My new favorite place!!! I hope I don't have to go back, but they were awesome, friendly, fast, and Cory let my kiddo hangout with him while he replaced my screen. He walked him through everything he was doing, let him turn some screws, and help in other little ways. I watched the staff take their time with each customer, no matter their questions or concerns. Overall a great place. And also best priced repair in town.

    All fixed!!!

I'm sure there are times that they aren't available that quickly, but I've yet to have a long wait time. Fox came out to my house this most recent visit and helped do some cleaning up of my computer that was moving like a snail. He was very professional and patient with my questions. He also taught me about the things I should consider when selecting my next computer, as I'm due for an upgrade. Pricing has gone up from my first review to $125/hour. I still think it's fair, their service is great, they come to you! I've never felt like they're trying to sell me anything I don't need. I trust them to steer me in the right direction.

That is often what separates a good business from one that truly stands out. A seven-day guarantee may work in theory, but for small business owners like myself, flexibility matters. I operate a transportation service, and my schedule doesn't always allow me to address technical issues within such a narrow window. A 30-day guarantee would reflect an understanding of real-world business pressures and remove unnecessary strain. Although the payment for Greg's services was refunded, that wasn't the outcome I was looking for. I wasn't seeking my money back -- I simply wanted the work completed properly and brought to a clear, final resolution. As it stands today, the matter still feels unfinished. One part that was honestly disconcerting for me is that I've had a very good relationship with your company for nearly 20 years -- essentially since you first started. I remember when you were working out of your living room, and I've genuinely been glad to see how the business has grown over time. What caught me off guard was that the young lady I spoke with had no awareness of who I was or the history I've had with Geeks2You. After hanging up, I felt less like a long-standing client and more like just another name in the system. Loyalty and history matter -- especially in small business relationships. I've valued supporting your company over the years, and I hope that kind of long-term connection still means something on your end as well.

I returned to the store and the technician (I did not get his name) worked diligently to fix the issues and was successful. He ended up replacing the camera part (pictures were blurry after the battery replacement) without charge. Simutek wanted to charge me $150 to replace the battery and instead I paid $75 at GW. I was surprised when they said that they use Apple parts, but my phone detected non-Apple parts. Smart Switch was not installed on the outer screen, so I could not complete the transfer myself. I explained that I needed both phones back by Friday so I could return the old device to Verizon and was told that the data transfer would be done that day. The store notified me that the phones were ready so on July 15, I picked them up. I paid a $30 diagnostic fee and was charged an additional $129 for the data transfer. After seeing that my contacts had transferred, I assumed that all of my data had been transferred. However, once I returned home, I discovered that only my contacts and photos had transferred. None of my apps, Notes, passwords, documents, or other important data had been moved. When I attempted to charge my old phone so I could try to complete the transfer myself, I discovered that my phone would no longer charge. (Prior to leaving it with Gamer's Warehouse, the phone was fully functional aside from the inner screen.) I contacted the store and was told to return at 9am when the store opened so they could complete the transfer by the end of that day. On July 16, I arrived before the 9:00 a.m. opening time but had to wait until approximately 10:15 a.m. before technician Ramsey arrived and opened the store. I explained that I had paid $159 for a service that had not been completed and reminded him that I had to return the phone to Verizon the following day, again asking him again if he would be able to copy my data. If he could not complete the service, I would need my phone back in the same operating condition I had given it to him the day before so that I could find someone else who could complete the service. Ramsey informed me that my phone wouldn't charge because he had removed the battery (without my knowledge or consent) which he stated had "exploded" and somehow caused the inner screen to stop working without affecting the rest of the phone. He could not explain how a supposedly failed battery was consistent with the phone functioning normally before I left it with them, nor could he explain why I was never informed that the battery had been removed before I picked up my phone. He also could not explain why the phone was not returned in the same condition in which I left it. He then told me that a driver had picked up the battery so he did not have a working battery to use in order to complete the data transfer. When I asked why Smart Switch had not simply been used for data transfer if replacing the battery had restored functionality, Ramsey had no explanation. Smartswitch would have easily transferred all of the data within minutes. Ramsey then stated he could still perform the transfer but would first have to attempt to contact whoever picked up the battery and have them return it to the store. Ramsey was becoming increasingly loud, abrasive and agitated. Given that the service I paid for had not been completed, my phone had been returned in a completely inoperable condition and Ramsey was becoming increasingly aggressive during our conversation, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my devices with Gamer's Warehouse and left with both phones. I then went to Verizon. After explaining the situation, the Verizon employees told me the circumstances appeared highly questionable. While at Verizon, I called Gamer's Warehouse on speakerphone to request the return of my battery in case Verizon needed it. Ramsey responded by personally attacking me, making inappropriate remarks, and yelling at/over me throughout the conversation. Rather than addressing any of the above concerns, Ramsey insisted I did not need the battery returned and claimed Verizon would accept the phone return without it. I requested that he notify me when my battery was ready for pickup and ended the call. After witnessing the call, the Verizon employees recommended that I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As a result of my experience with Gamer's Warehouse and Ramsey, I was without a functioning phone for most of the week, paid $159 for a service that was never completed, received my phone back completely inoperable with Ramsey having removed the battery without my knowlege or authorization (theft by conversion) and most importantly, important documents, filings and information going back to 2017 has now been lost forever. This experience is especially disappointing considering I had previously paid Gamer's Warehouse $450 to repair the same phone's inner screen only months earlier, and that "repair" clearly did not last. Never once was I apologized to or offered a refund for the service I never received. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Gamer's Warehouse for any reason. Gamer's Warehouse is unprofessional, the workmanship/service incompetent, and the customer service abusive.
