Like most people, I've been avoiding the stores like the literal plague, unless absolutely necessary. I managed to make it about a month into quarantine before caving and finally buying some wine. This is where QuickSip Delivery comes in. They've got a great variety of craft and domestic beer, but I will say the wine selection is definitely limited. In a jam, however, it plays. Yes, it's at a pretty steep cost. But when you've exhausted being bored in every square inch of your apartment, a little wine goes a long way. And if you don't want to face the daunting lines at Acme, QuickSip's got you covered. I've ordered red, white, and bubbly. None are less than $18 or so a pop (trust me, I always sort price low to high), but they're actually really decent brands, so it's not like you're paying $18 for a $10 bottle of Beringer. I've actually never heard of some of the brands, but if I had to guess I'd say they'd maybe typically retail in the store at like $15 or $16, so it's not that much different. You're paying for the convenience and they are SO prompt! I wasn't sure how quick the wine would come but it's never been more than an hour. So simmer your sauce, boil up your pasta and by the time you're done, it's there. Super easy checkout, even easier delivery. read more

I am thrilled to have come upon Quick Sip delivery service! The closest Wine & Spirits shop is a mile away from me. Typically, this is not an issue, but in the middle of a work day when you decided to host a last minute happy hour at home... this is a lifesaver. Ordering is very simple and there are enough selections to please. Delivery was within an hour, which was way quicker than I even needed. I was so excited to find a wine delivery service in the Philadelphia area. Prior to placing this order, I call to ask about the delivery service. A man name Sean answered the phone. He was very friendly and informed me that purchases were typically delivered within a hour. He did note, that it was raining tonight and stated it could possibly take up to 2 hours. After placing my order online, he called to confirm my order and stated it would be 90 minutes. From the time Sean called me to when my order was actually delivered, approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes had passed. I am usually very understanding but this wait time was more then twice the approximate 90 minute wait time they initially promised. I would have given 5 stars but 3.5 hour wait time when they promised 90 minutes just doesn't cut it. Do yourself a favor and just stock up on wine at the grocery store. read more

I want to love this service but a few things are off. 1. My delivery took 3 hrs. Ordered at 2pm on a Thursday which doesn't seem like it should be a popular time. If the expectation was set from time of order that it would be 3 hours, that would've been ok... but based on my expected delivery time (3pm-3:30pm) I made plans to be available and then had to change that. (Delivery came at 5:10) 2. Looked up the wines after purchasing. All of my bottles were $17-$21 on quick sip. Google told me they all retail $9-$11. 3. Tipping on the price of the bottle seems a little odd. Delivering a $20 bottle is the same as $50. - taking tip calculated by bottle (as opposed to normal delivery tip) & bottle upcharge into account, I paid about a 100% premium for convenience of wine delivery. I think that is a fair premium for convenience, however I was bummed that the "convenience" factor wasn't there.. since I had to change my schedule to accommodate an unknown delivery time- Love the concept, and will give them another shot, but would love to see a few things improved. read more

I live in another state from my best friend so i ordered her some wine and a card for her birthday. It arrived the same day, they wrapped it in my choice of wrapping paper and wrote on the card. SHE LOVED IT!!!! So great 10/10 would recommend read more

I was dreading going to the store in the rain and during quarantine, so I'm so glad I stumbled upon Quick Sip! They have a nice selection of reds and I grabbed a case of downeast, too. Packaged safely in a box and delivered right to my door within the hour! So easy. read more

I use quick sip to order wine or beer for gatherings, and have done so probably 15-20 times since I discovered them. Never had a problem, and didn't mind the 1-2 hour wait, the convenience of it is amazing. Friday night, however, a new delivery person appeared at my door and began to yell at me that he had rung my buzzer and called me 10 times each. I calmly explained to him that the buzzer I heard and came down for was the first I heard, and that there were no missed calls on my phone. He would start to head to his car to get my wine, and then would turn back and argue with me - in an aggressive way. He was yelling my phone number at me, and would not stop arguing AT me. I finally said "I do not like your tone" and had to say it over and over because he would not stop. He finally turned around and then drove off w/out delivering my wine. I called the Manager, who was very nice on the phone - but quite frankly I am sure he went back with a different story. I have never experienced anything like this, and I get everything delivered from groceries to Cavier/GrubHub when I am feeling lazy :-). Even if I had been wrong, and he had waited TEN MINUTES like he said he did, who yells at a customer AND for 10 more minutes? One would handle that a different way, yes? The unfortunate thing is I can no longer use this service because I can't risk that person coming back to my door, I was shaking and crying a bit by the time it was over. Whatever you do, make sure you don't keep anyone waiting because this guy is a ticking time bomb! read more

this is the greatest thing ever. these guys are nice, fast, and the beer selection is amazing. i don't think i'll ever go to the store to buy beer again. if i can have two minor complaints it's that the hours aren't posted on the website which means if you order outside their hours you won't get your order and they don't tell you that they only accept Hawthornes growlers for the growler exchange. MINOR complaints for an all around amazing service that i use almost twice a week. read more
