This review is for the hot dog stand in Quil Ceda Creek Casino's food hall called Nathan's Famous. My friend and I was a little hungry and needed a snack so we decided to try their hot dogs. Unfortunately They didn't have pork based hot dogs, only beef. I prefer pork based hot dogs but that's more of a personal preference. I liked how many topping options were there. Sauerkraut, onions, ketchup, mustard, and relish were among the choices. There were premium options but i didn't go for those. I got a pretty standard hot dog with onions, ketchup, and mustard. The hot dogs themselves were just OK. I'd rate it 5/10 for its taste. Mid. One thing i really didn't like was how salty it was. It wasn't overbearingly salty but it was more salty than I preferred. Every bite was as If i licked a spoon with salt shaked in along with the hot dog. It didn't ruin the hot dog but i'd prefer if they hold the salt a bit. It's also a little smaller sized than i liked. Also, I think the hot dog is slightly overpriced for what it is at $4.75USD. The menu said $4.25USD but it turned out to be wrong because the staff said it's actually $4.75 lol. They should probably fix that. To compare, as a longtime (Canadian) Costco member, i like costco's polish pork based hot dogs much more. The costco hot dogs are only $1.50 canadian and includes a fountain pop drink. The hot dogs in costco are also juicier, tastier, and bigger than Nathan's hot dogs. There's also a non branded hot dog stand in downtown Vancouver I go to a lot that sells hot dogs for $5 that are way better in taste and in size. Later that day, I also ordered their soft pretzel with a side of cheese sauce for $4.50. I actually liked the soft pretzel with cheese a lot more than the hot dog. The pretzel was tasty and was perfectly slightly sweet. The cheese was not your typical cheese dip you get a 7 eleven. It was a little tastier and thicker. It had a few pieces of diced peppers inside. Overall, their soft pretzel and cheese is not bad at all. Service was fine. The nice lady at the counter was more friendly than your typical soul drained fast food staff worker. She thanked us afterwards and greeted us as when she took our order. My order took about 3 minutes to make which is typical i think. Overall Im going to give Nathan's famous 3 out of 5 stars for their food being just OK. You are not missing much if you don't choose them for your next snack craving. Their hot dogs are nothing special. Their soft pretzels are not bad but I'd say Auntie Anne's soft pretzels which is nearby are way better. Nathan's famous? More like Nathan's forgettable hot dogs! read more

Saturday afternoon. Arrived here because my out of town guest wanted to. I remembered that I had received a mailer offering free play. I didn't have my card, so I went to the Player's Card desk. This probably is the 100tth time I've done this. I never have my card. When asked for my ID I presented my Oregon driver's license. Apparently this was beyond the capacity of those at the Player's Card desk. My ID was refused although it is the same one I've used here countless times before, thru every state in my travell, and boarded planes and rented cars with. So, yep. It's 100 percent legit. But not for Supervisor Jesse who refused my request for a duplicate players card. He cited the id was not acceptable based on the fact that the paper sticker affixed on the bottom of the driver's license had rubbed off. Good quality restaurants, check in get a dining card and pick any restaurant to get cook to order foods. Remember to give dining card to the cashier of each cooking station, after you're all done eating pay at the front entrance of the dining hall. Tables and utensils are clean, they have leftover bags, platsic utensils, large and small takeout boxes, ketchup, peanutbutter jelly available for takeout. Quil casino always has clean restrooms. The casino itself is beautiful and usually very clean. The thing that I've noticed lately is that first of all the cinnamon rolls have shrunk to half the size they were. Not in circumference but for sure in height. They look like pancakes now. No longer worth the price. Plus the Keg bar doesn't have food right now and from what I hear there won't be food for a couple weeks. It really sucks to go to a place for fun and a specific item for lunch only to learn that you can't get what you want due to staff shortages and ventilation issues. They make loads of money off of their patrons but can't fix the ventilation/staff issues in order to provide the food they said they can provide. Disappointing 100%. read more

My brother and I visited the new casino with the sole intention of dining not the gambling experience. We chose to eat at pestos in the kitchen. My brother liked the idea of having a card given to you so you can get whatever you want than pay at the end. I was a little skeptical about it, but it's different and seems like something you'd find on a cruise ship. Pestos was alright, I got the chicken farfelle which was more on the tangy side for a cream sauce. I think that the pasta would have been better without the sun dried tomatoes. This place has turned into such a damn ripoff over the last three years. I'm very suspect that they are manipulating ways to get the RTP% below the minimum, State required 75% RTP. (Vegas RTP minimum is 92%.) The slots are just so damn tight it's ridiculous. I have talked with many other people during the last several visits and they are also feeling the same way that I do. I get that it's gambling and the house always wins at the end, but seriously...come on!! Give us a break. The tight slots just take and take, and they give us pittances for bonus rounds (if one is so lucky). Oh...and don't forget that the slots are Class II slots hooked up to a central server/tribal lottery system, so...when you are playing Class II slots, you are playing on machines that are basically electronic scratch lottery ticket terminals with slot machine interfaces so they look like real slot machines. These are not true Vegas-style Class III slots with a truly independent RNG. My overall advice is to save your money because you definitely won't save it at Quil Ceda. Why do i keep giving these losers more chances? Is it the memory of when they used to treat us well? Sports events used to be a real party here. They would hire models from an agency to act as ring card girls and made a big deal of our coming. Now, no models, no customer service and no decent food. Didn't eat it, and kinda appalled they let that disastrous sweet & sour chicken leave their kitchen. The egg rolls were just as bad but at least that was warm. My fiancé ordered from the 24/7 breakfast spot for which we had to wait over 5 mins for someone to acknowledge us (we were the only ones in line). He ordered eggs Benedict which wasn't too bad (we had to share his meal for I couldn't not eat mine), the fry bread the Benedict came on was more like a hard pita chip tho so the meal was not up to par as a whole. Also, not sure why they have a casino card "payment" system and why we can't just pay upon ordering. It seems like an extra step for them to do. Besides walking thru the casino, I cannot comment on that because once we finished eating we decided to just leave because we didn't want to "donate" anymore of our money there.
