With the abundance of Wawa and QuickChek stores in NJ, I wasn't expecting much from Ol' Sev. Today my expectations were exceeded! For one, the parking lot had room. Yes, the layout isn't the best, but that's typical for Long Island. Two, the store was pretty well-stocked. Three, the coffee really wasn't bad! For $2.49, I got a large cup of their 100% Colombian and the machine actually grinds the beans freshly before brewing. To me, it's better than Starbucks black stuff and it's half the price. If I lived around here I'd probably stop by whenever I didn't want to make coffee at home. Perhaps I'd even try their $3 "2 slices and a drink" deal. One star loss for the unknown dates on their "oven fresh daily" buttered rolls. Really wanted to try those, but just can't trust a buttered product that could've been sitting out for days.
