I recently got my car detailed at Affordable Auto Detail because I am selling it. I appreciate they fit me in with short notice, but I am disappointed with the outcome. I received a quote of $300, which seemed fair. I dropped my car off and left for several hours. My car was still being detailed when I came back. It took a while longer. I was then told that my car was deceiving & they did their best, but if I wanted them to get it cleaner I would need to bring my car back and pay another $50-$100 for another 1/2 an hour to hour of work. (That seemed wrong because they offer packages ($300 is the mid-tier package), and do not charge by the hour.) Furthermore, it was night and my car was parked in their driveway with no outdoor lighting when it was time to go. I could not see that there were sap spots (removable by acetone nail polish remover) and dusty areas left in my car. They did a good job cleaning easily accessible areas, but they did a poor job cleaning harder to reach areas (the reason I got it detailed.) I do not feel like the job that was done was worth the $300 I paid. read more

My car was an absolute mess. I use it for carting multiple boys, dogs, ranch supplies around. It is a true workhorse. But with that comes spills, dog hair, dirt ... Affordable Auto Detail has now coated two of my vehicles with the ceramic coating. It truly is worth the money as it makes the paint look like it came off the show room floor. Not only does it make the paint sparkle, but it's supposed to protect the car's paint for 5 years. So far, water and dirt glide off when washed and the vehicles still look like they just got waxed. I couldn't be more happy with the finish on my two vehicles. read more

Incredible job! I travel constantly for my job and I honestly didn't keep up my company car like I should. So over 6 years of neglect it got very dirty, to say the least. I didn't think these guys could even come close to getting it clean again but I was wrong. I came to pick it up today and it was close to new condition. It even had the new car smell. First off, this company no longer offers a mobile detailing service. Second, the company is careless, to the point of being reckless, with customer vehicles and property. When I brought my car to their facility during normal office hours, I found the office door unlocked, lights out, no one on the premises, and several sets of customer car keys sitting out in the open on the counter. I called out several times and no one answered. I looked outside and could find no one. I telephoned the office and got voicemail. I, or anyone else, easily could have grabbed the many customer car keys and stolen, damaged or removed property from any of the customer vehicles on site. The customer key chains presumably also included keys to customers' homes. I parked my vehicle in the lot, left my own keys and locked the office door behind me. When I received my car back the following day, my registration--the only piece of paper I had left in my glove box--was missing. Whoever detailed the car tossed the registration away as if it was trash. Fortunately, I discovered the registration was missing before the business' trash was collected and they were able to recover it. When I confronted an employee about the unlocked office keys being left up for grabs, he said he was in another building and that the facility is equipped with security cameras. If he was in another building (which I doubt), he did not see or hear me call out, and did not even answer the phone. The security cameras might help to apprehend someone who stole vehicles or property, but would not pay for property losses or damage. The detail job was good, but dealing with these folks is just too risky for me. read more

I made an appointment with Affordable to come to my home to detail my horse trailer. The morning of the appointment, they called and left a message canceling, stating that an employee had not shown up for work. Subsequently, I made three phone calls attempting to reschedule. I received no return call. Surprisingly unprofessional, since my first interaction with them last year was quite good. I will not be going back, nor will I recommend them to anyone who asks for a referral for detailing. Terrible customer service. read more

Tyler Sidebottom, the owner of Affordable Auto Detailing, did an amazing job of detailing the exterior of my Chevy Tahoe. Unfortunately upon entering my vehicle i noticed pit like splatters on the inside of my drivers side and passenger side front windows.These were definitely not present upon delivering my vehicle to his shop.I am certain of this due to the fact that i had detailed the interior days prior to having Tyler do the exterior. When i brought this to his attention, and asked if at any time were the doors open during the process of using a buffer with various compounds, he said yes. He was adamant that there was no possible way his compounds were responsible for these spots. We discussed this for at least a half an hour. The discussion even got to the point where he told me that he has had a number of customers attempt to point out problems with their vehicles after they have been worked on in his shop. Huge RED FLAG! Oh... side note... there were small white splatter specs on the interior door panels which i ended up having to remove, which by the way were the same diameter as the pit like specs on the tinted windows. The end result of our conversation was that " I was lying about the spots not being there prior to the delivery of my vehicle, and that he wasn't going to do anything about it". It will now cost me another 150.00 to have the tint damage repaired on top of the 500.00 i paid Tyler to detail my Tahoe. Absolutely Unacceptable! I will never recommend Tyler Sidebottom to anyone.If anything i will share my experience. read more
