I found Shirley on Groupon and my first visit was at her old location in Mountain View where she rented a small room inside a hair salon a few doors down from Ranch 99. Her place in Mountain View was clean and closer from my work but her new Sunnyvale location is certainly worth the extra miles to travel to get a good facial. The new location in Sunnyvale is a BRAND new constructions with many other suites/studios of different health/beauty services. So make sure you know her suite/studio # as she's tucked in towards the back if you enter from the main entrance door (it says Sola Salon, in the back of Bank of America). The new studio is very clean and tastefully decorated, it gives you that pleasant welcoming feel and you can easily relaxed for your treatment. Now, the facial itself.... I've had Shirley's service twice now and I always left the place feeling rejuvenated and I did not get any weird reaction from the products that she uses. Shirley is an independent business owner, a small business, and she takes good care of her customers. She's friendly and she works hard working on my face for the whole 70 minutes of the facial service. The shoulder massage and the hand massage are always very relaxing and she would tweez some of your eyebrows to tidy it up if you're ok with it (she would ask you before she tweez, so your call whether you want it). I also like that Shirley is not pushy trying to sell her products or her service like some other places and making appointments are easy!! you can make appointment online or by phone calls! I really recommend Shirley for your facial needs... yes, this is not Burke Williams but you pay a small fraction of the cost AND you get reasonably good treatments! plus the place is very clean which is a huge deciding factor to get beauty services! read more

I went in the other day for a bunch of things including an anti aging facial. Shirley pays close attention to your skin issues and tells you clearly what you need without trying to upsell things. Her prices are very affordable that will allow you get a facial regularly rather than once in a while. The treatment that I received is comparable to what I would receive from high end spas.
