Incredible. Lifesavers. 100/10…read more I fully submerged my iPhone 6 in water and couldn't fish to out for a full 30 seconds. Tried the rice method but not until a few hours later. The result, not unexpectedly, was disastrous. Half the phone screen turned black, or started pushing buttons itself, or wouldn't respond, or wouldn't turn on, and then, finally, it would just flashed a green screen at me at a nightclub rave tempo. Summary: worst case scenario. It was the weekend and I rely on my phone for personal life and work. I was panicking. I feared not only for my news feed, but for the clients that couldn't get ahold of me bright and early Monday morning. I googled the nearest place with the best reviews. Then searched again for anyone open on a Sunday at noon (not many). These guys popped up; I went in with a bank card and blind hope. Expecting to have to buy a cheap full-in phone until I could sort out this mess with Apple or AT&T. Expecting to kiss my savings account goodbye. These guys are outstanding. I walked in, explained the situation. They gave me a full quote and walked me though the possible damages and repair options. Sent me to kill time for an hour, and when I came back about 50 minutes later, they had it mostly fixed. They switched it between the old and new screen right in front of me so I could understand the situation. Opened it up and showed me the damages. I know nothing about the inner workings of an iPhone, but they broke it down for me unprompted so I could grasp what I was in for and what to expect. Told me the worst case scenario (needing to send it elsewhere for further repairs), but made it clear they'd do everything they could. Reminded me of any possible costs and double checked that I was okay with them. Never made me feel like I'd be left high and dry (which would've been fair; they fix phones, they don't perform magic, and I'd essentially sent it to the Shadow Realm). As a bonus, the guy who helped me was really polite about the privacy of my phone. Let me key in the password and double checked that I was okay with him entering any apps to confirm the functionality of the phone - even when going into Settings. Was super thorough and dedicated to making the phone 100% again, even when I admitted I was willing to just take a phone that could send texts, make calls, and receive emails. Friendly, calm, professional; that was exactly what I needed when looking at my year-old, $900 investment and control hub of my life, sitting possibly dead on the counter. Went to kill time for another 15 minutes. When I came back, he had it all patched up and gave me a rundown of the final fixes. Noted that one or two minor glitches did happen (battery level fluctuated some), but gave me the option of fixing that then (maybe unnecessary) or coming back if there was an issue with a $10 discount on replacing the battery. Never pressured me to buy anything else and was very frank about the state of my phone. I was in and out in an hour and a half, tops. I came in with a phone that probably needed a full replacement. Walked out with a fully functional phone that had a new screen, a few circuit repairs, and other minor tweaks that had it living life again. $100-ish dollars in total, on the weekend, less than three hours after I'd TOTALED the thing. I'll recommend these guys forever, and you won't catch me upgrading to a new phone again just because something is wrong with my old one. This place works miracles!

Unfortunately I cracked my screen cover but they honored their guarantee and a replacement screen…read morewas only $5. Thank you Ramon for the great service!

I returned to the store and the technician (I did not get his name) worked diligently to fix the issues and was successful. He ended up replacing the camera part (pictures were blurry after the battery replacement) without charge. Simutek wanted to charge me $150 to replace the battery and instead I paid $75 at GW. I was surprised when they said that they use Apple parts, but my phone detected non-Apple parts. It is working fine and it is an old phone - so I imagine I'll be replacing it once it completely konks out.

Smart Switch was not installed on the outer screen, so I could not complete the transfer myself. I explained that I needed both phones back by Friday so I could return the old device to Verizon and was told that the data transfer would be done that day. The store notified me that the phones were ready so on July 15, I picked them up. I paid a $30 diagnostic fee and was charged an additional $129 for the data transfer. After seeing that my contacts had transferred, I assumed that all of my data had been transferred. However, once I returned home, I discovered that only my contacts and photos had transferred. None of my apps, Notes, passwords, documents, or other important data had been moved. When I attempted to charge my old phone so I could try to complete the transfer myself, I discovered that my phone would no longer charge. (Prior to leaving it with Gamer's Warehouse, the phone was fully functional aside from the inner screen.) I contacted the store and was told to return at 9am when the store opened so they could complete the transfer by the end of that day. On July 16, I arrived before the 9:00 a.m. opening time but had to wait until approximately 10:15 a.m. before technician Ramsey arrived and opened the store. I explained that I had paid $159 for a service that had not been completed and reminded him that I had to return the phone to Verizon the following day, again asking him again if he would be able to copy my data. If he could not complete the service, I would need my phone back in the same operating condition I had given it to him the day before so that I could find someone else who could complete the service. Ramsey informed me that my phone wouldn't charge because he had removed the battery (without my knowledge or consent) which he stated had "exploded" and somehow caused the inner screen to stop working without affecting the rest of the phone. He could not explain how a supposedly failed battery was consistent with the phone functioning normally before I left it with them, nor could he explain why I was never informed that the battery had been removed before I picked up my phone. He also could not explain why the phone was not returned in the same condition in which I left it. He then told me that a driver had picked up the battery so he did not have a working battery to use in order to complete the data transfer. When I asked why Smart Switch had not simply been used for data transfer if replacing the battery had restored functionality, Ramsey had no explanation. Smartswitch would have easily transferred all of the data within minutes. Ramsey then stated he could still perform the transfer but would first have to attempt to contact whoever picked up the battery and have them return it to the store. Ramsey was becoming increasingly loud, abrasive and agitated. Given that the service I paid for had not been completed, my phone had been returned in a completely inoperable condition and Ramsey was becoming increasingly aggressive during our conversation, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my devices with Gamer's Warehouse and left with both phones. I then went to Verizon. After explaining the situation, the Verizon employees told me the circumstances appeared highly questionable. While at Verizon, I called Gamer's Warehouse on speakerphone to request the return of my battery in case Verizon needed it. Ramsey responded by personally attacking me, making inappropriate remarks, and yelling at/over me throughout the conversation. Rather than addressing any of the above concerns, Ramsey insisted I did not need the battery returned and claimed Verizon would accept the phone return without it. I requested that he notify me when my battery was ready for pickup and ended the call. After witnessing the call, the Verizon employees recommended that I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As a result of my experience with Gamer's Warehouse and Ramsey, I was without a functioning phone for most of the week, paid $159 for a service that was never completed, received my phone back completely inoperable with Ramsey having removed the battery without my knowlege or authorization (theft by conversion) and most importantly, important documents, filings and information going back to 2017 has now been lost forever. This experience is especially disappointing considering I had previously paid Gamer's Warehouse $450 to repair the same phone's inner screen only months earlier, and that "repair" clearly did not last. Never once was I apologized to or offered a refund for the service I never received. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Gamer's Warehouse for any reason. Gamer's Warehouse is unprofessional, the workmanship/service incompetent, and the customer service abusive.
