My phone is more messed up than before my repair I never came back after you supposedly fix my microphone. It's still broken too. I went on a Friday, to gay my back glass replaced. After that my phone would not stay on. Went back on Saturday they changed charging port they broke. Had to go back Monday when I noticed my screen was messed up which it wasn't before. I took my iPhone SE in for a new battery (current battery capacity was at 78%). They replaced it on about 20 minutes, and the rep recommended I reboot the phone. I paid about $90. I rebooted the phone, but began getting messages that the phone was unable to accept the new battery. The battery capacity was at 100%, but shortly after, certain capabilities went away. I'll take the hit this time, and I gave QF an extra star for the speed of service. But I won't be returning to QF for any repairs to any of our devices. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE REPAIRS HERE My IPhone 13 Pro Max had the back glass cracked on the back of this phone. I called this shop and asked for an estimate on having it replaced. They told me $150 and I thought that seamed reasonable so I brought my phone in to have the glass replaced. Later that night when i got hope I took the case off my phone and was examining their work and noticed that the new glass they installed had some small cracks around the camera so I brought it back in. They replaced the glass on my phone again but later I noticed that the speaker on my phone had quit working after there work so once again I was headed to the shop for a 3rd time for more repairs. This time they told me they didn't have the parts so they would need to order them and it would take afterwards days. So I went a few days without being able to place a call on my phone until they could replace. Finally they fixed the speaker but then a coupe days later the battery came loose in my phone "it had never had this issue before". So for the 4th time I brought my phone back into the shop and told them what was going on and the put more adhesive on the battery which lasted only another few days before it came loose again. I can't remember how many times this happened another 3-4 times of going back in the shop to have the re set the battery. The last time I went into the shop I advised the tech that I was moving out of state in a few days and really made it clear that whatever this issue was needed to be taken care of because I wouldn't be able to come back into the shop. He assured me he would make sure the battery wouldn't come loose again. Well literally 5 days later it did come loose. Not long after that my phone started to have all kinds of issue and now it this point my phone quit working all together and wont hold a charge. Now I've been contacting the shop via phone and speaking with one of the shop managers his name is Nic. He seemed to be helpful at first but now he's telling me that "he went through their tickets" and that I was advised by the tech that "the frame in my phone was bent and I should have it replaced" This is 100% a lie. I was never advised by a tech that there was anything wrong with my phone. If there was I would have had them fix it because I've always taken good care of my electronics and have been particular with them. Now I don't know if the tech is lying to Nic or if Nic is lying to me because he just doesn't want to deal with the issue. He keeps giving the excuse that "my brother recently took ownership of the store and we're sorry for any mistakes made on their part". At the end of the day I don't care who owns the store. I used their service and now my phone is not working and nobody there wants to own up and take responsibility to fix the issue. Also if the frame really is bent that means that they bent the frame on my phone because I never ever had any issue with my phone like this previous to bringing it into this shop. The battery never came loose until they "fixed it". I've given these guys many chances to fix my phone and make things right but their customer service is horrible in my experience and their techs do not have the proper skills to fix something as simple as a loose battery that they caused in the first place. I'd save your money and go to a more reputable shop or just take your apple devices and go directly to the Apple Store. Bringing my phone to this shop was a mistake I will not be making again and I hope I can save other a lot of grief by advising you not to work with these guys. They'll ruin your phone and do nothing other then make excuses for themselves and not fix the issue. I brought in my old iPhone 6. Apple wanted $175 to take it apart and fix the charging port. Nick at the Eastside store said he'd take a look at it. He got in there with his compressed air, some cleaning tools, and a little bit of appropriate liquid and 5 minutes later it was fixed. A tiny piece of debris had been lodged in the port, making it difficult to charge. I thought I'd be paying $49 to replace to charging port and waiting for half an hour. Instead, I walked out with a fixed phone, for free--no charge. I asked to pay but Nick just smiled and said don't worry about it. I know where I'm going when my phone needs more substantial repair. These guys know customer service. Damn. read more

If you are in need for a mobile device repair, this is the shop. They actually have three locations, so find the one near or most convenient to you. If you go to their website, www.quikfixphonerepair.com, and you will find their other locations (other than looking here on Yelp) and the full range of their services and how much they charge for repairs for specific devices. You will have no questions on their pricing if you do so. They are quick, competent, and honest. My daughter dropped her phone in the laundry machine. We took it in for repair. $59, a very reasonable price. However, upon opening it up, they found there was actually no internal water damage at all. They sent me a text picture of the water damage markers totally unblemished. He said that the screen needed replacing, which is $106 or so dollars. They would apply the $59 to the screen replacement. Done in 15 minutes. After replacement, the screen would randomly black out once in a while. No problem. One year warranty on the screens. Came back in and it was replaced. Maybe a 20 minute visit. Felt like less time than that. They carry device-related products. I want to get the screen protection they sell, which is a coating. They have an iPhone there on a workbench with a hammer with this coating installed. You can take the hammer and whack it yourself. Not even a scratch. So cool. They also have this custom thin case made out of PC material that just wraps around your phone. I gotta get that, too. Service is friendly and attentive. Their prices are highly competitive. Convenient locations. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Not Good!! The short of the long: This shop is a disappointment, like a beautiful women that you find out smokes, doesn't shave, shower or cut her toenails. They quoted me a very reasonable price, drove across town, arrived, prices inflated to 3x original along with a chain of excuses to justify. I spoke with Danni on the phone about replacing a broken iPad button. I was thrilled because they had the part in stock and said it could be done within the hour. She checked with the techs and quoted me $49-$59 because I had the device taken apart already which saves on labor I went in the shop and the sells manager then said it would be a minimum of $59. He went to the computer and then stated that the part alone is $89 and the labor will be $109! The total quoted was $170-$179. They said they would have to test everything, even though I am competent, have done many repairs in the past and assured them it was the home button. They indicated I could have damaged several components... but if one takes apart an iPad they know that there are only few components even exposed... though I am sure they will deny this. It's a quick inspection of essentially ensuring no ribbon cables are torn. The home button replacement retails $30 from RepairUniverse's website, which includes a video for replacement. It's not complicated when the iPad is already apart like mine was. Other vendors sell the button for $10 They refused to honor their original price and defended their exuberant quote. I am beyond disappointed. I drove from across town based on this quote... no situation or even discount was offered to remedy the situation. A true and genuine bummer. read more
