Have taken our dogs to Quil Ceda for years, but their recent change in policy to only allow pet prescriptions to be filled by their chosen pharmacy, Covetrus, crossed the line for me. I guess I would have felt differently had they given me a heads up months before, but they didn't. They waited until I placed an order with 1800petmeds, and then they let me know that I had to use Covetrus, or they wouldn't refill my dog's prescription. Eventually, they did refill through Petmeds, but let me know I had to use Covetrus in the future. So now we're going to use a new Vet because of this poorly planned out change in policy... My parents have took my dogs and cats here for longer than I have been alive! The first time I had brought my dog, apparently the vet had died that my parents had always seen and this was my first visit because I was young and my parent finally let me take my dog without them, the new vet was horrible she had the worst attitude and treated me like a delinquent because it was my first time alone, acting like I was stupid and giving me glares because I didn't know certain things that should have been on her computer because my dog had been there before. I was super excited to finally doing adulting things with my dog and she made me feel completely uncomfortable to where I was almost in tears. We have switched since then and love our new place. Sadly wish that I had have the experience my parents had for years. read more

No attention to detail - seem to be on autopilot. I selected this clinic for my 8 week old Bouvier des Flanders puppy because my friend was very happy with Dr. Tonya Lamb. I called the office to make an appointment as a new client, and whoever answered the phone was obviously too busy, and did not welcome my questions about how many weeks should elapse between regular puppy visits. Despite the fact that I was obviously inconveniencing her, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lamb. Unfortunately, I had to change the date of the appointment. When I arrived, I found that they had rescheduled me with the other veterinarian, Dr. Burlingame, and if I wanted to see Dr. Lamb, I would need to reschedule. I decided to continue despite the change. Dr. Burlingame was a pleasant enough chap and invited questions, but I thought his actual examination seemed a bit cursory - but, what do I know for what should be in an examination? Over the following week, I noticed puppy showing signs of a potential bladder infection. I collected a sample and brought it in the afternoon of Oct. 15. At that time they weighed my pup, and found that she had gone from 11.7 lbs to 16.9 in less than a week! (Yep, she's gonna be enormous!) They told me that they would call me regarding the lab results, and I left. Fast forward 1 week. I realized that I still had not heard from the vet's office, so I called them. They couldn't find my file. It turns out that the reason was because 6 days earlier, the results had tested positive for the bladder infection, they had prescribed meds, set them and the file on the shelf, and never called to inform me. I went in to pick up the meds. 4 days later, I am on the web, looking up Clavamox (what the puppy was taking) and saw that the dose was usually 6.25 mg per lb in puppies. I did the math, and realized that the day they prescribed the meds, the dosage they prescribed was 25% lower than that, and that as of the day that I picked them up, it would have only been 50% of that. I called the vet's office, and they promptly doubled the dose.Turns out that the tech had failed to write down the weight at the time I brought her in, and the vet had prescribed for her 8 week weight of 11.7 lbs. Then, it did not occur to anyone that in the 2 weeks since that appointment, she would have gained a tremendous amount of weight (at 11 weeks she is over 20 lbs.) So...she not only had a week delay in starting meds, she was being given only 50% of what she should have for her condition. Not happy. Have canceled my next appointment and rescheduled elsewhere. read more

If you choose to go to this clinic I would advise you not see Dr. Maggie. On a recent visit she behaved in a highly unprofessional manner displaying anger and berating my wife. read more

We have been coming here over twenty years now, we've had three dogs and Dr. Burlingame has been wonderful with all three of my dogs, the staff there let me with my dog Rocky into a room to say goodbye and I will never forget how nice she was in there with me and how much compassion she had, I forgot her name but I'll never forget that day...then with my dog Moe, I was in the hospital when he passed way from cancer, I wasn't there that day but when I got out of the hospital and came home I had a nice card from everyone at this clinic, I thought that was nice that the whole staff signed it. I now take my big Rottweiler in to see them, he was in yesterday for more shots and he received good service once again. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Drs. Lamb and Burlingame and Miranda. They were spot on with their diagnoses and were so kind and sensitive when the time came to help my beloved pets cross over Rainbow Bridge. I am thankful to have found them. read more

Amazing! Dr Maggie is wonderful. My 1.5yr old English Mastiff has seizures so took him in after one to Dr Maggie, he had urinated himself during the seizure and she could tell by the smell that he may have a bladder infection. He was tested and he did! It was amazing because we think he had had it for over a month but when we took him to Diamond vet a month earlier they hadn't caught that. They DID take x-rays and complete blood work that cost us almost $700 but never did a simple urine analysis or Fecal. The staff at Quil Ceda is very kind and friendly also. read more

It's unfortunate to see the other review shown here, as I have had the complete opposite experience at Quil Ceda Clinic. We actually made the switch from another Marysville vet clinic (just down the street, actually...our former clinic was decent, but the vets we saw didn't seem to really love animals, and they were always trying to up-sell products and procedures to us). We tried Quil Ceda on the recommendation of some friends who take their dogs there. I was immediately impressed with the bedside manner of the receptionist, vet techs, and the vet(s) themselves. They all LOVE our dogs, and treat them like their own. Dr. Lamb is absolutely fantastic, and answers all of our (sometimes stupid) questions with patience and a smile. I never feel hurried or rushed in our appointments, even though I'm aware that they are a thriving practice and are very busy. Dr. Burlingame is wonderful as well. They understand when we are worried about our dogs, and have gone out of their way to accommodate us and fit us in between appointments, if need be. I trust them implicitly, and my dogs get soo excited when we pull into the parking lot...even though they know they're probably going to get a thermometer in the--well, you know. We recommend Quil Ceda to all of our friends in Snohomish County, even though there may be vets closer to their home. We are very happy customers, and our dogs are, too! read more

I have been going here for more than 20 years and they never cease to amaze me how kind and caring they are. I have had to put down 2 of my beloved family members in the past two years. We have brought our dogs to Dr Lamb for veterinary care for over ten years now. Even though we now live in the city of Seattle, we still make the drive to Marysville for all of our veterinary care. I cannot recommend Quil Ceda Veterinary highly enough. All of the front line staff, vet techs and Dr Lamb provide the very best, most thorough, loving care to every animal they see. Very rude on the phone, put me on hold for 8 minutes when I first called and when I tried to ask for their location / directions they rudely asked why I would want to know that and hung up on me when I said I was trying to find them on a map. Wouldn't trust them with anything. read more

I go out of my way to bring my babies to Dr. Lamb. She always takes time to make sure I understand what is going on and what supportive care and follow up is needed (and is one of the kindest people you will ever meet). I cannot fathom the review from November 4, 2015. The whole staff is great, Kelly is the new Carol (long time clients will understand what I mean), and having been a client at Quil Ceda since 1987 I've never had anything less than spectacular care and concern for my dogs. Pretty sure their loyal client base will discount the rants of a couple of what are most likely irrational people who may be the type who think the world revolves around them. Take the advice of some one-time visitors or someone who has had Quil Ceda take them through the puppy-to-senior lives of numerous furry friends. read more

I am adding an additional review to my first one, because now they have acted unethical and against their moral conduct as a Veterinarian. I had a horrible experience a few years back, but I needed a 2nd opinion, recently, on some Xrays that I got from another vet, so I dropped into their office and asked if Dr. Lamb would request the Xrays be transferred over to her and have a second look at them. She, instead, picked up the phone and called the vet and told them that I had caused a "disturbance" in her office and that I was no longer welcome in her office. This would be private and confidential information, if it were even true, that she is passing along to others without my consent. Not only that, it was SHE, who made a huge mistake by giving my puppy a duplicate shot of rabies and they treated me very rudely at the front desk when I was upset and didn't even cause a disturbance. I am filing additional complaints to the BBB because of this , but I wanted to make sure everyone knows what an unethical and nasty person she is. I wouldn't want a person like this taking care of my pets. Just an FYI. read more
