I have had a great experience with Capital City Cycles so far. I took my wife just to look around…read moreand get her interested in the possibility of upgrading our 2009 V-Star. By the end of the day we had gotten a deal that neither one of us could pass up. And when I say "by the end" I mean it was late when we got there and the crew stayed late to get us the deal we got. The two salesmen I dealt with, Ryan (aka Opie) and Chris, weren't pushy and I were there to help. Having never owned a Harley before and having my wife there, they earned their pay. The girl that handled the financial paperwork was awesome at her job and although I can't remember her name, I will never forget her lavender colored hair and wicked sense of humor. I needed to update the PIN for the security system and want to lower the bike and when I went back to Capital City, the crew was more than willing to help. Anthony, one of the service guys was helpful, informative and fast. Gale, who worked behind the counter answered every question or found the person that could all while trying to eat her lunch and answer the constantly ringing phone. So far, this place has been excellent and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a used bike. Go there with an idea of what you are looking for and an amount you can afford monthly and they will do their best to find you a bike. Tell Ryan and Chris I sent you. Good luck mate!

Do NOT trust this place. They have absolutely no integrity. A bunch of liars who will happily sell…read moreyou a lemon and then refuse to make it right. I'm writing this after watching everything my boyfriend went through with this dealership. I was there through the entire ordeal, and I witnessed how he was treated. My boyfriend originally purchased a black Suzuki from this dealership. Later, he purchased a grey Hayabusa from them as well. That Hayabusa lasted roughly 30 miles after leaving the dealership before the engine blew up while he was riding on Two Notch Road. This left him with just the black Suzuki.  The catalytic converter started running hot on the black bike so they talked him into a trade   After everything that happened with the Hayabusa, the dealership told my boyfriend they would make things right. He ended up trading in the black Suzuki, and they promised they would take care of him this time. They told him they were going to do a full inspection on the new bike, replace the fuel pump, make sure everything was working properly, and have it ready within a week. That was a lie. A week turned into a month. Not once did they proactively reach out with updates. My boyfriend constantly had to call them, only to get excuse after excuse and the runaround every single time. Finally, they called and said the bike was ready. He drove out there, and suddenly they needed to "pull it around front." Two hours later, the bike wouldn't even start. They tried to brush it off by saying it couldn't be anything major and that they'd get it handled right away. Then came even MORE weeks of waiting. Eventually, after he had to contact them numerous times, they said it was ready. We got there, and employees walked right past us like we didn't even exist. When we finally got to the bike it was running. My boyfriend asked if it started consistently and was told yes. Another lie.  The bike still couldn't hold the proper voltage, despite them claiming it had a brand-new battery. The bike wouldn't start own its own. It had to be jumped and still it struggled. After being lied to for nearly two months, my boyfriend calmly went inside and politely asked if there was anything they could do to make the situation right. That's when Brandon, the supposed owner, completely lost his temper. My boyfriend never raised his voice. He never cursed. He simply asked if anything could be worked out after everything that had happened. Brandon immediately started yelling, telling him not to "run your mouth" and repeatedly saying that because it was his business, he'd tell him what to do. I stood there and watched this happen. Instead of acting like a professional, he chose to scream at a paying customer who had been nothing but patient throughout this entire mess. During the confrontation, Brandon was holding a metal pole while yelling and trying to make himself appear intimidating. It was completely unnecessary and incredibly unprofessional. Brandon's comments and behavior were gross. I'd never seen someone fly off the handle with so much rage and disrespect towards someone who simply said alright and turned to leave. He wanted an issue and repeatedly made comments trying to provoke my boyfriend. He was disorderly acting as if my boyfriend was being belligerent throwing around the demands. This was not the case. After nearly two months of waiting, countless broken promises, and constant excuses, my boyfriend with a police escort ultimately had to trailer the "new" motorcycle home himself because it still wasn't right. He purchased a motorcycle that was supposed to be inspected, repaired, and ready to ride--not a project bike that he would have to haul home and continue dealing with. This entire experience was shady from beginning to end. This dealership sold my boyfriend a Hayabusa that lasted about 30 miles before the engine blew. Then, after promising to make things right, they spent nearly two months giving us the runaround on the replacement motorcycle he received after trading in his black Suzuki. In the end, the replacement bike still wasn't ready, and when he politely questioned it, he was met with disrespect instead of accountability. Save yourself the headache. There are honest dealerships out there. This is not one of them. Based on everything I personally witnessed, I would never recommend doing business here. They don't stand behind what they sell, they don't honor their promises, and they certainly don't know how to treat paying customers with respect. Take your money somewhere else.
