My lemon law case has probably been one of the hardest cases to deal with because the problems with my brand-new car didn't even start until after I was T-boned right in front of the dealership. That always felt a little suspicious to me. I was honestly scared to contact Quill & Arrow at first, but the attorney in their advertisement came across as very confident, and I felt like they were the right people to help me. To be honest, I never actually got the chance to speak directly with my lawyer, but I stayed in contact with the team handling my case. There were definitely times I got frustrated when they kept asking me for more documents and information. At the same time, I was trying to survive a biology class where I had to learn 35 chapters in just 16 weeks even though I had never taken biology before. That's a whole different story! I encountered ongoing difficulties obtaining assistance regarding an overage refund issue involving my vehicle finance company. Attempts to contact the office were frustrating, including emails that appeared to go undelivered, which made resolving the matter even more difficult. Throughout my time as a client, I never personally met with an attorney, and communication was often handled by different staff members rather than a consistent point of contact. This created confusion and made it challenging to receive clear updates or timely callbacks. For whatever reason, they feel they only need to speak with you when they need something from you or need to inform you legally about something, if you want any updates or progress about your case, you will not get it from them. They can't even be bothered to return an email within 7 days. That's absolutely ridiculous to me from a professional business standpoint not to mention destroyed trust in our client and attorney relationship. I was referred to this law firm by an old co-worker. He said they were good. Got his case settled quick for a lemon law. So I signed with them in late 2024. Communication with a lawyer never happened once. I would only speak with case managers and case managers changed frequently. Not sure if it was due to turnover or case moving to a different step of the process but just very frustrating. When I call in most times case managers are never available and the receptionist has to take my name and number and/or try and schedule a time to talk to someone. Fast forward I finally get a settlement offer in September 2025 from the manufacturer. I mean, the motor was replaced, and I still had problems after the replacement. In any event I sign the settlement paperwork and was told it could take up to 90 days for funds to be released. 90 days hit and no word from Quill & Arrow. I call in and the case manager says they need to follow up with the manufacturer. Then the payout timeline is revised to be anywhere from 90 days to 6 months and to check back in a month . Fast forward after checking in for a few months, now I'm told the manufacturer is hard to deal with, they haven't finalized on their end. So then I start asking questions like ok since they are delaying what are the potential falls outs. I still have the vehicle and still paying, will the settlement be adjusted? Is there a time frame as to when they need to comply or can I be in this holding pattern for months or years? Ultimately no clear answer was given. The case manager just said we have to wait for the manufacturer. He did say they are supposedly sending emails constantly to the manufacturer on my behalf multiple times a week. How true that is I'm not sure at this point. To be honest I am not sure what to believe. Is it the manufacture? Is it the law firm? Is it just an anomaly? I always seems like either they are short staffed, overwhelmed or both. Regardless they were hired to represent me to their fullest capability and I don't see that happening. Hindsight is 20/20 and I truly should have hired someone else. To top it off I expressed to my case manager that I didn't want the vehicle once a settlement was reached. And all they presented me with was cash and keep. I repeatedly asked for them to try and negotiate dropping the vehicle off. My case manager either didn't relay the message, or it was never negotiated. All I was told was the offer I received was the only offer the manufacturer sent. All this to say I would not recommend Quill & Arrow. I'm at almost a year, after signing settlement documents, with a car I don't want and no settlement in sight. But I'm supposed to trust that the manufacturer is the problem. read more

Instagram Lemon Law Survey lead me to QA. Initial process was effortless. Have all your paperwork ready and it will flow quickly. Cost me nothing through the end. Payout in the end was nice as well. You need to know what the target worth of the vehicle is that they are going for. Because anything beyond that they split 50/50. If you don't know what the target amount they are aiming for is, you'll never know what you're splitting with the firm initially. Example: target worth of the vehicle is 20k, they end up getting 40k agreed. You get 40k total, they get 20k. If you don't know they are going for 20k target, they can say target was 10k, and split 50k with you instead of 40k. I was happy with the outcome. I wasn't happy that the way they explained how the surrender process works, didn't happen that way. Left me without a car while waiting for a check. I didn't like that once I agreed to the settlement, their phones miraculously stopped working. And the worse part about the dealings, was after I got paid, they called and said we made an error on the settlement, you owe us money. It was a dirty move on their part, they even tried to say let's handle this civilly before we pursue legal. All in all, "if" they made a mistake, they have to eat it. But win positive this was a tactic to bully a once in a lifetime customer. 3 stars because money is money, but they're dirty for the attempt. read more

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!! I would give them 0 stars but it's not an option. I currently have a case with Quill and Arrow. Let's start with the letter to the manufacturer from Quill and Arrow. My young niece, in grade school, could write a better letter. When the letter was sent to me first to check it out, I thought to myself I could have done this on my own or used Chat GPT to write a better one. Let's talk about case managers, I think I've had 6 so far and all sound like they are still in high school. They have no idea what's happening. They're reading a script. Every phone call was made by me, I don't think this firm called me once to update me on my ongoing case. I've been with them a year. This firm advertises on social media way too much and should really focus on the clients they currently have. People, there's tons of firms out there just do the research. I wish I would have done my research first. After reading their reviews, I would have never chose this firm. All other negative reviews sound like what I'm currently going through with them (and there's a lot of negative reviews). You're just another number and they don't care about you. I received a call from a lawyer--unfortunately, I couldn't even catch his name because he rushed through the introduction and immediately launched into the conversation with a dismissive tone. He informed me there was a settlement offer from VW, briefly explained what the offer entailed, but provided no actual numbers or breakdown of the settlement. Despite the lack of transparency, I accepted the offer after he asked if I wanted him to push for more. I declined because I didn't want to drag this out any longer, especially knowing I'd likely have to prepare for a deposition with a lawyer I already found unreliable. I explained my reasons clearly: poor communication throughout the process, and my anxiety about dealing with VW again. The lawyer told me the settlement offer would expire on Friday, May 30th, and he had only contacted me on Tuesday of that same week. He said I'd be contacted by the settlement team and asked me to send over the payoff amount and all payments made--which I did the very next day. Since then, I've been following up, assuming there would be paperwork or documents for me to sign before the deadline. Today is June 5th, and after still not hearing anything back, I texted my case manager again. Suddenly, I received a call stating the lawyer had requested an extension (screenshot below). That's not what I wanted--I made my decision, submitted everything as instructed, and was told things were urgent. The lawyer's tone during our May 27th call and his insistence that I "needed to have documents ready" for the settlement team added unnecessary pressure--especially considering no one from that team ever reached out. Now my payoff quote has likely expired, and I may have to go through the process again. This entire experience with Quill & Arrow has been incredibly disappointing. I genuinely thought I was nearing the finish line, but instead, I'm dealing with the same lack of communication and professionalism that's plagued this case from the start. I will be filing another complaint with the BBB, because this is unacceptable. I asked my case manager to have Robert call me directly, because at this point, the lack of accountability and transparency is beyond frustrating. This firm had me waiting 3 years for a court date just for them to call me a couple weeks before it to tell me to request dismissal from the judge. I was told there is a new law in California for used cars and the lemon law not covering them no longer. I submitted my case with them 3 years before this was even an issue. I hired Quill and Arrow to handle my lemon law case. I signed my settlement papers in April of this year 2025. I was told it generally takes 60-90 days for them to set an appointment for car inspection and surrender. I had not heard from them for 90 days so I called for an update. I was told they had no word at that time and they would call to find out what was going on again. I didn't hear back from them so I called the next week every single day only to be told. I'd hear from My Atty within 24 hours each day on the following Monday I called again and I did get a call back. I was told that they had exceeded the 90 days and my attorney would have to file paperwork in court to have the judge make certain they upheld their end. This went on for two more months. I finally got the call to set the appointment to surrender my vehicle. I explain to Quill And Arrow that due to my medical condition. I needed a way to get to the hospital if need be and not to have it 911 I needed a car I asked for an advance on my settlement as all the paperwork had been signed and it was only for $1000. The car had been turned in three weeks and I finally got a check for $1000. the check was not cashable due to a stipulation that was set up for Quill and Arrow when they set up their account at Wells Fargo. A 24 Hour hold on all of their checks. That check didn't pay out for five days. The following day after I receive that thousand dollar check, I received the balance of what the settlement was again they do not cash checks for Quill and Arrow same day turned into the bank. When my bank went to verify funds in the account for the amount of the check, Wells Fargo was unable able to do that over the phone. Bank to Bank unable to verify funds? Caught me off guard. I immediately called the office of Quill and Arrow explaining the dilemma. I was assured that my CALL and complaint would be escalated to a practicing attorney and returned immediately. I also asked them to call Wells Fargo and have them call Chase Bank to verify funds were in the account. Wells Fargo did no such thing. Wells Fargo sent me a letter stating the $1000 check had been cashed that wasn't my concern. My biggest concern was the big check. I've called Clara last week three times my call went directly to voicemail. I called this morning and spoke with the receptionist Gabriella, who stated she would have an attorney call me back as soon as one was available. This has been going on for over a week. I still have no funds. I can't buy a car. I have missed out on the car I wanted since the money is not available.. This money is still sitting in Quill and Arrows bank account and no one has explained why. Do your due diligence in researching your use of this business. The stress I have endured though out this case could have been totally avoided if there was any accurate and transparent communication from my attorney. read more

We are nearly a year into working with them and they won't even pick up the phone. I hired Quill and Arrow in Los Angeles for a lemon law case that began in April 2025. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, all communication regarding the status and progress of my case has been initiated by me. I've been assigned three different case managers, and in nearly a year, I have spoken to my attorney only once (June 2025). During that call, my attorney assumed I had already completed my deposition and said they were waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. I had to inform him that I had never been deposed. At that point, he told me he would call the opposition attorney directly to secure a deposition date within the next week so the case could move forward. He never called me back, and I never heard from anyone at the firm regarding a deposition date. Since then, I've repeatedly called and left messages asking for updates. I was consistently told they were "waiting to hear back from opposing counsel to confirm the deposition." In January 2026, I was suddenly told something completely different--that the case is still in the discovery phase exchanging evidence. When I asked specifically about the deposition, which they had previously told me was the next step, I received no response. Concerned, I checked the court website myself and discovered that future hearings are scheduled for May 2027. No one from the firm has ever mentioned these hearings to me, despite my repeated attempts to get updates. This was especially troubling given that I had been told for months that they were waiting on a deposition. These delays are directly affecting me financially. Because the vehicle is still unresolved, I was forced to purchase another car. I advised my case managers of this financial hardship early on, yet my case has continued to stall with no clear explanation or progress. I genuinely do not know how I am expected to manage financially if this drags on until May 2027. At this point, I feel that nothing meaningful has been done on my case, and the information I've received has been repetitive, vague, and often contradictory. I have not been provided with any documentation or evidence showing what work has actually been completed on my behalf. Overall, something about this experience truly doesn't feel right. I feel misled and disregarded as a client. Once you're in the court system with this firm, it feels like you're stuck and your case becomes an afterthought. I spoke with huriel where I was trying to understand the situation better and he sends me paperwork to sign that I didn't understand. He then actually cancels the paperwork that I was supposed to sign then I asked him to give me a call and he calls and he talks so fast and talks over everything that I was saying and will not let me get a word in. The entire process took about 14 months, which is long, but within the range they initially told me. There were times over the 14-month period that I felt in the dark, but I imagine that is typical in lawsuits and settlements like this- lots of waiting time without much to update.
