I had been going to this restaurant for a long time since I am a student at the nearby Dean College, and at first the food was decent but nothing special. Then I noticed as I went there more the quality started to drop drastically, the pizza went from tasting fresh to tasting like they use crappy canned ingredients. Last summer though I noticed a huge drop in quality, when I went there with my girlfriend one time the cheese slid off of the slice when she picked it up to take a bite. The pizza is also always DRENCHED in grease and is sticky and nasty and also has absolutely NO SAUCE. After not going back for a few months, me and my girlfriend decided to go back and try it again to see if they changed in any way. When we got to the restaurant we saw that the whole place was a lot cleaner and was repainted and the bathroom was cleaned and the paper towel dispenser worked. I will give them some respect for taking these points into consideration. But the food was still vile and disgusting and greasy, it felt like I was eating pizza that had been dropped in the ocean it was so soggy and greasy and absolutely vile. It also tasted ver bland and had not flavor or sauce still. The worker there was also super rude and passive aggressive toward every customer that walked in. He clearly didn't want to be working there and felt the need to take his anger out on his customers, like that is no way to run a business and keep customers coming back. I will never be returning to this place and I seriously wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else either. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, and go elsewhere to get better pizza, I would rather eat school lunch pizza than this. read more

I have been several times to this take-out restaurant. I find the pizza, calzones and sandwiches to be a bit bland. The best part of this restaurant is the sweet treats offered by Julie's Little Cakes which sit by the register. Service with a smile and conveniently located in Franklin's downtown. read more

Unfortunately had a terrible experience with these guys through DoorDash. Order said it was "being prepared" for over an hour. We gave them a call asking for an update on the order. The woman on the phone was incredible rude and dismissive...told us she is too busy to update the tablets and ended the call with "it's probably on its way". I'm updating my review. I haven't there in 4 years but apparently my family loves the place and when I went over there for lunch the other day, my cousin really wanted pizza and my family really wanted to order from FPD. I wasn't sure it was the same place I left a 1 star review to 4 years ago, I had to go on my Yelp and check. It was. After much hemming and hawing I begrudgingly decided to concede and order from here. I got the steak tip sub and I gotta say it was delicious and I was satisfied after my meal. They used a great marinade and the tips were tender, juicy and delicious. They were also plentiful. I'm going to give them another shot and I recommend you do too. Like I said my family loves the place and I had a much better go this time around. I'm going to have the try the chicken cutlet sub again and see if they stepped their game up in that area as well. read more

Get the BBQ chicken tenders... got a small order after I had half a grilled chicken wrap which was really yummy, but the tenders were to die for. Toasted turkey sub also yummy! Good place to order when you're running short on time and want something decent to eat. Food is prepared and ready quickly. Have never waited more than 10 minutes. read more

I can't believe no has written any reviews on this place yet! FPD is a long established tradition among my high school friends, and now and then when we find ourselves home, we are always here. The store just relocated, it's a lot roomier and a lot cleaner, the inside has a much more "restaurant" feel to it, but the taste and the price is still amazing. The buffalo chicken pizza is the best, made with tomato sauce, not buffalo sauce, and just enough of a zip to it. The pizza crust here is great too, very crispy just the way that I like it. If you aren't in the mood for pizza, the menu is pretty extensive and the sandwiches are all amazing. The portions are great too, I almost always have leftovers. Because they don't always have a lot of staff, delivery can be slow. Also, they are closed on Sundays, which is too bad. This is by far the best pizza in Franklin and no more expensive than any of the chain pizza places. I would give it ten stars if I could! read more

This is our go to place for Pizza in Franklin. It's greek style and it's oh so good. The crust has a nice crunch and the sauce is flavored right. Not too oily of a silce but oily enough. I prefer the pepperoni and hamburg while the wife loves the veggie. We both enjoy their greek salads and the buffalo fingers. I'm a buffalo snob but as far as pizza joint fingers go... these are good. Nice and spicy. read more

Not worth spending your money. After getting our sandwiches home. I called to tell them they were not done how we ordered. Getting no satisfaction I got in the car and brought them back. I should have not left them talk me out of a refund. Getting the second order home they were no better and ended up in the trash...I have been eating there for a long time whatever has changed has not been for the good. Don't waste your money $$$$$. We've tried a lot of different pizza places in Franklin and this is our favorite. I like the meatball and onion pizza. It's greek style, so thick with a crispy (but not too crispy) crust. The new location is nice, but we're strictly take-out people and we prefer our pizza at home with a beer. I wish they were open on Sundays! read more

Hands down the best food place in Franklin. Our family has (embarrassingly) ordered takeout from here almost every other Thursday for at least a couple of months. Their buffalo chicken calzone is mouth-watering and not too spicy, and the staff are always friendly and fast-paced. Their location is excellently placed just off of East Central Street, in the middle of town. I do recommend to order takeout as opposed to sitting in, as the noises from the kitchen can be a hinderance to conversation. read more

Got pizza with peppers and onions. The peppers and onions seemed fresh and provided most of the flavor for our pizza. The cheese, crust, and sauce were all somewhat unremarkable. Stopped here and had the Lasagna.It was oven roasted over a open fire. Very tasty. I also had a salad. it was wasn't so tasty. The salad came with a vinegar / apple cider dressing. I didn't care for it at all. The salad was pretty plain and had dried out chicken pieced on top of it. read more
