I'm extremely disappointed, after reading all the reviews warning me not to go to place, I still wanted to try. I called 5:24 pm and asked if Naj was available today, and she said yes. She said how far are you because i'm closing soon. Now mind you, the closing time listed on Yelp was 7 pm. I then pulled up the address on maps and told her I was 15 mins away, she then said ok, you can come. I then left my job once we hung up and because of the traffic I didn't make it to the shop until 5:55 pm. As I pulled the door knob, I noticed it was locked I saw a lady cleaning up in the back and she never looked my way. I proceeded to call the number listed on the door and the number on yelp, NO ANSWER! I'm extremely disappointed and annoyed. This location is 30 mins from my home and if she was such in a rush to leave she should have told me if I couldn't be there by a certain time not to come. Saying your closing soon can be left for interpretation, that could have meant by 6 pm, 6:30 pm or 7pm. #1. If you're not going to stick to a particular closing time then remove it from you site. #2. Over communicate to your clients. (When she told me she was closing soon, she should have given the timeframe, example 15 mins, 6pm) #3. When I did my my part by calling she should have waited Overall this was not a good first experience, and I would never come back to this establishment. Go at your own risk. read more

If you want great eyebrows and want to waste your time, come to this place! Naj does great eyebrows, but her time management skills and customer service are nonexistent. Don't bother making an appointment because she will never honor it and it's only as good as a walk in. This has happened to me at least three other times. I finally decided to say something today because I was now late to another appointment after waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. What was her response? "You should have gone to your other appointment if you saw people waiting". Oh yeah, because it's so simple to you, huh? & just so it's clear: My issue is not that I have to wait. If I am a walk in, I will kindly wait for my turn in a first come first serve fashion like everyone else. The issue is having to wait for every walk in when I have an appointment. If you're going to schedule an appointment for a customer, it should be prioritized and honored. Don't schedule an appointment if you're not going to honor it. She'll always say you may need to wait 5 or 10 minutes so she can take care of whoever is in the chair. Let me translate what that really means: you have to wait for everyone who is in the lobby to be done even if you have an appointment and they don't Thank you, Naj! I'm glad I finally spoke up so I don't waste another minute or dollar at your establishment. She took my temperature and used a mask entire time. I have searched for someone that understands threading my eyebrows since they aren't Easy and she did. I was on vacation and needed to get my eyebrows done and didn't know where to go so I looked up "eyebrow threading" and this place popped up. After looking at reviews I was still a bit nervous because I'm from out of town and I had let my eyebrows grow out so that I could have a higher arch. Naj listened and asked several questions about how I wanted my eyebrows shaped which I have never had someone be so detailed. After she was done and showed me in the mirror I couldn't believe the amazing work she had done with a simple string of thread. No ripping off of skin like wax that I usually use. Be aware that this place will charge "tax" on any card purchases for services. However, if you pay cash there is no "tax" charged. There are two problems with this: 1) tax is not charged on services. I work in a spa and I get weekly services done multiple places around the country and I've never once been charged "tax" for a service (only on products). 2) even if there was a "tax" then this should be charged for cash purchases as well or else this is considered tax fraud because she probably isn't claiming cash purchases on her taxes. Either way, this place seems unethical for this charge. I'm giving her 2 stars instead of 1 star Only because she did get me in quickly which I appreciated because I was time crunched but it was the worst eyelashes Ive ever had. It was painful because she got glue and remover in my eyes (I didn't open my eyes but I think when she taped down my lashes there was a little bit of a gap which allowed it to go in). She didn't stay in the room while I was sitting with the removal so when it got in my eye It hurt like hell and I had to scream for her to help me. The end result was a bunch of eyelashes going in different directions. I already had eyelashes that till looked ok but the reason I wanted this appointment was because my original lashes were going in different directions so I didn't even fix what I came in for. Currently, My left eye I has hairs from the false lashes digging into my eyelid which is uncomfortable. Even though I told her about it after the service she didn't fix it because she said nothing was wrong but it was because I feel the base of the lashes digging into my eyelid when they shouldn't be and I've never had lashes be uncomfortable after the service I got Mink lashes which are $150 plus $15 removal fee plus "tax" of $10. For $175 I would have expected to leave better than I came in but I was wrong. read more

I usually get my brows threaded about once a month at a place closer to my house in SW Orlando and fill in the gaps on my own with powder while doing my daily makeup. In order to stop the 2nd part of this routine, I wanted to get my brows tinted. However I am severely allergic to henna, so I called to inquire about their eyebrow tinting ingredients. When assured that their eyebrow tint does not contain henna, I scheduled an appointment for threading & tinting. When I arrived on time to my 10 am appointment, the doors were locked and the place was closed... the time listed on the door said noon (although online said 10 am). I waited about 30 minutes for someone to show up. While getting my eyebrows threaded, I once again inquired about the ingredients in the eyebrow tint (emphasizing my severe henna allergy.) The woman assured me that her eyebrow tint is made from plants different from henna. She sounded like she knew what she was talking about because she explained that she used a different dye for her henna tattoo treatments. So I got my eyebrows tinted too. Throughout the day, my brows itched, but I thought nothing of it (that's common after hair removal due to dry/exposed skin). However, I woke up the next morning with my eyes swollen nearly shut, the surrounding skin inflamed red, an itching sensation from my nose to my forehead, my eyebrows protruding a few inches forward, red bumps underneath my brows, & burning/wateriness in my eyes. Essentially, I looked beastly and felt awful. I went to urgent care immediately, where thankfully I received treatment and recovered. The beast-like look remained for about 3 days, during which I had to go to work and felt embarrassed to make eye contact with anyone. However, the skin inflammation persisted for about a month. I did not wear makeup for the following month, instead carrying a small bottle of EVOO to apply as moisturizer to the skin surrounding my eyebrows several times daily. (I googled my symptoms and read an article about the same reaction to a woman in the UK, whose doctor said she could have gone blind if she had waited to seek treatment). Although the woman threaded & shaped my brows well, her misinformation regarding product ingredients cost me much money, pain, humiliation, fear, and compromised my health. Because of this, I would discourage friends from coming here & discourage all from tinting their brows anywhere. read more

The girl who does nails is very rude. Every time I call to try and make an appointment she is never available. Last time I went to get a fill, she did the shape she wanted and charged me for it even though I was clear I wanted it to be square and when I asked why I was being charged, I was told because she thinks it's looks better. I've seen a lot of Google reviews for this business and they were all very positive, so I thought I'd give it a try. Raj is located in the Dominican hair salon in the Dollar General Plaza. When I walked in it was a typical salon. I pointed to my eyebrows and they pointed me to Raj. She got a good look at my eyebrows and told me what she recommended for me (everybody's eyebrows are different). I prefer to keep them as thick as possible and I usually just get them done to clean them up a bit. She really took her time with me and she really knew what she was doing. I made an appointment and I waited while walk ins went before me, on the dirty side, I told her how I wanted my brows and showed her pictures and when I saw them when she was done they were NOT what I told her and my right brow is now much thinner, and when she threaded my left eyebrow she was so careless she sliced my skin cancer mole off, and never apologized, never acknowledged it and never asked if I was ok. Then I still was nice and made an appointment for eyelashes I asked for a time when she wouldn't be too busy or rushed because I didn't want to waste my time waiting for people who didn't make appointments, she told me any time after the next day would be fine because kids go back to school and parents will be working so there won't be many customers during the day. So I made the appointment, she asked for a 30.00 deposit which I gave her. The day of the appointment I came across 4 or 5 other places on groupon the were 30, 50 and even 80.00 cheaper, so I just asked her if she would be willing to price match at all. She got very upset and defensive and started calling me "evil", and evil people like me will be going to "evil hell", I was pretty thrown for a loop to say the least lol. So I said ok, can I just have my deposit back please? And she weirded out again. Bottom line she said No and told me not to go there again because she has "tens of thousands of people who come to" her and she doesn't need "all of these evil people" who say evil things" about her. I started to say ok but I didn't get to finish because she hung up on me when I was speaking lol. I was like, "really lol". Anyway, I started to tell my husband what just happened and the phone rang and it was her "naj". I assumed she was calling me back to be professional and apologize, but instead, she called back to start calling me evil again, lol. I never raised my voice, I never got mad, I just simply asked a question and she went bizzaro. She seemed very nice and sweet when she was doing my brows, which she messed up my eyebrow and injured me when she carelessly sliced a skin cancer mole on my face, so not only did she mess up my face days before a wedding, she was very unprofessional and became pretty psycho and unstable way too easily. There are WAY better technicians than her out there, and they are professional and stable lol read more

Went to Naj a while ago to get my brows done and she suggested eyelash extensions. They were 25$ and only took about 30 minutes so I should have known it would have gone wrong. They looked HORRIBLE and literally gave me an eye infection. When I told Naj about it, she was SO unprofessional and told me that I was lying and that she would not give me a refund. I would be careful trusting her if you decide to go here. Side note- she took my phone out of my hands and gave herself a 5 star rating on my Facebook.
