This was a pleasant location: clean, friendly, and cozy, making good use of the long hallway space as a seating area. There are a couple of couches to hang out on, as well as tables and chairs. I like their streamlined ordering process whereby you can choose your drink hot or cold, add toppings, and adjust the level of sweetness and amount of ice. The milk teas are my go-to, but this time I ordered a large iced Vietnamese coffee with herbal jelly. My absolute favorite drink is the dirty brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls + foam. It's very sweet though, so tread lightly! If I'm craving something more fruity and refreshing, my go-tos are the passion fruit green tea and lychee green tea. What I like about Gong Cha is that you can tell their teas are freshly brewed. They are STRONGGGGG. Their tapioca pearls are always chewy and cooked well. They're constantly expanding their menu by adding new drink series. Whether you want a slush, a fruit tea, milk tea, or coffee, they have something for everyone. You can customize your ice and sugar levels and there's a large variety of toppings/add-ins. They've even added bubble waffles and frozen yogurt! I recently got to try a sample of their taro milk yogurt and it was HEAVENLY. The interior is super cute! I normally don't leave negative reviews--especially for Filipino-owned businesses that I genuinely want to support--but the customer service during my visit really needs improvement. When I walked in, there were two employees. I tried to say hello, but one went straight to taking out the trash, and the other looked at me without greeting, then went back to whatever he was doing on his phone for about two minutes while I waited to order. I even had to repeat my order because he wasn't listening the first time. I also asked for double tapioca, but I was told they "didn't have a lot" and could only give one serving. I understand shortages happen, but it would've been nice if they made an effort or at least offered an alternative. Customer service is about going a little above and beyond, and that part was definitely missing. I really hope they can improve how they interact with customers, because the experience matters just as much as the drinks. read more

Beautiful new store, opened couple of months ago in New Milford. The store has couple of couches and three high tables. Plenty of decorations around the store to make create a wonderful ambience. The quality of the drink is as good as other Gong Cha stores. I do feel they are more generous with bubbles (boba) than other places. Bubbles are soft and chewy. You adjust the size, sugar level and ice for your drinks. If you sign up with Fivestar during your order, you get $5 discount. Afterwards, every $50 spent at Gong Cha gives you, $5 off. read more
