I was informed my wheel key was missing! They were going to charge me $50 To take my wheels off. I had to wait 30 Min for quick lane to open and another 30 for them to get their crap together and find my key. Now I've been waiting almost an hour for someone to come bring it to firestone so they can start my brake change! So here I am almost 3 hours and counting....this place is so irresponsible I will never take my car back here again! If you do take your car there, check EVERYTHING to make sure they didn't leave something off or lose something. Way to go quick lane! read more

Came in for an alignment and tire balance and found out I needed new tires. I knew that was a possibility but still a bummer knowing you're about to shell out hundreds of bucks. They gave me an estimate of the same tires I had, and then I called around to get some quotes from other places for other tires. When I gave Quick Lane my quotes, they called their supplier and actually found me higher rated, cheaper tires! I went there to buy 2 tires and have them installed. I called the day before to ask if they had the size and brand I needed and was told they DID. I said I would come in the next morning, which I did. I was signed in and my car was put in the service area. TWO hours later, my car was still up on the lift with the tires off and no mechanic around. I asked at the front desk why no tires were on my car and was told that they did not have the tires I requested the day before---that they had sold them to another customer an hour before I arrived and had to order them from some place else. I asked why I was not informed of this when I arrived so that I could make a decision whether to wait or return the next day. The lady did not answer that. She said that the tires were on a truck but did not know when they would arrive. An hour later they came in. This ordeal took 4 hours out of my day! Needless to say, I will NEVER go to Quick Lane on Gunn Hwy. again. They have no conception of Customer Service and dealing with customers with integrity. Awesome experience! I am very often discouraged to get an oil change due to some of the shops that charge an unreasonable price for it. I ended up going on the user-friendly website and printed a coupon to get it at a discounted rate. I utilized the 39.99* or less The Works package, that included an oil change, filter, tire alignment, tire pressure check, fluid top off, battery check and a few extra small checks done. I was in a rush because I had to return to work and asked if their courtesy shuttle could take me back to my job but FYI the shuttle stops around 1PM, luckily I don't work that far. But, the lady in the front was so kind and sweet she notified me of it VERY nicely. I sat in there cool lobby to take shade before I had to walk and in the lobby it is extremely comfortable and spacious. Overall the service took about an hour and I was VERY happy with the way the car was riding afterwards, it even had a nice shine to it due to the complimentary car wash. Overall, BEST EVER! Time-management skills needed. This was my 3rd time there for an oil change and I waited two and a half hours. There were only 2 other people in the waiting area. The other two times I waited more than one hour. The technician working on my car was on his cell phone and was not paying attention to what he was doing. I've been going to this place on and off for years because it's convenient. I've tolerated frustration after frustration. This past weekend was the last straw. Two weeks ahead of time I scheduled a front end alignment on my sons car who was coming from Melbourne to have some repairs done on his car. I set it up to drop my car off Saturday afternoon and because this dump won't take appointments I agreed to leave it all day Saturday and Sunday if necessary. They guaranteed me they'd get to it either Saturday or Sunday. Sunday at almost 11:00 the call me and tell me one of their employee's trucks is on the rack, can't be moved and they won't get to my car!! Here's the catch. They broke down this truck and ordered parts Saturday afternoon and knew all that time they weren't going to get to my car but still didn't tell me until I had no where else to go. My son had to be in work Monday morning. Remember, I set this up TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE!! This place sucks. read more

Been taking my wife's car here for oil changes as it was close to the house. No issues after the first few oil changes. Then after one oil change they forgot to refill some of the fluids and they were apologetic about it. No big deal. However, after the next oil change the worst imaginable happened. My wife took the car to work, two days later, driving on the Howard Franklin and she couldn't brake! The brakes just went out. Thank God she was fine. We had the car towed to our mechanic and he found that the problem was the emergency brake was slightly engaged, but not enough for the light to be on. This cause the brake system to fail. We never use the emergency brakes, so I called Quick Lane to ask if they used the emergency brakes on my wife's car. They told me that they engage the emergency brake on all the cars they work on for safety reasons and release it before giving it back to the customer. I told him that their employee did not fully disengage the e-brake and cause the brakes to fail while my wife was driving on the bridge. The person on the phone proceeded to say its not their fault that she doesn't pay attention to the warning lights in the car. It's the responsibility of the driver to make sure the e-brake is not engaged. The person was defensive and rude during the conversation and would not accept any responsibility. First of all, the warning light for the e-brake was not on because it was engaged but not all the way. People who have used their e-brakes know that can happen. Also, I expect that when I bring a car to a shop for an oil change that it is given back to me in the condition that I left it in. If you use the e-brake on someone else's car then you better make sure it's fully disengaged. They could have killed my wife. Stay away from this place and their employees' negligence. read more
