A food hall is always a great concept since you have so many options and this fit right into our expectations. Being that we were in Boston for only one day we had a lot to choose from. There are two sides of entering from the middle. Unfortunately, he did not know this, and only went to one side and missed out from the other as we were already full. I love any market with various options, even if some aren't for me. People give this place a hard time because it might seem touristy. If touristy means people feel safe exploring the location in an unfamiliar area, that's fine with me. I tried a few options here. Didn't love them all but I was very happy about the options. It's most important not to compare to more well-known halls. That way, you'll appreciate it for what it offers to the area. Quincy Market is a must visit everytime we're in Boston. We love how there are restaurants and gift shops for literally everyone. It can get really crowded at lunch time but the service is usually really fast no matter where we ordered from. On this trip I also grabbed some souvenirs and a beenie and some gloves to use as it was still cold outside. Everytime we've come there has been some kind of performance outside of the market. Amazing Market! If you can't find a bite to grab at Quincy Market, I have no hope for you LOL! It is located next to Faneuil Hall, so after visiting the Museum and the Visitor Center, you can stop next door to have lunch or dinner. Or get a snack or a drink or cool off with an ince-cream. They have wonderful smoothies, they offer samples. The strawberry smoothies was nice and refreshing. Lots of options, you get samples offered by some shops and restaurants to help you make a decision. From lobster rolls, to Middle Eastern, Pizza, sandwiches, Italian food, Greek dishes, seafood, everything looks great! Steve's is great and so is the Italian dessert shop, best looking pastries and cakes I have seen at this market! If I would have stayed longer, I would have come back to try something else! They also have clean restrooms and a very nice decorated seating area! It's a long hallway and shops on the sides, outdoors, all sorts of cool little stalls. The Quincy Market is a must see in Boston. I highly recommend coming hungry as there is every kind of food you can imagine. From chowder and ice cream to pizza, burgers and everything in between, there is truly something for everyone. It gets very crowded so I recommend arriving early or before they close. I really loved all of the options here! So many choices of some of my favorite types of foods. There is seafood, Asian, chowders , sushi, desserts, and much more. So many fantastic smells and things to discover! It gets busy and finding a place to sit is a thing. We chose to eat at a standing table There was live music being played that I enjoyed including "Change" by Blindmelon and " Nothing Compares to You". Overall it was clean. Walk through the entire market first. Straight through from one end to another. Both sides there are vendors selling candied apples, baklava, lobster rolls and more. Just like a couple years ago we got the lobster rolls but also a Dubai chocolate covered strawberries in a cup and a drink. It's a food court inside and there are vendors selling items outside the food hall. Two times we observed the masterful drummer who was jamming it on plastic buckets. Quincy Market has a lot, and I mean A LOT, of different food options. Almost all of the stalls were different from each other, and the hall seems to go on forever. There is a huge selection to choose from. Now, this doesn't mean that everything is amazing. This place is a bit of a tourist trap and it's extremely overpriced for what it is. But if you're here for the tourism, it's a nice place to stop by and grab a bite. There doesn't seem to be a lot of seating (it's located on the periphery) but people don't seem to linger too long so it's not a huge issue. The building itself is fun and a real historical gem. There are some really beautiful things to look at and while it's very touristy, it's still a wonderful place to check out while in Boston. read more

This is a vibrant indoor food hall offering plenty of diverse dining choices. There are small local vendors surrounding it, that have a variety of items for sale. It was crowded, but not too bad. There was a violinist playing music and she was great. There is very limited seating, so if you're traveling with someone and there's a seated (or standing) table - grab it! Otherwise you will have nowhere to put your food down to eat and end up holding it in your hand as you eat. read more

I found this marketplace by mistake and had the best time here. There was a great selection of stores and lots of food options too. It was a bit cold when I went, but I know this place is busy on a nice, warm day. It was walking distance to my hotel so I didn't have far to carry my bags. I was greeted in every store I entered and enjoyed interacting with people in the stores I entered. I'm not sure if this is an outlet, but I didn't feel like prices were outrageous here. I felt like I was paying current market prices for the things I purchased. Some of the stores had really good sales like the Crocs store. Her friend had recommended it, but we were impressed by the size of the venue and the sheer number and variety of food places. What a treat to roam around Quincy Market on a weekday! To find out it was busy as can be with every Food Stall packed with hungry Visitors! The selection of tasty treats and savory foods was very abundant and every seat in the Rotunda was full with a brilliant Violin Professional serenading the public! This could be a indecisive person's dream come true or worst nightmare. For me, I loved having so many food options in this food hall. They had everything you could think of among Boston staples. It's a really long hall with different vendors. Most lines move quickly and there's a small space to sit inside or of it's a nice day to eat outside. I'm driving in from Connecticut and this is my first time at Quincy market. We tried three different restaurants in the market - picked up a HOT lobster roll with bisque from the oyster bar. Decent portions but fairly bland. Chicken kebab bowl with rice and salad from the Greek place - no seasoning on food and 2-3 pcs of chicken with a big bowl of rice. Felt overpriced and poor quality. Chicken bowl from the Mexican place - better experience than the other two but it's still cheap quality food. The shredded chicken was so dry that it felt precooked a few days ago and reheated here. The seating area is pretty crowded but that is expected. No people cleaning it up so we had to clean up ourselves. Overall, Chelsea market in NYC set the bar too high that this place fell way short. read more

It's is more of a tourist trap but you come for the history of the building. The whole area is a one stop shop for souvenirs. The food options are not really a highlight of new England's best. It's really an overcrowded mall food court. Lots of Chinese food, pizza, cheaply made desserts. You have a few lobster roll stands though. Good luck snagging a table when you get your food. It is limited. There is an upstairs, you might get lucky finding a table with chairs. But at least upstairs, if you do grab a table the workers there are great and clean off your table really quick. The bathrooms are located in the basement , and aren't really that clean, even 1st thing in the morning. There is air conditioning in the main hall where the food is but the shoulder to shoulder crowding and all the hot food stands, the ac cannot keep up. Definitely nicer to come during cooler fall/winter weather. We were dying in the summer visiting. read more

Picky kid-- had food court at the mall level Chinese food (of all things to eat in Boston ) and then went back to try a Lobster roll. So options for everyone-even the pickiest children. Some of the stalls offer samples. So you sort of have an idea of what you are buying. There are tables in the market to stand at or sit if you are lucky enough to get a stool. We did but gave them up for families with small kids. People are very nice. A random kid complimented my child's backpack. He had the same back pack! Very busy. I loved Quincy Market! Only downside is grabbing seating when dining but there is usually a quick turnaround. Very pricy on everything around. This is Bostons version of time square, an extroverts and foodies dream to be here. Anything you can think of, want, didn't know you needed, you're going to find it here. I didn't realize that this was essentially a food court, but there were definitely some good eats to be found. We had Wicked Lobsta's lobster roll, chowder, and baked clam. The Lobster roll and chowder were Very good and worth the hype. The slices of pizza from Regina Pizzeria were just OK.
