If you don't pay it or extend it for another 30 days and pay interest again upfront you loose it, once again they will loan you about 25% of it's current value if you are a new client, the more times you pawn, they will most likely loan more... you have to prove yourself worthy! Besides the point, they are out to make money and are not going to give you retail! I thought this was common sense.
