The customer service for this business was so outstanding. I thought my washer was dying and went…read morethere to look for a new washer. The sales man started asking my questions about my washer and determined that it needed a $6 part and took me to the service desk and the tech told me how to take the wringer off and bring it in. I got it off and took it to them, he changed out the "dogs " and only charged me for the part $4.30. As long as I live in this area I will only shop at McKinnys for appliances. Pamela

They just rolled it into my garage. My warehouse is directly across the street from my house, on the same route back to their shop. I offered to grab a piece of paper, write and sign a waiver releasing them of any liability, and even offered one hundred dollars for the quick drop off. The crew told me it was an insurance issue, but when I spoke to the owner, he said it was not insurance. It was simply policy. He was matter of fact and showed no interest in helping or even listening. They were perfectly willing to take my old refrigerator six miles away to their warehouse and deal with it there, but when it came to dropping it off at my warehouse, right across the street from my house and directly on their route, suddenly it was a problem. I tried to reason with the owner, explaining how simple it would be, but he just was not hearing me. I was the last delivery of the day, and it would have taken no more than two minutes. We spent more time standing there talking about it than it would have taken to make it happen. So instead, they left it sitting in my garage, where it has stayed ever since. Every time I open that middle garage door and see it sitting there, I am reminded that it could have been in my warehouse where it belongs. It takes up space and serves as a daily reminder of how this business handled a simple, reasonable request. That decision cost them the sale of the oven and microwave I bought elsewhere, and probably more through word of mouth. They lost a loyal customer, and for what? Two minutes of time. It is his business, and he can run it how he wants. I respect that. But common sense went right out the window. This was never about insurance. It was about policy and a lack of flexibility. The owner's public response did nothing to change that impression. I am keeping this at one star because his reply only confirmed my experience. Instead of owning the situation or acknowledging what really happened, he repeated an inaccurate story that does not reflect the facts. That response alone speaks volumes about how this business handles customer feedback. Sometimes the coldest thing in the room is not the refrigerator.

The employees that brought our items to the vehicle were prompt, friendly and appeared to handle our boxes with care. We haven't had an opportunity yet to unbox the items and will leave an update when we do. The wreath box did have a gash in it though so being hopeful.

I bought a chemical sprayer from Lowe's a month or two back. When I took it to the checkout…read morecounter, I mentioned that it appeared to be a RETURN by the way the box was taped up. The sales person assured me it was a new device. -- Now, today I open the box, fill up the sprayer, pump it, and then realize the spray nozzle is not attached, nor is there one in the box. --- So, I return to Lowe's with it. I explain to the girl there what the situation is. She stares at the sprayer and asks "What is that thing called?" I sensed this was not going to go well. The girl had more pimples than freckles on her face. She proceeded to refund the cost of the sprayer to my debit card. -- But did not give me a copy of the receipt. I stood there and waited for the receipt, but she didn't get the point. So, my next question to her was, "So, I explained that you sold me a sprayer that did not have a spray nozzle and now I ask you -- how do I spray the weeds on my lawn with my debit card??? Shouldn't you have REPLACED the sprayer with a new one, rather than refund the money?" --- Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware, these are a couple alternatives to Lowe's. Home Depot is out of the game, I have had too much dissatisfaction with customer service there. LOWE'S-- You LOSE! Your people don't know hardware or the lay of the products in the store--without looking it up on their phones. IDIOTS! All of you.
