Find another car wash…read more This car wash used to be good until about 4 months ago. My last 3-4 washes have been awful. The way the car wash is setup it only cleans the top and middle of the suv. I had to literally wash it with water and rags in the parking lot after the wash. The assistant manager said I may have to go thru several times because management had reduced the soap and cleaners to safe money and they were no longer providing the wheel shine even though it is supposed to be part of the package. So you pay for premium wash and get what - half a wash?? I have tried it several times since and for the same results and hear the same sad stories from the stafff Cancelled my monthly subscription. Stupid to have to wash your own car after going thru the car wash.

Those are hard to remove and most carwash services out there do an extremely poor job at cleaning bugs or road tar without at least some minimal scrubbing. I'm pleased to report that the WhiteWater team almost always goes the extra mile and they will manually scrub the front bumper and windshield before your car goes in. Some days, like today, they scrubbed the front, back AND sides. I was impressed. What a service! It's my go-to carwash whenever I drive through Lockhart. Oh yeah, free vacuums and cleaning tools are nice too. They're there for all to use. WhiteWater really put other carwash companies to shame. So glad to have them around!

I went on a Friday afternoon and washed my vehicle as normal. The lot was full of people vacuuming their vehicles so we decided to come back in the morning since we have a "membership". Normally we dry our truck and vacuum but since it was the evening and packed, we decided to wait till the next morning. Well, next morning, I seen the damage/ deep scratches all over the front end of my truck. I immediately reported it and was told by the supervisor/manager (Troy) that since I waited till the next day they could not help me much. I still made a report. Did not get a call back until I called them 6 days later. (Troy) reminded me that he had already told me they would not help since I waited the next day and anything could of happened since. He told me they would not review the camera footage since they do not know the time frame it happened. He then said 3 people reviewed my claim and said they could not do anything. "WHAT DID THEY REVIEW IF THEY DID NOT LOOK AT THE FOOTAGE?" Moral of the story, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR VEHICLES BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE PREMISES. It's almost exactly the same, meaning you pay a similar price, go up to the machine car wash and someone scrubs your car a little to loosen any debris and then you go through a machine with colored foam. I personally think the gentleman who wipes the water droplets off your car after the dryer is a nice touch because for people like me who have never waxed their car in life, my car can look like it cried if water dries naturally AND the only reason I go to whitewater is for the self-serve complimentary vacuum situation they have going on. That said, I didn't have any cash for the vacuum machines Sharky's offers and so my car is a little dusty still, but my plan is to wake up earlier and go to whitewater next time. Tried Clear Water Express Wash for the first time on a busy Sunday afternoon. The car wash was…read morespeedy despite having a decent line of cars in the three lines waiting for the car wash. Clear Water also has a nice vacuum area complete with towels and window cleaner that is complimentary after your wash. I chose the third tier wax & seal wash for $20, which advertises rain repel, tire shine, and fusion wax. This car wash seems to place more emphasis on its monthly memberships than single washes, with the wax & seal tier being only slightly more for a monthly membership ($33) than I paid for my single wash. For the most part my car emerged from the wash shiny, although I did clean up a few spots that were missed with the towels. However, I have a rain curse -- every time I wash my car it rains not long after, and the wash did not hold up through the rain despite the "rain repel" and wax seal. I may revisit when no rain is in the forecast, or try one of the two cheaper price tiers.
