The restaurant itself is clean, has a large deli display, and posters of all their delicious sandwiches. They also have premade salads, some desserts, and other goodies. I want to commend the employee I had tonight. I wish I had gotten her name but she was extremely kind and personable. I've had her before and she always makes for a great experience. If the business owner reads this she was working the night of 2/7/26 and is a crowd favorite! Tonight I ordered the Cape Cod sandwich and we also had the chicken and falafel wrap. The Cape Cod was delicious! Nice and crispy fish even though I brought it home. Their falafel is always moist and delicious as well. My other favorite sandwiches are the Varone and Goldfinger. What really sets them apart is their bread- always soft and very fresh tasting. Their prices are also reasonable for the amount of food you get. This is a sandwich shop Subway is jealous of! Definitely a must try.

I decided to order the Don Carlo because it advertised thinly sliced eggplant (see attached image). Who is going to use a frozen Sysco or US foods garbage if they offer thin sliced?? The eggplant I got was about 3/8 thick with the skin still on it, obviously not thinly sliced. Maybe don't advertise thinly sliced eggplant. I don't want to eat frozen garbage with the skin on it. Absolutely disgusting. If you have an eggplant menu item you need to skin it, slice it thin, batter it and fry it. The disgusting slop from US Foods or Sysco is a pathetic excuse for explant. In addition to that hunk of garbage my wife got a Caesar wrap. Some of the lettuce was black and slimy. Obviously it had gone bad. So yeah, I called them and the teenager on the phone said "Uhhh those are the eggplants we have" and told me it's thinly sliced.......it was not. They did offer to make my wife a new wrap. But it was not worth me driving 40 minutes round trip. Kid refused to refund me. Shit customer service.

I understand that the day gets busy and there isn't a lot of time to sweep. However, if the floor is that dirty it makes me wonder how the rest of the food is stored.
