Fast, Affordable, Good and Clean Enough for a Cut. You know how hard it is on a cut - you get sick of all the chicken breast, greek yogurt, but eating out is almost impossible. I've been here twice, and I think it's a very fast, affordable, tasty and pretty clean option for those cutting. First time I came, dude in front of me was clearly also either maintaining or cutting, and he gave me the low down. I ordered to his advice, and it's solid. I get the chicken and shrimp teryaki, no rice all vegetables, and decline the extra scoop of teryaki sauce and the cup of mayonnaise sauce they offer. I do put a bit of their hot sauce package on the veg. I went ahead and measured my meal today. This is all short order cooked, so they aren't measuring the portions or anything; there's going to be variations, but in my meal I got 2.6 oz shrimp, 6 oz chicken, and a 12.8 oz veg. The veg is a pretty even mix of cabbage, brocooli, and carrot. They grill the veg really well - it's not crispy raw, but also not wilted to death; almost an al dante. I'm really not a cabbage guy, but I enjoy eating this cabbage. I swagged the whole thing as 660kcal/61g which may be a little conservative, but I'd rather overestimate cals and underestimate protein than the other way around. They DO grill in oil, so it's not going to be as clean as making at home on the gas grill, but still wildly better than 99% other quick options. They are so fast there there's no point to calling ahead - I've been here twice and each time waited about 60 seconds for my food. Everything is packaged to go, but they have plenty of seats to sit down at. Very affordable. I'm stroked to have a clean food option while I'm on the road, and one that's super fast and affordable. Quickway is my go to when I want to eat something fast, but not processed food. I usually get the Shrimp, Rice and veggies combo. Average price for a meal is about $12, not bad compared to most fast food restaurants near the area are around the same price. read more

I'd been craving some type of Asian food, and Japanese hibachi was the perfect fix. This was my first ever visit to Quickway, though I've had several opportunities before to try it. Placing the order was easy and the food didn't take long at all (hence the restaurant name). I didn't take any pictures inside but it was spacious and a nice seating area for patrons. The food is done quickly and ready when they say. It is located near the Columbia Mall but parking in front is a little tough since its only about 7 parallel parking spots and then you would have to park in the main parking lot. That wouldn't be bad but the road is kind of busy so beware. The main problem was the blandness of the food. I have had way better hibachi, I hope that it isn't a reflection on all of the Quickway locations. read more

The Only Review You Need To Read We decided to try this place, so we got the Hibachi chicken, white rice with no vegetables (I'm an adult, so I don't have to eat vegetables if I don't want to) and a chicken Benito box. We both agreed - the food lacked flavor. The spring rolls were crunchy, but blah, the sushi tasted like nothing (and didn't come with any wasabi or ginger) and the teriyaki sauce was non-existent - even though I asked the guy behind the counter to pour some extra sauce over it. Thankfully I had my own bottle of teriyaki sauce because the chicken & rice really needed it. We'd be willing to try this place again, maybe for one their sushi rolls because they look interesting. But based on this visit, it's not worth driving past Sarku Japan at the mall for this place. read more

This location must have just opened within the last week or two. They have a big banner that says Grand Opening. I found it odd that their webpage is not in English. I had to peruse the main website to look at the general menu. I have never been to a Quickway so was excited to try it when I saw that they were now open. When my husband and I arrived, there were several patrons waiting on their orders. The ordering process was easy, but when I inquired about the loyalty program the employee had trouble hearing or understanding me so I pulled it up on my phone. From what I could make out of what she was saying, the program is currently unavailable. I don't know if it's noisy in the kitchen, wearing the mask, or a language barrier, but another employee raised her voice to understand or hear another patron. It would probably be helpful if they had a microphone for patrons to communicate more effectively. I wasn't paying attention, but my husband said there was a microphone for the staff to call out orders for pick up. For my order, I decided on the bento box with chicken, beef, and fried rice. My husband ordered the hibachi shrimp and beef combo with fried rice. It took about twelve minutes before we got our order. My husband said it looked good when he grabbed our order. My bento box came with two spring rolls, two dumplings, four California Rolls, mixed veggies, fried rice, and hibachi chicken/beef. I have tried California Rolls in the past and wasn't a fan, but decided to give it another try. To my surprise, I actually liked it. It tasted better than I remembered. I would have it again. Between the dumplings and spring rolls, I liked the spring rolls more. The fried rice was just average and a bit bland. Next time I'll ask for teriyaki sauce on it. The beef was dry, but the chicken was cooked perfectly - moist and flavorful. For future visits, I plan to just stick with the chicken. Each order comes with a ramekin of yummy sauce. For additional yummy sauce, it's fifty cents. My husband raved about the food and liked it better than other Asian restaurants we go to. He also liked that we paid a quarter of the price of what it would have cost at a formal sit down hibachi restaurant. read more

I come to this location by my house because my daughter enjoys the California rolls. The service is always fast. Even when there is a line you don't have to worry about much of a wait. I have gotten the hibachi chicken, steak, and shrimp a few times. Usually pretty good but sometimes can be a little undercooked for my taste so I usually ask them to cook it well done. Prices are around 10 per meal without a drink. I usually get my food to go because the dining area isn't very comfortable and not cleaned thoroughly. read more

As their names states, it's a good place to get a quick hibachi dinner. It is pretty standard, comparable to like Sarku at mall food courts. We got a salmon and shrimp and chicken hibachi dinners. Both were good, and fairly priced at $7 for chicken and $9 for salmon and shrimp. With the BOGO coupon, was an amazing deal of 2 dinners for $9. They are currently doing carry out only. 1/24/21 update - This was our second visit, and the entrees we tried this time were salmon and tofu hibachis with noodles and mixed vegetables. Salmon hibachi for $7.95 was good, but sliced thin like deli meat so you might still be hungry. Tofu hibachi for $6.95 was plentiful, but tasted bland even though sauce was added. It's a solid chain restaurant. My husband had one by his work and was thrilled to have one close to home now since he has been working from home. It's never bad, it's never the best thing you've ever eaten. Noodle or rice, vegetables and choice of meet. Decent portions for how cheap it is. My husband likes their hibachi chicken entree and although I enjoyed their salmon poke bowl I felt like the serving size is rather small for the price. Most poke spots I go to will give a bigger portion than Quickway and I paid extra for tuna add on and I only got three pieces. read more

The full name should be "Quickway to Make a Buck"! There is no point to ordering "extra" protein, they give you the same amount and charge you over $2. I am not excepting an insane amount more here... just scoop more, even half a scoop more, in the container that says "extra" than the other container, which doesn't say "extra", I am getting. What has happened to customer service? When I physically point out that the container with "extra" on it has the same amount as my "non-extra" container the normal thing would be to just throw some extra on there and move on. Pretty typical hibachi spot. I would say it's a tad better than Sarku Japan. I got the chicken & shrimp with noodle and the portions were generous but there was definitely more chicken than shrimp in my box. The location of the restaurant is a little tricky to find. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back if I was craving hibachi. read more

The service was okay, but the food was not. I ordered no veggies, but got veggies. I have food allergies and need to keep an eye on what I eat, such as mushrooms (which was in the veggies.) I came back to return my food, and watched the manager pick out the meat with tongs, drop it on the hot plate, throw out the veggies/rice, and reuse the meat that I was served. The beef was extremely salty. When mixed with the rice (which was also loaded with salt) it became unedible. The veggies, potsticker, and spring rolls were great. This is the only reason they got 2 stars. Also, I had to wipe down my own table. My husbands chicken was good. When I told them about the beef, I was told it is what it is. There was no refunds.
