Dave Spaulding was more than accommodating and very easy to work with. I went from table to table at my function to get a review on the food that was presented. This caterer received a perfect score and everyone i spoke to at the individual tables said they wouldn't change a thing. This caterer was extraordinary to work with along with the homemade tasting food he presented. I would highly recommend this caterer and give him a 5 star rating for a job well done. I stopped eating it once I realized. The chicken and wrap itself were fine, but the lettuce quality was disappointing and not something that should be served. This seems like a food prep/quality control issue rather than a one-off. French fries were nice and crispy! For $17 on DD, I am so disappointed. I am willing to give this place another chance, but this also makes me question the quality of other ingredients. I hope management pays closer attention to produce freshness going forward, because this could have been avoided.

Dave ( the boss/owner?) was great most of the way through, but when he left on vacation, he didn't process a payment ( I was paying early to help him out), and then got angry at me when I was trying to get in touch with someone else (who didn't know what was going on) to repay in the days before the wedding (when I was managing 1000 things). That is one example of the communication being not always the best, in other words, but Todd and Lori were very kind and they helped us out so much at the end of the reception with breakdown. Also, their policy of cleaning the barn the day of the event, such that we could not get in to decorate early, made things hard...and the hovering of the staff, and getting angry and people making mistakes about where the bar was, etc, was not great. Overall, a good experience...you just need to super-communicate and be ready to deal with some rather rustic people.

Joan called me back right away as she had a cancellation on the date we wanted. That was pure luck and the rest is history. Joan, her family and staff at Franklin Caterers were awesome to deal with. She made great suggestions for renting the tent and tables, took care of all the menu details as well as linens, and provided the perfect advice for setting up the bar and provided a bartender. Everyone was superbly professional, on-time, very communicative and we were able to enjoy the party with our guests which was our goal. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
