I was on Quick Weight Loss several years ago! I was successful. Life happens so I gained again. The program works!! (so I am a returning client) I now live in Boca Raton and I go to this center. They were great in the beginning. I understand there are restrictions due to the Corona virus but they promised council by Zoom and to provide an e-mail address to send journals. What I got for 3 thousand dollars....they don't answer the phone (no call back). They never provided an e-mail address and they don't respond to text messages. If you call the QLC customer service number you are sent to the same center that doesn't answer your calls. Glad I paid with a credit card. I am putting the transactions in dispute. Approximately five years ago, I was diagnosed with Celiac disease which explained why I was chronically ill. I ate all gluten free products. I felt so much better but steadily in the five years my weight increased to a point of I felt uncomfortable in my own skin. I came to Quick Weight Loss at a last attempt a new diet. I was doubtful due to all the numerous diets and programs I had tried previously. At one point, I even tried to a vegan diet because I knew a lot of people loose a lot of weight. Nothing seemed to work to help me get back to my old self. I started QWL in February, I'm ecstatic to say I'm down 38 pounds! I didn't realize how much weight I had lost until my coworkers nicknamed me "The disappearing woman!" Next, my pants all began to fall off me! QWL has forever changed my life! I wish I had read ALL the reviews rather than the testimonials (one of which was from someone whose opinion I value) before signing up for QWL. The only positive fact was that person received a referral fee. I am a life-long dieter having weight the same at age 11 as I did when I got married 16 years later. I have likely lost +/- 20 lbs enough times to have created a fully-grown 6'4" man. I used "Ayds" (product failed after "Aids"), Metrical for Lunch-Bunch, original Jean Nidetch Weight Watchers (*more about this later), Stillman, Scarsdale, Atkins, Over-Eaters Anonymous, SlimFast, newer Weight Watchers, Rotation, Suddenly Slim, calorie-restrictive and the yet-newer Weight Watchers diets. My most recent bout of dieting was to lose the "Florida 15" - sort of like "Freshman 10". A protein/fruit shake for breakfast, plain Greek yogurt with fruit for lunch, small protein bar for snack and protein with vegetables and salad for dinner wasn't working. Everyone in my community who was successful said it was pricey, but worked. All I had to lose was $2,500 (most for supplements bought on discount** with their Platinum plan.) OK, I got sucked in to QWL. I started Thanksgiving week. I survived Thanksgiving, Corporate Holiday Party, Chanukah, pre- and post-Christmas feeding frenzies, and now New Years Eve. To date, I have lost 7 lbs in 5 weeks, that is depending on what day and at what time I weigh in. You MUST weigh in 3x weekly. My question is, OR WHAT? Does it negate their NO MONEY BACK guarantee? The diet is a f*cking pain. You cannot commingle proteins (no surf and turf, seafood combinations, no repeating limited items 2-days in a row, heaven-forbid eat something not on "Plan" (thought I was going to smack the counselor when she commented tilapia wasn't on the plan...I asked what the nutritional difference was between it and red snapper or flounder which was...She said, "Tilapia is not a real fish!). Eating out is more than challenging. The "tilapia" was brought up when I mentioned the SADDEST meal I've ever order: baked tilapia without bread crumbs or added butter and steamed vegetables. It LOOKED worse than it sounded (very SAD) but it was 8:00 pm and I was hungry. Then, there are the friends who comment on the supplements - makes you feel REAL good about your choice. When asked why I wasn't losing weight more quickly, I was told it is likely because I don't have as much to lose (only 17.8 lbs). They thought I could do this in 8 weeks. I will share the ONLY reason I continue is because of the financial investment. I will not be buying more of their supplements once I am finished with the pre-paid batch. *About comparing this diet to other programs, I believe it is a combination of the a lot of diets I been on: original Weight Watchers (2-4-6/5-3-1 = 2-4-6 oz of protein at bkfst/lunch/dinner -5-fish/3-beef/1-liver meals plus veg., etc.); the new Paleo (only what you can hunt and gather); throw in some garcinia cambogia and white bean extract (along with a few other appetite suppressants and carb blockers) and substituting "their essential fatty acids" for dietary fat...JUST DON'T COMMENT or you will be chastised. As I am not losing as quickly as the counselor anticipated, it was suggested that I increase a suppressant, and decrease 1-startch and 1-fruit. I think they make this up as they go...Perhaps weighing once per week, at the same time in similar or the same clothing the manner Weight Watchers' does? Oppps: slap my hand for comparing. My BIGGEST challenge (aside from socializing and eating out): keeping a food journal. It may make one accountable, but it makes me too connected with food. All I can say: BUYER BE WARE! read more

Their supplements cost hundreds of dollars and have no scientific data they work and they cannot confirm the purity of these supplements since no supplements are FDA controlled, but they will lie to you about that. They will try to bait you with their claims of losing weight for $20-30 dollars a month, as long as you pay the $800 a month in their supplements. They are a scam. No lasting weight loss comes from this program. They are being investigated by numerous agencies for fraud, including the States attorney office. I'm waiting to see if they respond to this post with more of their bs. read more

And yes, anyone can loss weight when the ONLY THING you are allowed to eat for months is dry chicken or beef and some green vegetables. Would get better result stranded in the jungle living off bugs and plants. Then expected to pay $1000 - there is NO $7 deal like advertised to take advise from overweight consultants. I was also ripped off by this place and got sucked in by the "lose 30 lbs for 30 dollars". I have spent so much money here its not funny. I am embarrassed to admit it. I lost a few pounds, but the supplements gave me an allergic reaction with a rash and hives! They are chock full of unhealthy ingredients like soy and fake sweeteners. How is this healthy? I went here to see what all the fuss was about (per radio commercial ad stating that it's wonderful) Met with a fairly nice "DR?" not really sure why they wear DR. coats and scrubs, so not really sure what they specialize in? But anyhow she took me into a room and starts with the spiel and is reading the back of the flip chart about the program. So what I got out of it was that you are buying water pills and other supplements at an outrages price and all only for $1400 normally but for me today it was only $399! How nice of them... So when I stated that I needed to "think about it" she got a little pushy and started with "what would you need to think about, don't you want to get healthy and lose weight?" Listen lady, don't push me into a program that you didn't even explain clearly. Didn't even look at a menu plan or anything related to lifestyle changes etc...It was like they are selling supplements only, nothing else was shown???? So where the heck is my money going to? That's what I need to think about is why should I give you my money for supplements? Then the kicker... she brings in her "closer" to ask me why do I have to think about the program? This center helped me to get the "me" back that had seemed to disappear slowly over the years. Barbara, Neil and Lynn are helpful and friendly, they make you feel comfortable. They are there to help, support and guide you. I have struggled with trying to lose weight for years. The employees in this center not only made me successful, they stood behind me and encouraged me to succeed. After trying lots of different ways of losing weight and being scared to give up food that I loved so much, I decided to give this program a try (after a friend swore by it). And she was right, it worked. It has not only changed my image but also has changed my level of confidence. While everyone in the center goes above and beyond, I have to give a special shout out to Barbara because I came to Boca from another QWLC center (due to convenience) and she really took me under her wing to make sure that I felt completely comfortable with everything. This is the best program I have tried. I have the most wonderful support ever, which is truly priceless. I am so blessed to have gotten to know almost everyone at the center. I love Laurie, Lynn, Carol, and Ellen. Everyone is kind and helpful. Everyone has different things to offer me to help me stick to the plan, to not get bored, and to not get discouraged. I started the plan last April, I have lost 58 pounds. I did not lose much in Dec-Feb because I deviated from the plan during the holidays, birthdays, friends in town, etc. However, I did maintain my weight and I didn't gain! So, that's a blessing. I'm in it for the long run. I've learned a whole new way of living and looking at food. To the people who are being really negative, I'm sorry you've not been successful with the program. Maybe you're not ready; maybe you're not sick and tired of being sick and tired like I was. My doctor really scared me at my last visit which brought me in. He said I would be diabetic and on cholesterol and blood pressure meds if I didn't lose weight. I do have PCOS which does make it hard to lose weight, more so than others. I have been feeling so much better than ever! I can walk/jog for two miles, and enjoy playing with my daughter without getting out of breath! The products are incredible. They were essential to help me lose weight. I have not cheated at all with anything sweet because the snacks are very satisfying. There are days when I am a little hungrier than others, but I would say 95% of the time I am very comfortable. They do not want you hungry, so they will allow you an extra raw veggie at night or something to make you feel comfy. The program offers vitamins, a wonderful energy drink, delicious supplements, and counseling. The special offers people are bashing are for the counseling only. The supplies are extra. Instead of buying coke, candy bars and chips, you buy their snacks. By doing so, you are killing your cravings but also losing weight. It is worth every penny. I have gotten many compliments. People cannot believe how much I have lost and how much my skin is glowing. I am sure it is all fat and no muscle because I have even starting exercise because I want to and I have energy to do it! It is not a cheap program, but I believe it is excellent especially for people with some health issues that cannot exercise much (CFS/CFIDS/SEID/ME/Gulf War Syndrome). I could not lose weight and kept gaining and they were able to help me reverse this. It was not easy, but I could not have done it without them. The supplements are an extremely valuable part of the process as are their protein shakes. You can look, but you will not find comparable products for less money. Someone has to pay their support staff, I thought it was fair and will probably do it again (as I am gaining the weight back slowly but surely). Also, I felt good eating the way they taught me. I "wish" I had read the reviews on YELP before signing up as I have experienced the same thing as these 2 ladies and was suckered into the place by the $30 for 30 days ad they run and it is a giant joke!!! in 1 week I've spent over $1,000.00 and all the staff cares about is getting you to spend more and more money and I think a better ad campaign would be "Millionaires are Welcome as that's what we really charge!! Only the rich need come!!" They conveniently forget to tell you that they want you buy all this packaged foods that cost a fortune! Everything is super overpriced and the staff super rude, extremely unhelpful and the program is next to impossible to follow and mind you I run 2 companies and I consider myself pretty smart and even I can't figure out the program!! One has to go into this place nearly every day in the first phase and they are incredibly RUDE...they don't offer any encouragement at all and act as if you are doing them a favor and obviously my $1K keeps them all employed and they are probably snickering..."there's another sucker we got...". I think they should be shutdown as it is total false advertisement and just the worst! Everything these 2 ladies said before me is soon true! It is the hardest weight loss program ever to follow and here my girlfriend signed up for Nutri-System and she's spending $400 bucks per month and all her food is shipped to her...she doesn't spend 1 penny more a the grocery store! With this program not only have I spent $1K in 1 week...I've had to go to Publix nearly every other day to get the ingredients I'm missing oh and let's not forget they want you eating all raw veggies the first phase! Has anyone ever tried to eat raw broccoli and zucchini...or eat salad without any oil on it? OMG!! Worst program I've ever been involved in and here I travel for business and they are telling me I need to bring all this packaged food on the plane with me. I purchased a membership for A LOT OF MONEY and complied with the program, meeting my goal and then going back on plan when I gained a few pounds. The supplements are EXPENSIVE and I had a lot of life changes - illness, death in the family and wasn't able to go in. I've been to 3 different centers and I experienced the same rudeness, being chastised by staff and NO positive reinforcement for significant weight loss between visits. I am reporting them to the Attorney General's office for "Bait and Switch" tactics and am probably going to get an attorney. I purchased a "platinum" program and have been repeatedly harassed and told I need to buy "more weeks" - when the original contract that I signed was for life long weight loss services. Please take my advice and do not give them any of your money. Try just eating less and exercising. read more

What an awful experience. A friend loved this program so I wanted to check it out I walked in from the gym in workout clothes. Laurie leaned over the counter and stared me up and down to the point of making me squirm I actually asked her what she was looking at She proceeded to tell me I looked fit but she needed to make sure my BMI was high enough Anyone that knows anything about body mass knows that's a very invalid measure particularly someone with any muscle That wasn't the worst part She proceeded to read from the flip chart insisting that their supplements were the only ones that worked even though I had my own at home She then asked me if I had a husband And "did he know I was here?" I think what she wanted to know was if I had support in my environment to Do a diet. Then ask me that!! I then asked her about a typical day and she told me eggs and toast for breakfast I asked the price and she told me is was $599 at 50% off. I said you mean this program is $1200 To lose 10 lbs. she said yes Here was the clincher I asked her if I could have oil on my salad and she said no When I said it was too expensive for me and started to leave she said and I quote " good luck with the oil" Please get someone in to train your staff how to communicate with customers I can help with that if you are so inclined ! My girl friend and i joined QWL 8 months ago. In that time, I lost 63 lbs. and reached goal, while my honey has lost 53 lbs. Yes, the program is very expensive but it works. We try to follow it religiously; some times we slip but one of the reasons for our success is the counselors. Carol is terrific. Even when we slip, she encourages us and makes the necessary changes in the program so we lose the next time we go on the scale. She is never demeaning but encouraging. I LOVE this program and love the Boca location! I have had nothing but kindness and compassion from the counselors. You are going to pay $ on any plan. I wanted a plan that worked and I found it! There is a plan for everyone and this one helped me. I have a complicated medical history. The counselors in Boca, especially Patty, Seth and Lynn are fabulous. They held my hand through the process.. I needed tweaking to my plan almost every day but they were there for me. I lost 55 lbs and 44 1/2 inches. It helped that Seth and Lynn had medical backgrounds. They knew and understood I wasn't a typical case. Patty, the location director keeps everything running smoothly and has quite a medical knowledge herself. The location is clean and the people I have met who have been going there have ALL said they are quite happy with the results. While not every plan works for every person, I have tried many plans. The philosophies behind this one really work. I am living proof.. I went from a size 14 to a 4 (with a couple two's to show off too). I am now on maintenance and continue to go there at least a couple times a week. I also continue to have medical problems and they are still by my side helping me cope so I don't gain weight back.
