My experience getting a facial here was A+! I did the acne facial at Quinn's, which came out to $115 plus tip. Booking was easy, I reserved the day before. It's located in Downtown Sunnyvale on Main Street - look for Alma Dessert and turn the corner. The space is small and no-frills, but it gets the job done. The facial itself was great! She does amazing facial and shoulder massages that are super relaxing and make the whole experience really soothing. I mainly came for extractions since I had a few big breakouts on my chin, and she was able to handle those. They should be healed by the end of the week. This is my 2nd time getting the "Quinn's facial" and she delivers! The parking is limited in their area, subletting with other establishments. There's a good thing that they have an EV go charging port nearby. It has also a parking garage nearby too but you have to limited your time to 2 hours or you will have to pay for a fee. Quinn is such a sweetheart and extremely thorough with her work. I came in for the Queen's Youth Facial, and it was the most blissful my face and neck have ever felt. Quinn focused on various acupressure points throughout the treatment. It felt like a very long facial massage, which is exactly what I was looking for. She also used a Fourpolar Radiofrequency machine which is supposed to tighten the skin (she said the effects could last up to 2-4 weeks). Just a word of warning that it does sting a tiny bit initially, but nothing unbearable nor uncomfortable. At the end, she chatted me through the procedure and products she used. She has designed her own little secret garden of a studio in the back of a small salon. She has her clay powders and essential oils skillfully designed into a shelving using with a built in drying rack for her mask brushes. The balance and minimalist beauty of this unit exemplifies the care she has put into perfecting her craft. Each upward stroke and acupressure point has been timed and positioned for optimal force and relaxation. The queen's youth facial was so relaxing and enjoyable. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to flaring up red after most facials but Quinn's custom blended botanical mask sealed was soothing and left my skin feeling like silken tofu. She gave me a breakdown of my skin's challenges and what I should to avoid sebum buildup. The extractions were a little painful as she uses her gloves hands seemingly without extractors, but she showed me what she removed and it was clear that she had carefully pressed them out as there was no bleeding. So the technique was effective and once I relaxed it was fine. I had minimal redness today where as I usually have lots of red streaks on my skin for a few days afterwards. Her massage in facial was bit too much, my eyes are hurting from that massage even next day. I kept telling her to reduce the pressure for massage but she never did. She should work on cleaning part more, she needs to find a better way to remove blackheads. I have had facials before and removing blackheads had never hurt this bad. I could not let her continue. She doesn't work on opening up the pores and start removing blackheads. She uses lot of tools and she should communicate to her client and let them know what she is using and what is it for. read more
