Quality gone down, prices are up. Man in the Yellow Hat who receives the vehicles was kind of a smart ass. Talked down to me. Guy working the register was yelling for people to claim a Ram truck, as if anyone would confess to own a Ram, but yelling nonetheless. Truck rims were dirty, bug juice still on windows, left a towel in my truck, thanks. I had a membership that expired and was gonna resign based on today's service. Thanks for saving me money folks. To start, I worked for this company only for a day and let me tell you... it's not good. So I'm going to be honest on this review. Firstly, the manager is not aware half the time of what's going on and leaves the location often, for what reason I do not know he just leaves. Secondly, when a manager is not around the workers get lazy and do not get the job done at all which means your car will not look like what you payed for, VERY SCAM LIKE. To add, the workers are outside for a 5 hour shift in the sun with no breaks, this is a big safety hazard and effects the employees performances on the vehicles, the manager (Chris) should be ashamed for not looking over his employees health conditions and work completion. Lastly, It is an expensive wash with little detailing so I would say if you want your car washed properly and detailed properly I would recommend a different location near you. read more

Bought a package of three car washes at 35 each. The first wash was disappointing. The second I let them know in their survey. The manager called couldn't have been nicer. offered to replace the coupon used as well as send me a new booklet of coupons purchased. Never happened. My husband used the last coupon had a disappointing experience as well. I again used their survey to tell them about the experience as well as to tell them their follow thru was questionable at best and to do better. I got a voice mail asking me to call them. I'm not gonna chase a vendor nor was the next move mine. We really need a quality car wash. read more

I had a coupon for a full service car wash and they were very nice about it. customer service is great, however, the car wash was a waste of time cuz I didn't even have to pay for it (coupon). the full service wash came with a complete interior vacuum, windows cleaned inside and out, door jams wiped, and the dashboard to be "carefully dusted". I got back to my car and already saw that there was still paint on my window that I had asked to be cleaned and had to tell the guy to scrub it off (very nice about it, but annoying to have to ask). I stepped in my car and the only thing that looks different were my windows and not all of them either. there's a big splatter that I had on my window that's still very much there. they did not vacuum the back floor or wipe down/dust any of my dashboard. I've never been to a car wash where I leave with my car looking the same. . even with a coupon, it was not worth going here. read more

I went to get the complete interior detail which is $139 and it was not worth my money. My car still has dog hair in the carpet and some spots on door is still dirty. This is the third time I go here I'm never fully satisfied. Update: the General manager Bryant called and apologized for the services and offered to redo the cleaning and offered to pick up my vehicle and drop it off after it got cleaned. My boyfriend took both of our cars here this past weekend to get cleaned and he paid for the $35 wash for both cars. The seats of my car were vacuumed but my floor mats and everything else was not, the inside of my car was not wiped down at all and there is still dirt on my car. The hood of my boyfriends car was scratched and when he mentioned it they said sorry here is an extra towel you can keep in your car.... We will never bring our cars here again, they did a terrible job. read more

They do a decent job - maybe they are more detail oriented if you spring for the more expensive services...I've gotten the $29 wash tub special twice now on two different vehicles and both times, there were forgotten/neglected areas. This WAS an excellent car wash...the best in my estimation. The last 3 times I have been there ($35.00 wash) I leave with interior windshield untouched, seats dirty with spilled coke, or coffee...nothing that a simple swipe wouldn't fix plus DIRTY DASHBOARD, REAR VIEW MIRROR, etc. I was informed they don't wipe down seats and that's considered "detail" cleaning. When I asked IAN to wipe the filth off my car, he said, "Ma'am I'm busy with another car and it's crowded here." I informed him I cashed $5.00 over for his tip, but no way he was getting one. We have 2 cars and drive a great deal & need car washes. I'm disappointed in this service and how it has dwindled to a money-making sham. My car was worked on for a total of three 17 minutes (including vacuuming). I'm posting this on Wimberley Community Forum and won't be back. I've never left a review before but I am really disappointed in the service I received. Everyone at the facility was extremely kind and the service was quick, but my car was returned to me still VERY dirty. I paid for the ultimate wash, and my back seat still had some areas that could've come off just by wiping it. The trunk hadn't been touched. Some light vacuuming but there's still a lot that needs to be wiped down & the back window still has smudges all over. Honestly I don't think they even cleaned the back window at all? The dashboard was still dusty. I regret not having them redo it, but I had an appointment to get to and I didn't want to be late, and they were closed by the time I was done. I wouldn't recommend this location. Very disappointed. I feel like I completely wasted my time & money because I'll have to clean it myself now. read more

I had my car washed there last week and I did not inspect the job they did but when I got home and opened the back door of the car I found that the back mats had not even been cleaned - so then I did take the time to inspect I found that the most pitiful job had been done!! Both the exterior and interior left so much to be desired that I immediately made the decision never to return! I can't believe they allowed a car to leave their business in that condition - but never again for me - I probably could have returned and insisted that they do a better job but I was on my way out of town and didn't have time for that and was gone for three days and I didn't think they would honor they work and make it good by the time I returned - in spite of the fact that there was still dirt in places and quantities that could not have accumulated in just the three days I was gone! Excellent...but then again... Two weeks ago, I took my mom's 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 to The Wash Tub in San Marcos, Texas, to be detailed, $139 dollars. It took two and a half hours, but I think there was a car in front of mine. Anyway, they did a fantastic job. I mean incredible and they gave me a free coupon: "Full Car Wash Service." On Friday, September 10, 2021, at 8:55 a.m., I took my Camry to The Wash Tub. When you drive in this guy asks what type of service you want so I gave him the coupon, and he asked, "Do you want an upgrade?" I said, "Not at this time." He then wrote on the window with white chalk, he does that so the workers know what type of service to give the car. I watched about six cars come out after being washed and they're wiped down and dried, the tires are cleaned. They looked really good, shiny with not a speck of dirt on them so when mine came out I didn't inspect it, I just tipped them and left. When I got home, I noticed that the window on the passenger side was all smudged up on the inside so I tried to wipe it and I couldn't. I don't know what it was, but I'm thinking that maybe whatever they use to wash the windows wasn't wiped fast enough and it dried. It took me about 15 or so minutes to get it all off. They did vacuum the inside well, but they ignored the trunk. They didn't clean the sunroof, inside or out. And actually, the top of the car looked like it hadn't been touched. There were bird droppings on the hood of my car, and the tires and rims were still dirty. I think when the guy wrote on the window with white chalk, he wrote something like UGH - Use Garden Hose to clean. I'm thinking that maybe they were told not to do a good job, but when they vacuumed my car, they found a twenty-dollar bill and placed it on my console, so they aren't thieves. And also, they give out coupons to draw in customers so it doesn't make sense that the workers were told not to do a good job. Maybe they just don't like Toyota? Of course, I did notice they are hiring so they are short-staffed, but that isn't an excuse. I was there for 35 minutes to basically get nothing cleaned. I could have gotten a better job at the H.E.B. drive-thru car wash for $7 dollars which would take about 15 minutes tops. Like I said at the beginning, the detailing they did on my mom's truck was fantastic. Even the piece of plastic above the grill (I'm not a car guy so I don't know what they call it) was filthy and really loose, but they tightened it up and cleaned it. Remember, this truck is 21 years old and aside from a few scratches here and there it looked brand new. Maybe, if you want them to do a good job you just have to pay, don't use a coupon. Like they say, "You get what you pay for." I don't know, but I'll never go there again or recommend them. read more

The inside was still dirty in parts like the door step and I had to ask someone to clean bird poo off my truck. Really? Isn't that a given? Update: I received a message from the owner within 15 min of leaving my post. Within 30 min, I received a call from the area manager. I appreciate the time they took to call and listen to my concerns. It means something when you get the business' attention in efforts to making it right. With that, I've gone from a non-returning customer to giving a second chance to see if changes we made. Hopefully it will be 5 stars on my next visit. Had some problems with rodents in me and my husband's vehicles. Took them immediately to the Wash Tub for a cleaning and disinfecting and they were quick and prompt to care for us and understood our urgency. They took both of our cars and spent 2 hours on each, and got the interiors sparkling clean. I was really impressed and glad we could get in on such short notice. I'd been to the Wash Tub many times a few years ago and was always pretty satisfied with their work. I was really impressed with how clean they got all the glass. Sadly, yesterday they didn't even get that right. I got the Manager's Special for $25. I was told that it included exterior wash, interior wipe down of upholstery and dash (did I want to condition for an extra $10?), vacuum, Air Freshener (if I wanted) & Tire Dressing. As far as the wipe down of the upholstery, see the picture. What did they wipe it down with? A tissue? There were half a dozen people with damp rags looking busy around my Jeep. You'd think one of them would have seen the mud on the seat. Maybe they did and $25 wasn't enough to get it wiped off. The glass that had always been pristine on previous visits was spotty and smeared. Maybe they used the same rags on it that they did on the finish because it looks like they dried the hood with a dirty diaper. All in all, not a good experience. I gave them the second star because one guy noticed it hadn't been vacuumed well in the cargo area and took it back to be redone. read more

March 3 at 11am I went to The Wash Tub in San Marcos. I honestly have no words on describing how livid i was and currently am after their service. I paid a great amount of money for a full detail service and what I received was anything but that. I have a bunch of extremely noticeable paint cracks and chips now and not only that I have a very big CHUNK of paint missing on the side rear that hasn't been there before. And it's not just that I get inside and my radio isn't even working properly none of the buttons are working. I work very hard every month to pay for my truck I've worked hard to add a professionally installed sound system and radio and for them to severely damage my vehicle and not want to take responsibility is insane. I will not let this go. When I spoke to the General Manger he apologized and said he will talk to his supervisor, which then came back to the only thing they were willing to do is a refund. The attitude was very poor it really annoyed me more for the fact that they didn't really care about what happened as if this wasn't a big deal. I got a very mediocre apology..
