Great egg sandwiches. Somewhat immature, but not impolite, service. It's a good place to stop for a quick deli-type bite.

The space is pretty lively and would be a great place to watch a sports event. Appreciate that the space has different types of seating areas from traditional dining tables to a big bar area and a lounge area in the middle. It can get loud in there so I wouldn't go there if you're looking for an intimate vibe. The staff is pretty friendly and do a good job of attending to the patrons. The food is where it was a bit disappointing to me. I can appreciate the wide variety of items on the menu, but not when the quality varies so much. We ordered a few pasta dishes (one that was on the daily special), a few taco dishes, an order of wings and the brussel sprouts. All of the pasta dishes were huge disappoints. They looked like pasta dishes from Applebees. The sauces were very runny and the kids pastas were the most basic pastas that were way overpriced for what they were. My daughter who loves pastas only ate about 1/3 of it and told me she didn't like it. The wings were dry and not saucy enough. The tacos were OK. The brussel sprouts were the only standout dish that we ordered. I liked their extensive draft beer menu though. Lots of variety to choose from and the drinks were fresh. Overall, I'd certainly come back here and hope that I pick some better food choices or a big improvement on the food quality, but a fun place to hang out at.

(Not entirely sure if they take reservations, but you can add yourself to an online waitlist) The food was delicious, I had the trifecta - your choice of waffle or pancake, your choice of eggs in addition to a choice of bacon, ham, turkey sausage or chicken sausage. I love how many options their menu had. Lots of gluten free choices and my meal alone gave me a lot of choice. They also have healthier menu items and their prices were very reasonable! The restaurant was busy, but clean and service was quick and attentive.

Food : 3.5/5 (Salty for our preference) Service : 5/5 Ambience : 4/5 We ordered the (1) Seasonal Menu - Chimichurri steak & eggs hash, & (2) Strawberry pancakes. The steak & egg hash was pretty good, exactly as presented in the picture !!!! But the food was very salty for our preference. I don't usually have to mention "Easy on the salt." But, next time I am at First Watch, I might have to. The pancakes were just regular. Not so fluffy, but a bit mushy. The server was very attentive, and pot of coffee was a convenient service without having to raise your hand for more. The place is very spacious and very busy during lunch time. We would like to try the salad and sandwich next time !!!

There is a beautiful raw bar area, lots of seating, and overall just a really good atmosphere for a group lunch or even drinks after work. The staff was on point the entire time. We were a pretty big group and everything still came out smoothly and nobody ever felt forgotten which I appreciated. We started with oysters and they were fresh and really good. Definitely one of the better things we ordered. The fried calamari was okay but not something I would specifically come back for. The Caesar salad was actually really good and I liked that it had anchovies in it because a lot of places skip that now. I ordered the lobster roll and thought it was the perfect lunch portion. Enough food without feeling too heavy after. Other people at the table ordered burgers, steaks, and pizzas and everyone seemed happy with their meals. The pizzas especially went fast. Overall really good experience. Good food, great service, nice atmosphere, and a menu with enough variety that everyone found something they like.

TVs on. Area was crowded with very loud bargoers. People bumping our chairs, and we honestly could not hear ourselves think. Service was slow. The food was decent. I enjoyed my linguini fruit de mar which had a fresh tomato sauce and lots of different types of seafood. Kids enjoyed the pasta too. My wife had the fig and prosciutto pizza which had that nice sweet fig taste. The apple beignet was delicious but I would not call it a beignet - more like a... pocket? Portions were sizable. New York city prices. $11 for a side of french fries. $36 for my pasta. $75 for a paella for two.

It's lively, a little eclectic, and full of personality in the best way. The food matches that energy perfectly. The nachos and cheesesteaks are not just good, they're fun. Generous, flavorful, and perfect for sharing (or not, depending on how hungry you are). It's the kind of menu that doesn't take itself too seriously but still delivers exactly what you're hoping for. What really sets La Taberna apart, though, is everything happening beyond the plate. Live music, and other events give the place a vibrant, social feel. It's ideal for a fun date night or just getting together with friends and enjoying the moment. I've been there many times, and it never disappoints. Farm Cafe 40 Old Hook Road…read moreCloster, NJ 07624 Homemade Hibiscus Iced Tea Farm Burger This country style cafe is located on the Abram Demaree Homestead farm. This building has been around since 1700s and was formerly a general store and tavern. All of the menu items are freshly prepared in house using organic ingredients directly from the farm. These are a couple of the lunch menu items I explored: Homemade Hibiscus Iced Tea: This herbal beverage has a reddish color; its appearance is different from an original iced tea. The drink was very refreshing with a slightly tart taste. Farm Burger: This ounce angus patty includes lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a secret sauce. I also added yellow American cheese for a $1 up charge. I cannot identify the ingredients of the secret sauce, hence the name. It was really tasty and I requested a small extra cup on the side for dipping. For the most part, this was a tasty burger. Next time, I will request to have the patty cooked medium well because I feel a well done burger compromises its flavor. This cafe also serves as a farmers market; they sell grocery items such as homemade honey and farm fresh eggs. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend dining in so you can take in the country atmosphere. #farmcafe #abramdemareehomesteadfarm #farmburger #hibiscusicedtea #closternj
