    Red Monster Roll with jalapeno

A group and I can't here after a nice workout close by. It's a lot smaller on the inside then pictures show and I was surprised. There was maybe about a total of eight tables. I was a little skeptical with ordering sushi from such a small establishment but seeing I'll try something limited in the area we decided to stay and give it a try. The order salad, calamari, and miso soup for appetizers. Rolls that were ordered ranged from the Red Monster Roll to salmon rolls. Service was nice and we were given cinnamon tea at the end by one of the chefs. We were surprised to find it cold but somehow it definitely worked. I'm even thinking about incorporating cold cinnamon tea as a summer drink.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It has a small yet intimate dining area. I enjoyed the lunch special with a friend. There were plenty of lunch options to choose from. The service was quick and courteous. I look forward to eating here again soon.

Sushi is always good, great polite and professional service with a casual atmosphere and ambience................................

This is the sushi we got. Look like someone ate out of it or the chef cannot even cut the raw fish. If the chef cannot cut the fish, I would not trust them preparing the food. I don't want food poisoning.

small restaurant but great food and great hospitality! Would come again. wished they had more individual nigiri options but they do have sushi+nigiri dinner sets

Lunch Special: 2 rolls (California Roll and Salmon Avocado Roll) and 5 piece nigiri (eel, crab salad, salmon, red snapper, tuna)

Awesome Lunch Specials that are also available on Saturdays! They have various options for 2 or 3 rolls for $9.50 and $13.50 or combos of rolls and your choice of nigiri for $13.50 and they all come with miso soup! I got the 2 rolls and 5 piece nigiri for $13.50. I ordered California Roll and Salmon Avocado Roll and 5 piece nigiri: eel, crab salad, salmon, red snapper, tuna. Overall, good sushi for the price and definitely recommend it for an affordable sushi option! Ordering online and pick up was quick and easy, they were also offering 10% off for online orders through the website.

Our first time here and we will definitely be back! We loved it! The service was great - even with the COVID setbacks. Pricing wasn't bad either! Gyoza was warm and had a nice crunch. The Yaki Maki roll and Crab Cake Tempura rolls were our favorite! We will definitely order these again. We always order a California roll as a safety net, and I personally love the Maryland (sometimes known as Baltimore) roll. This wasn't our favorite California roll ever, but it was decent. The Yummy Yummy roll was ok. Perhaps it would be better dine-in. Spicy mayo is an additional $50 and very good! We were able to place the order and pay through the Yelp app - gratuity included! We also saved 10% with the code that can be found in their updates! Overall a great spot! Highly recommend!

    Spicy Kimchi Soup

This place was a little tough to find. It's in the Harris Teeter shopping center, by the subway. I met a friend here. I ordered the spicy kimchi ramen and the GaZa roll. The ramen noodles were a bit over cooked, but they bring you a heaping bowl. The GaZa roll was supposed to be tuna and it was white fish. They also bring a dish of edamame as their "bread" basket. Service was good. Price for 1 ramen and 1 sushi roll was $29.

I'm not usually a delivery kinda gal - I like to either dine in or pick up myself, but it was the middle of a workday between meetings and couldn't make the time. Wanted to support a new biz and saw tons of love for Sushi Nari on Yelp and GrubHub, so decided to go for it! Their ordering system was easy to navigate, with descriptions of the rolls included and modifications (like extra cream cheese, avocado) available. I was hoping to snag a lunch special, i.e. 2 rolls for $xyz, but saw that they only have these for direct orders on their website for takeout only. I opted for two traditional rolls (Spicy Tuna and Philly) and a specialty house roll (Crunch Spicy Salmon) because what can I say? I'm an equal opportunity foodie. Delivery arrived on time and packaged neatly. First bite and I was impressed! The rice is sticky, soft and fluffy, so there was a lot of 'volume' in every bite. It made the traditional rolls feel enough, which is usually not the norm at sushi restaurants. The salmon inside the spicy salmon roll was really fresh as well. Lots of crunch for sure. Would definitely consider ordering again, but directly from the biz for pickup. Sushi is definitely a high cost meal already, plus the added delivery fees really sent it over the top.

Nice tiny place. Maybe 8 tables. Good lunch specials. Will come back when I am in the area.

How does the lunch special work on Saturdays? It states it runs Saturdays 12-3pm (per their online ordering app) but they're not open until 3pm on Saturdays? 🧐 🤔?

Dine-in are not available until 3 pm on Saturday but take out or delivery order from Doordash, Uber Eat and Grabhub are available.

Is it all you can eat?

Yes, we were inundated with menus, and I believe we ordered an item from each one.. Lol! We sat at the bar, so service was immediate. The bartender was super engaging and you can tell he loved his job. He was extremely knowledgeable on all the menus which we found impressive! Everything we ordered was very good. For appetizers we had raw oysters and calamari. For entrees we went with the Halibut and the Beef Short Rib. Again, all tasty! The drinks were also made to perfection. If I lived closer to Columbia, this restaurant would be in my regular rotation. Unfortunately I don't and The Collective Offshore isn't the type of restaurant I'd routinely drive 45 miles for :(. Tried Offshore Collective again recently, and here was my experience…read more I got a young white dude for a waiter who didn't know much about the menu or what was what with the food he was also sloooooow and I think he only had 3 tables. It took 20 minutes to get 2 beers brought to my tables I ended up having to go get the waiter ask if my beers were ready and when we asked for crackers or bread, he told me that he couldn't bring it unless he charged $$$ me for it. Now that is ridiculous. I've never been charged for bread or even just crackers or something to nibble on while you order and wait for your food, but they have decided here that they're gonna start charging for that. Ridiculous!!!!!! and it started out the evening by pissing me off. So after I actually went to the bar to get my own drink, cause I got tired of waiting the guy..... he finally took our order and I ordered a beet salad thinking it had some kind of dressing with a little ranch on the side. Well, I got a salad with no dressing with a little dipper for ranch dressing and had to order regular dressing in addition. I think this was probably the dumb waiter fault for not making it clear to the kitchen that I wanted the salad with the dressing and a little ranch on the side. So blaming him... Second of all, my Date ordered the cauliflower steak, NOTE: couple of big problems. First of all you couldn't cut it with the butter knife that they gave you so it was pretty close to raw versus cooked and so she was trying to saw through it multiple times. When she did get a bite, it was SO OVER SPICY that It burned her tongue off and she ended up only being able to eat 1/2 of her entrée because it was so spicy so that was a bummer. ( not great if you're on a date, ) and I ordered the spaghetti and clams, there were a total of 4 clams in the whole dish, a bunch of chopped canned clams and only enough spaghetti to feed a 5 year-old also ......... it was very small, not very much flavor and for $27 I expected more. So overall, it was kind of disappointing as you can see and for that reason I don't think I'll be going bad and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else because it doesn't seem like they're on the game for the prices they charge. You guys need to pick it up a big notch ...... make your entrées worth eating or buying and improve your service. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Menus and drink orders were brought promptly. I chose the fish tacos, and our server - Casey - asked if I wanted the fish pan seared or blackened. We had a discussion over how many chips and salsa were served with it, because my friend wanted some with his veggie burger. We learned that the amount with an entrée is just right - about two handfuls - so we each had some, with my friend's being a substitution for fries. I almost can't find the words to describe those tacos! The fish was moist, perfectly seasoned and generously heaped in each taco. Often, tacos lean heavily on the veg elements but these had just the right amount of slaw. The flavor of the fish was so delicate and savory. Honestly, one taco was all I could manage. Although they were street taco sized, it was so filling. I only ate a handful of chips; they were good but nothing special, as was the tiny cup of salsa. My friend said his veggie burger was excellent, and he enjoyed the bit of chips and salsa as well. He just had water, while I tried a Corona NA. The bill was around $56, which is very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the shopping center. Great service, good prices, excellent food - I'll go back!

When it comes to what I ordered, the cucumber cups were ok, and the fish I got was well cooked and what I ordered, but there was nothing fun about it. Long story short, I don't jump to go back, but if someone suggests it, I'm not upset. I'll just make sure to order something different and take the whole muffin basket for myself.

Yesterday, I specifically ordered female crabs, but when I got home, I discovered that I had been given male crabs instead. To make matters worse, the crabs were mushy and tasted spoiled. They were not edible, so I threw them away because I wasn't going to let bad seafood sit in my trash and stink up my home. When I called this morning to explain what happened, instead of listening and trying to resolve the issue, the employee I spoke with became argumentative and dismissive. This isn't the first time I've experienced his attitude. He is consistently rude, unprofessional, and seems more interested in arguing with customers than providing good customer service. I've purchased crabs from Hard Shell many times over the years and have never had a bad batch until now. This experience was extremely disappointing, not only because I wasted my money but also because of the way I was treated when I called to report the problem. I hope you will address both the quality of the seafood and the customer service being provided. Loyal customers deserve to be treated with respect, and I believe your business would benefit from having employees who are friendly, professional, and focused on resolving customer concerns instead of creating conflict. Took a good friend of mine here to celebrate her birthday. This evening that had a really nice pre-fix menu called The Vines and Vibes dinner series in which you get 3 courses and wine pairings for $65 pp. Which was a really great deal. We also ordered a plethora of appetizers to share amongst the table. We had the hummus trio , charred octopus, summer heirloom tomatoes, zucchini fritters and the charred octopus. All of the appetizers were very good. The zucchini fritters were so good, we ordered a second order. For dinner pretty much everyone did the cast iron short rib with the puff pasty. That was basically Sunday dinner in a pan. The short rib was nice and tender and the flaky puff pasty to soak up the gravy. Very delicious. For my first course I opted for the ceasar salad, something told me to get that yellow tomato gazpacho. Two of my friends had gotten it and they said it was phenomenal. The birthday girl got the Bouillabaisse with the Chilean sea bass. She said that was absolutely delicious. The Chilean sea bass was cooked nicely and had a buttery taste. And for dessert we did the orange tres leche cake and the chocolate mousse. Both desserts were really good. The tres leche cake was really good and if you mix it with the chocolate mousse even better. This place offers so many options for dinner, from their weekly specials, where you get 50 percent off any bottle of wine on Mondays, bubbles and boards on Wednesdays, Thursdays they have a nice to go special, where you can pizza and a nice bottle of wine to go. Now who doesn't like that for a Thursday night. They also have a great happy hour as well . This place is great for a date night, girls dinner or just a nice night out to have a great dinner and listen to live music. I will definitely be returning either for dinner or brunch. Also I did want to give a tidbit about parking. It can get a lil crowded especially in the evenings and if there is an event going on at Merriweather Post, it's best to utilize their valet parking for an additional $10 fee. It definitely beats the headache if trying to find parking. SYOY
