Thank you to Jesse @ Street Motive. Around 10 our car suddenly started coasting on I-80. No response to the gas pedal. We were able to pull over but our car was dead. Prior to getting towed, I called around to local mechanics in Grand Island. Street Motive was my third call and they were the only one that had a competent agent on the phone, Jesse. From the start of my call, Jesse managed our expectations and welcomed us in. He knew we were in a bind and kept us calm. I recently bought my "new to me" car from Mr. Jackson, and it absolutely did not go to plan. My plan was buy car, drive car home, and be happy with the car. How much can you really learn about a company when such a simple plan goes off with out a hitch? Probably not much.... sure I could have told you how nice they are, I could have told you how efficient they are, I could have told you how easy it is to talk to a human and get information... I could have even told you how they had my car ready to go. Of course my plan did not work. I ended up with a post purchase complication 1500 miles from home. The response to my situation really told me a bunch about Jackson's Car Corner. My issue was a minor problem with a fuel filter....that only showed up after the car was running 70 mph for an hour or so on the interstate...I can't fault the car lot for that. It did however leave me on the side of the road in a different town from Jackson's Car Corner. The owner of Jackson's Car Corner got in his truck and made a two hour round trip drive to rescue me. Then made sure my issue was resolved. Absolute class act. Look bottom line....when you are buying a used car, you know the situation you are in, you know there is going to be warranty limitations if at all, you know the car is used, you know cars can break down...that is life. If you want to buy from a shop that actually cares about you, cares about your situation, and wants to do right by you....then absolutely consider Jackson's Car Corner. It looked as though the help ate their lunch in my car. Drinks spilt down the door panels front and back. A drink spilt and dried on my leather seat in the back. Cigarette ashes on the console around gear shift(I don't smoke). And a lot of gravel, small stones on the driver side floor. The hood had a lot of oil, grease stains. They didn't clean anything after their work. I asked the owner, manager call me, never heard from them.

We were 1400 of 2400 miles into our summer vacation when we began hearing noises from our Ram 1500…read more It was our Ram's 6th summer trip west to visit Nat'l Parks with our 30 ft travel trailer in tow. We were on Interstate 80 in Nebraska and googled transmission repairs and up popped several transmission shops, but one stood out in Grand Island Nebraska...BG & S Transmissions! We got to the shop Sunday evening and awaited opening at 7AM Monday morning. First, we met Tyler, who commands the front desk. He was very pleasant advising the owners would be in shortly. And Tyler was right! Bill and Brian arrived, checked out our truck and determined it was the rear differential. We agreed to the repair and they ordered the parts via air freight next day delivery. On Tuesday morning most of the parts arrived but the bearings were shipped ground in error and were not due until later that week. Knowing that we were at the start of our vacation, Bill and Brian worked their magic and found the other parts locally and by 5:30 Tuesday our Ram's differential was reassembled and we were on our way to our final destination in UT. This shop is the bomb! They had a parking lot full of other vehicles to work on and put them aside going above and beyond to help us get back on the road quickly. We can not thank the entire team at BG & S Transmissions enough for getting us up and running again and making our Summer 2021 vacation happen.
