I would strongly recommend avoiding Quick Quack Car Wash. Their brushes damaged my vehicle's paint, and the way they handled the situation was even worse than the damage itself. Instead of taking responsibility, they denied accountability and gave me the runaround. Their customer service was unprofessional, and no one seemed interested in resolving the issue. After getting nowhere with them, I had no choice but to file a claim with my insurance company. When you pay for a service, you expect a company to stand behind its work. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Because of how I was treated, I canceled my membership covering all four of my vehicles. They lost a loyal customer over a situation they could have handled the right way. If you value your vehicle and want a company that stands behind its service and takes responsibility when something goes wrong, I would look elsewhere. read more

Monthly ceramic package, drive in 2-4x per week depending on how many bugs I get on my way home. Last 4 or 5 washes, the rinse seems to stop after the front windows. Today, bed soaked in soap, passanger mirror and window covered in soap, tailgate covered in soap. Its raining, so i anticipate it will wash off. Employees doing fine, my main issue is the water conservation over the last few weeks. $40/month for unlimited washes isn't a bad deal. However, if only half my truck is gonna get washed, I can go talk to the people off McKnight about a monthly plan. read more

Apparently they removed my review. A couple months ago I brought my truck in. The second I approached the the pay booth, a female manager abruptly came out and said "we can't wash your truck", I looked at her and asked "are you serious?" She said, "yes, because your roof rack". I responded saying, "I've been here 30 times and my truck has been covered in mud. She said, "doesn't matter, company policy. It's to protect your vehicle. Since their opening in Nevada City, I have been a member and I am considering canceling my membership. Yesterday, we were loaded into the washer too close by the attendant, and the person behind me hit me. We have no control of our vehicles as we are guided through the wash. The lady behind me was equally shocked, so she slammed on her brakes, but she was in fear that the person behind would hit her. This was a stressful situation that could have been avoided 100%. My bumper now has scratches from the car license plate. It's the plastic part of my bumper that prevents me from buffing it out. This is a brand new carwash in Grass Valley. It is located at 2059 Nevada City Highway (across from Lumberjacks). CONTRARY to what people may be posting on other sites they are NOT open yet. I went by thete today (Novembet 4th). The workers said it would be a couple more days before they open to the public. They have a gteat location as it is in the heart of Brunsick where there is shopping and fast food places. They have done a gteat job with the landscaping and it takes over the entire corner! IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CARS PAINT, DON'T TAKE IT TO QUICK QUACK CAR WASH!!! We bought a membership a couple days after buying our brand new 2025 Tahoe. It wasn't until a month later after going through the Grass Valley location that i noticed the swirl marks on both sides of our new car. Quick quack refused responsibility. They told me to turn it into my insurance company. The only locations we visited were Combi Rd and Grass Valley hwy. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Per your response... I didn't have time to wait and talk to someone at that moment. I called customer service and they told me to go back to the location and fill out a customer incident report. Which i did!! Do not take your car here! The attendant loaded us too close to the car in front of us. Our car hit the car in front multiple times. All our sensors in the car were going off! Very scary!!!! The attendant had to stop the car wash. Which didn't fix the situation because once the person started it back up we again were pushed into the car in front of us! The attendant never came to check on us once we were out of the wash. We made sure the older woman in front of us was ok. Her car had no damage but her tow hitch bent my license plate and surround. Why, especially if there were no other cars behind us, would the attendant load us into the wash so close to the other car! Not safe! Very scary! So in all honesty, I only go to quick quack for the vacuums, and when I pull up a young man with slicked back hair, dirty blonde color, comes out and greets me. I unfortunately didn't get his name, but he asked what wash I wanted and I said I want the good single wash, he the informs me that that particular wash doesn't come with the weather seal or whatever it's called, I said that's fine, and his remark back was "well then I wish you luck with the upcoming weather" in a very snotty tone which I found unnecessary. Not one other employee has ever said that to me when I've gotten the "cheapest" wash. They have always said okay, and moved on. Also, my car is old, the paint is already chipping off, I really don't care about the weather seal thing ‍ I just wanted to use the vacuums. But maybe their employees need to not have snide remarks like that when a PAYING CUSTOMER is getting a wash. I tried Quick Quack for the first time so just got the basic wash. My car was very wet with drops all over it after the wash. Nobody dries the car and the wind thing doesn't blow the water off at all. The back of my car and the rear window (I have an SUV) were both left very dirty. The sides of the car were OK, except for the lower parts of the door. When I got home, I had to clean the back of the car and wipe off the lower sides. Really not worth paying for. My issue was NOT addressed properly and all responses given for the incident were scripted and phony. You do not care about your customers. If you did, you would have your employees make sure that people don't enter your car wash with things that they shouldn't have on their car. Instead, you have people waving people through as fast as possible...when exactly is everyone supposed to stop and read everything? When I pulled up, the nice gentleman said they were running a special today. I was told something around $18 for a superior wash and unlimited washes for the next month. When I got home I checked my email and found I had been signed up for a membership that will auto renew for $37.99/month! If I want to cancel it will cost an additional $5 just to cancel!! I recently got the basic wash and didn't realize until the next day that the rear of my Toyota Highlander was not cleaned appropriately. I went back to our quick quack and talked with Michael about it. He let me know that the newer Toyota Highlanders, and some Subarus are shaped such that the brushes cannot reach the full back hatch of the vehicle. He said that the pre-wash spraying person should put extra spray on the backside to help, but that may not do it. He apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a free upgraded wash to compensate. He was really nice about it and I appreciate the heads up. Now I know to watch for this and maybe do a quick wipe down on the back before leaving if needed. read more

I tried my first car wash at quick quack yesterday, April 15, 2025 sometime around 1pm, just wanted to sample before buying a membership. I have not been able to formally make a complaint yet but wanted to note my experience here in the meantime. The rolling brushes were so intense, I thought my paint would be scratched or chipped, then it seemed as if my side mirrors were going to be ripped off by the first two rolling brushes, they were aggressively bent outwards and folded twice, and then the third brush was spinning the opposite direction and violently slammed them back into place. Now I'm noticing that my driver side electric adjustment is damaged and no longer works. Of course now I'm reading all of these complaints and bad reviews, hopefully the company doesn't deny responsibility like everyone else I'm seeing. Car washes are typically rather inefficient at really getting your car clean; this one is no exception. Much extra work was needed after the pass through to get the bugs off. I opted for the "Lucky Duck" which included wheel cleaning. There appeared to be some tire shine stuff spread unevenly on only two tires; just the left side. The wheels themselves still required deep wiping; lots of dry dust left untouched. I didn't get what I expected for the XXXtra $$. As usual, buyer beware. read more

i've had an account with quick quack at multiple different locations with multiple different different vehicles as I have several small businesses and multiple vehicles for each. I use the services of quick quack for a truck wash and their brushes ripped off my driver side rearview mirror. They were able to find the mirror however it was broken and they began to tell me that it was my fault and that they will not be covering or replacing. the manager claimed that this is company policy. things have started to go down since opening! my biggest bummer is the towels they provide are not even wet. They don't do much because they just dry out before anyone can use them. I am also bummed that the car wash hasn't been getting my car as clean! Lots of dirt and bug splatter still on the ca and windshield. I'm giving 1 star for corporate service. Lost my license plate and can't call the store directly to see if they have it. 888 number is for sales. Rep says they can't reach the stores direct either other than email, and they are not supposed to. Asked for an area manager, and they couldn't provide one.Really??? They said to go back to the store. It's not a location I usually visit and it would be inconvenient. Finally the rep said she would email them, took my phone number. Quick Quack is selling service. Their back office policies lacks it unless you are signing up and they take your money. The actual wash and onsite staff are great and car comes clean every time. They do loop you in at a low rate, and then make it impossible to cancel the membership required for the intro month. I did exactly what they said, and canceled at the car wash a week before the expiration date and was billed anyway for the subsequent month. I will be filing a complaint with the Bureau. read more
