Remember to always triple check your paperwork; they get busy, and there will always be a correction or two to make before sending payments and finalizing the BEO. This happened multiple times, so please read every single word every single time a new BEO is sent before signing. She's very quick with responding to emails as well! Justin is fantastic for room blocks and I can tell he loves his job, he was also quite quick and responsive! Charlie is fabulous for florals and decorations, he made sure to keep my boquet redacted in emails, since my mother and fiance wanted the design to be a complete surprise for me, he's the best of the best! Overall, if budgeted properly and planned for spending more than your initial budget with essential add ons, Disney is a great choice for a destination wedding. Make sure to ask all of the details questions because they will also help you with the price. On site, all of the coordinators were really on top of things they even prevented what could've been a great mishap when I started to walk out to lineup for the wedding Pavilion, but my Groom was an out debt and they prevented me from walking out so that he wouldn't see me, everything ran on time and was like a well oiled machine, people attended to our every need as if we were a real life, Prince and princess, Riding in the Cinderella's Coach was truly a dream come true an absolutely worth all of it My husband and I kept talking about how we couldn't believe how great the wedding was going and how much fun everyone was having and that it was all running smoothly and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you so much!

I would strongly caution anyone considering Fairy Tales and Wedding Bells for their wedding or…read moreevent coordination. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. The owner, Michelle, spoke disrespectfully not only to members of my bridal party, but also to members of my vendor team, Disney coordinators, and even members of her own staff. I was later informed by several individuals that her communication style toward her own team was often condescending and demeaning. It took some time for these concerns to fully come to my attention because many people intentionally chose not to burden me with the stress while I was enjoying newlywed marital bliss. On top of that, multiple personal items of mine were misplaced, and several items included in my BEO were completely missed because their checklist was not properly completed or verified. These were important details that should have been carefully managed, especially for such a significant event. What was even more upsetting was the way concerns were handled afterward. Rather than taking accountability or working toward a professional resolution, the response from the owner was to silence me by removing me from the Facebook group she claims to own. It became very clear that when someone raises concerns or speaks negatively about her services, they are simply removed instead of being heard. A wedding vendor should bring professionalism, accountability, and support during one of the most important moments of your life. Sadly, that was not my experience here. I highly recommend future brides and couples do extensive research before hiring this company.

Starting the wedding planning process can feel daunting, magical, overwhelming, and exciting all at…read morethe same time. My advice to any couple starting their wedding planning journey would be to start with selecting your wedding planner and I could not sing my praises highly enough for the Blue Ribbon Weddings team. Trusting your vendors is incredibly important and investing in those you trust will make all the difference. When you're in the hands of Katie and her team you will have nothing to fret from the get-go. I thank my lucky stars that I had heard about Katie and her team through the grapevine and knew that if we needed anything for our wedding day, it was her as our planner. Many people speak highly of her team's organization, communication, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, eye for design, and the list goes on. I had the pleasure of working most closely with Katie and Em - and boy, was everyone right. Not only did they live up to these qualities, Katie and Em surpassed their shining reputation by leaps and bounds. By the time our wedding day came along, we knew if anything unpreventable happened or if even the tiniest detail was slightly askew, Katie and Em would be there to make things right or even better than we planned for. Over our almost two year engagement, they stayed engaged with me, learning as much as possible about my now-husband and I to ensure our day was personalized to our style, preferences, and priorities. I am a perfectionist and was thinking about small details very early on - from the style and design of reserved seating signs to fitting many specific moments into our timeline (like hiding with my maid of honor before the ceremony for a few deep breaths, pouring champagne into a champagne tower for the perfect photo-op, or having a moment to sneak away and make an entrance into the cocktail hour). Not a single detail was missed and she heard every single one of our wishes with eagerness to make our day our dream come true. I cannot fail to mention how Katie and Em circled a coffee table with countless shades of blush, ivory, and sand-colored linens seeing how the fabrics looked in different light and from different angles. I laugh at this memory a bit now but cherish how they took the task just as seriously as I did because they knew how important a small detail like this was to me. Beyond wedding planning checklists, Katie went above and beyond in many other ways that we began to call her our fairy godmother. From ensuring I had a pair of sweatpants to hide from the drizzling rain after my spray tan, providing the best advise on wedding etiquette, to celebrating a job over and move states away during the planning process, Katie knows how to make every moment matter, is there by your side, and even 10 steps ahead. I found myself feeling as though I gained friends in the process, not just a husband. After accepting a job in another state, many people asked how we would plan our wedding from afar. Thankfully, this was not a worry for us. I did not carry a single doubt that Katie and Em would ensure the process was seamless - and our in-person planning turned virtual (pre-COVID) and they handled the new situation with ease and never missed a beat. While I spent many hours dreaming up details I wanted to personalized and focusing on personal items, Katie and Em elevated our vision and made it more than we could ever dream up. I confidently tell everyone I know (and even those that I don't - haha) that choosing Blue Ribbon Weddings would be the best decision they could make for their wedding planning process. Being able to peacefully sleep the night before our wedding was never something I had to worry about until I laid in bed the evening before - I have Katie and Em to thank for this and every single teensy tiny detail that was perfectly put in place for us. I cannot recommend Blue Ribbon Weddings enough. I would choose to work with them a million times again with them at the tip-top of our priority list.

Recently, Lorraine informed us that she had lost the lease to the contracted venue due to issues with other building tenants. At first, she suggested an alternative location, which we agreed to. Weeks later, she would not confirm the arrangements at that location and then attempted to force us to hold our reception at another venue in a different city, several miles farther away from the original location, without our approval. We rightfully declined and requested a refund of our deposit. She refused, claiming in email, it is within her rights to move or transfer the venue to any place legally based on her DBA. After consulting an attorney, we have been advised she is in breach of contract, as the original location was a material and central part of the contract. She should not be able to move the location without consent from her clients - namely us. In our opinion, this business practice is unethical, unprofessional, and deeply unfair to anyone who trusts her with their special events. We caution anyone considering this company to think twice and protect yourself by consulting an attorney before signing anything to avoid being faced with a similar situation. We are sharing our experience so that others are fully informed before making such an important decision. We all deserve better than to be strung along, displaced, and denied refunds when a vendor cannot deliver the contracted service.

We had Deirdre and from our first meeting with her she didn't have any wedding ideas or visions. She basically went through a timeline and asked a bunch of questions, most of which we couldn't answer because my daughter has never had a wedding before. We hired a planner to do just that, help plan and guide us. We had a bad feeling about Deirdre and contacted Blush hoping they would give us someone else. They stood behind her. I wish we pushed it because our concerns showed up on the wedding day. Deirdre was hardly around at all during the entire wedding. Apparently she had an assistant whom we never met or saw. There should have been three people from Blush for a large wedding. We communicated to her that the couple wanted to attend the cocktail party doing photos before so that could happen. Deirdre escorted them to a room for a private cocktail time, which was nice, however she never went back to get them. They finally left on their own with little time to visit with guests. My daughter kept looking over her shoulder for Deirdre, as she witnessed during her friends weddings their planners were at the brides hip most of the time. During the ceremony she wasn't behind the bride to fix her dress before walking down the aisle. It was off to the side for the pictures. Worst bride nightmare! After picking out a perfect train and veil to have it crumbled up walking down the aisle. She also didn't come the rehearsal so Blush should have replaced her then with the planner who did, as that Is part of the reason things went wrong. Things happen so I understand her not being able to make the rehearsal, however there should have been someone at the wedding who did make it to the rehearsal. This totally falls on Blush. Deirdre gave the band and the DJ the wrong opening songs. We were never introduced to the catering manager, which I shouldn't have needed, but our table was out of water and wine during most of dinner and we had to get up and find a server because I couldn't find Deirdre. She should have pointed out the host table to the manager at least. The cake was cut and served on a side table but she didn't tell the band to announce it so the majority of the cake went to waste. We extended the after party and the bus to take people back to the hotel's till 12:45. At 11:30 she announced the LAST bus was leaving so people panicked and left. She was in charge of getting the card box to my car, however the box was a little small and some cards were left on the table. There are a handful of cards guests left that never made it back to us. BLUSH single handedly ruined much of the wedding that took over a year to plan, not to mention the expense. You rely on wedding planners to help make your dream wedding a reality, not to be stressed the day of and very disappointed. I called and left a message with Brandee a couple of days ago asking to return my call, but I haven't heard back yet.

Vegan Halloween Wedding - Absolutely hit it out of the park!…read more My brother enlisted me to help him find a vegan caterer for his Wedding on Halloween and I'm so grateful I found Arthur's. I had reached out to a couple of caterers in the area prior with the only requirement being the food had to be 100% vegan (very important to my brother and his bride). Every other caterer I spoke to pushed back on this and tried to get us to consider at least vegetarian (I think it might have been because they were intimidated by planning that type of menu?) but not Arthur's. Patty was our coordinator and she was a delight to work with - responsive, accommodating and put our minds at ease. The food itself was phenomenal! During cocktail hour there was a harvest table with all kinds of dips, roasted veggies, and a vegan sausage. They also had passed h'orderves which included a falafel, polenta cake and spring rolls which were to die for! The staff kept the plates coming so guests were never without something to munch on while enjoying drinks. At dinner there were 3 stations: 1.) americana/BBQ (buffalo cauliflower, jackfruit sliders, mac and "cheese", collard greens) 2.) Wok/Stir fry (tofu, rice, veggies, spicy sauce) 3.) Italian (eggplant rolitini, creamy veggie pasta, rolls) And then there was a late night snack! mini black bean burgers to satisfy the late night dancing and drinking craving. Needless to say no one went hungry and while this was a fully vegan menu there were only about 7 actual vegans at the whole wedding, yet the entire guest list raved about the menu. I can't recommend Arthur's highly enough. Thank you to Patty and her staff for an amazing night and for making my brother's wedding so delicious and so special!

Although we found the…read moreperfect venue which happened to be on a beach, I still wanted a glamorous semi-formal Disney Princess-type of wedding. We live on the East coast of FL so having a wedding in Bradenton Beach was a destination wedding for us and although I had accomplished some things on my own, I knew I would need more help. I described what type of wedding I was imagining to our venue wedding coordinator and he pointed me to Priscila of My Storybook Party. I spoke to Priscila and the rest was history. She listens so well, is extremely organized, has many fantastic ideas, is kind, and truly cares about her brides (and grooms!). I don't know what I would have done without her. We traveled out to Sarasota at least 3 different times in the months leading up to the wedding and she would always coordinate appointments and meet or even drive us around the entire weekend. Yes, you read that right - she was with us the ENTIRE weekend from early in the morning until it got dark and that's in addition to spending hours with me on the phone. On to hair and makeup. Some would call me 'high maintenance' but hey, I know what I like. I have long curly hair that I'm used to spending 2-3hours washing, straightening then curling myself on an almost daily basis. I am also accustomed to spending around an hour doing my own makeup so a VERY good makeup and hair stylist were important to me and Priscila understood that. She found a lady that had at least like 15 years of experience in the wedding hair industry and booked me a trial. Initially, I thought I wanted a loose waterfall braid with hair teased at the top so the stylist tried, but she completely rushed through my trial and my hair ended up a frizzy mess. She said she would "practice" the braid since she was rusty and be better on my wedding day. Priscila paid attention, reassured me that I shouldn't just "go with" the stylist and that she would find someone for me because she wanted me to be confident that my hair would be perfect. She spent the next few months - YES MONTHS - searching for the perfect stylist. She called me to tell me she had found the perfect guy for the job and we made another appointment just a few months before my wedding. I sat in his chair and knew he was THE ONE that I could trust with my hair on our wedding day. We booked him and EVERYONE was impressed on our wedding day, but that's another review. Priscila also recommended a great makeup artist near our home on the East Coast that we ended up paying to come across the state for the day of our wedding. Décor - Priscila went out of her way to find rental companies for everything My Storybook Party did not have for rent. She tracked down so much - linens, tables, gold wood chivalry chairs (that would work on the beach), bling chandeliers, a tall chuppah, beaded chuppah curtains, tents, twinkle lights, and plate chargers. She also made sure to work with our venue coordinator to ensure we could get exactly what we wanted despite regulations/preferred vendor requirements/etc. Centerpieces - I looked everywhere and was on Pinterest for days looking for centerpiece ideas. I did not want the typical centerpiece with flowers and FINALLY found the bling pieces I had been looking for. Instead of renting I just bought everything I thought we needed, but we were short two big pieces due to last minute cancellations. Priscila spent hours going over options with me and taking pictures of how each table should be arranged. She also tracked down the last two pieces we needed - beautiful big bling candelabras that matched our other décor. She and her assistants set up the tables for us and broke them down immediately after the wedding. All of our pieces were neatly wrapped and packed in boxes and ready to travel. Every single piece I had was accounted for and unbroken. Day of - Priscila and her assistants ran around all day making sure everything was accounted for and in the right place. She also kept popping to check on me and ensure I was doing okay and everything was on schedule. She kept to a schedule and had every detail accounted for, down to the flip flop stations strategically placed for our guests to take their heels of if they didn't realize we'd be on the beach. The "extra" décor pieces we brought were placed around our reception area beautifully by Priscila. We had orchid strands on each chair on the aisle - she took them down and arranged the orchids around our beautiful cake after the ceremony. Did I mention our cake was just featured on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style? If you're planning a party big or small, call Priscila. She and her team will be right by your side every step of the way and ensure that you're 100% pleased with every single detail, whether you want to be as involved as I was in the process or if you trust her to run with everything. Our wedding was a dream come true & if you call her, yours will be too.

What initially attracted me to Priscila was her calm presence and soft-spoken voice. I was primarily looking to hire someone to keep my daughter relaxed prior to the ceremony, as we have a handful of family members who can be quite stress invoking! What I soon found was that I had hired so much more than a "bride-sitter" and "stress guard". Priscila is focused and driven. She truly knows the wedding business inside and out. I found that she could be firm and authoritative when necessary. While gentle in demeanor, she's no pushover! Priscila was quick to reply to phone calls, email, and text messages. She is full of interesting suggestions - things I never would have thought of. She referred us to several local vendors, who were not only professional, but I found to be very reasonably priced. She gladly intervened with a couple of issues that cropped up last minute, keeping the stress from my daughter. She coordinated with all of our other vendors, and created a master timeline for the entire wedding day. We were able to drop off all of our wedding items with Priscila in Sarasota a week prior to the wedding; so we didn't have to run anything to the venue on the day of. She and her team set up all of our wedding décor for us, and had all of it repacked and in our cars by the time the reception was over. Priscila truly understands that a wedding day is so much more than "just another day". With the timeline in place, there were no worries for any of the bridal party on the day of the wedding. Everyone was notified where they needed to be and at what time, and from there, Priscila and her assistants took over. Our only job on the day of the wedding was to be present. My daughter's wedding day was seamless, allowing everyone to focus on what was truly important - FAMILY! I would only do one thing differently if I had to do it over. I'd hire Priscila to handle to entire affair, instead of just the "month of" coordinating. I now understand that the money that you spend on the right wedding coordinator actually saves you so much in the long run! Thank you, Priscila Radke-Neves and My StoryBook Party! You were a breath of fresh air and felt like family by the time the wedding rolled around. You were a joy to work with!
