The store prices seemed reasonable and not at all out of line with other retailers on the local I-85 corridor. A prominent local person had a big problem them though. He bought gas with his debit card and was charged the credit card prices. It made our local newspaper. There's a cash price here and a higher credit card price for credit cards when purchasing gas. It's debatable whether debit cards are the same as cash. The store owner stood his ground and still has cash/ credit card prices posted. After all; it's the owners store and he can legally charge whatever he wants to price wise.
