I initially agreed to choose THI for my project due to the good reviews online and recommendation from my designer who thought it would be easier to have THI be my contractor since I was already ordering cabinets and tiles from them. My initial consultation with the owner, Aaron Glenn, was great. He seemed to understand the entire scope of the project but ultimately fell short at time of contract signing. There were significant discrepancies, and I felt like I was gaslit on multiple occasions. This company subcontracts almost all of its work which resulted in major inconsistent quality and communication issues. Major delays occurred due to incorrect supply orders and measurements, and the company (Aaron) showed absolutely no willingness to offer apologies, sympathies or compensation for these setbacks. The most concerning aspect was his unprofessional and unethical behavior regarding a final punch list of incomplete tasks and a remaining balance of $2000 of a total $138,000 project. He demanded payment onsite without providing an updated invoice and even threatened to dismantle my kitchen if immediate payment was not made via credit card. He was assured multiple times that payment would be sent after final work was assessed by my designer, just as I have been doing for the $135,000 of work previously completed but he refused to leave my home. I ultimately filed a police report and am still contemplating legal action as he has threatened to put liens on my property. Based on these experiences, I would NOT recommend Total Home Improvement, LLC. If you decide to still pursue this company, make sure you get everything from the owner in writing during your initial consultation. It is critical you have him sign a delay of work contract (clause dealing with delay in performance) and a waiver of lien so he cannot threaten you as he has done with me. If he refuses, that is a red flag, and you should reconsider this company. Good luck on your renovation project and God speed!

This review is about a total makeover of my very small upstairs bathroom. Since I told Huck at the outset that I wanted to save money where ever I could, he made recommendations and gave me options where ever he could. He sent numerous emails about products and materials which helped me finalize my plans. save money=sm. I agreed to remove the paneling=sm. He recommended wainscoting from floor half way up and new drywall the rest. Topnotch Results! I removed 90% of the tile=sm. He recommended waterproof laminate flooring. Very Happy! I installed new vanity, new faucet, 2 new lever door handles, and brushed polished all door hinges=sm. My next door neighbor had some drywall repair done and recommended Huck. Drywall is his specialty. He can show you many examples of his specialty as well as his painting and installation skills(new toilet and new medicine cabinet). You will be well pleased with his experience and attention to detail.

I wasn't looking for a large HVAC company as I know those places tend to charge more and I also wanted to give a small business in the area the opportunity. I called in the middle of the afternoon and explained my situation, and within 1 hour Ken was at my house. His daughter was the call taker and she was very polite and professional and passed along to Ken that she felt my situation was urgent, which I appreciated. Ken assessed my situation and determined my furnace (20+ years old and on borrowed time) needed to be replaced and was dangerous to continue to use. He was nothing but nice and professional the entire time but stressed the issue of replacing sooner than later. He recommended I not use the furnace. After being at my home for approximately 1 hour, he was very kind and didn't charge me for the service call but instead deemed the visit a "quote". Now that is something you would never get from a "Big Box" company. The next day he emailed me a quote for a new HVAC system as my A/C was on borrowed time as well. He said he could even do the install with in 5 days (WOW). His quote was very fair and reasonable, however I didn't use his company but this was no fault of his. I would HIGHLY recommend him as others have as well.

She claimed she used our money to pay for his medical bills, and was requesting more money from us. We had kitchen cabinets put in through one of her contractors, and now we are stuck with incorrect measurements due to their mistakes. Now her cabinet guy is now coming after us for money she still owes him. We've had to hire a plumber to fix yet again one of their mistakes, due to her worker puncturing a hole in our pipe. We are left with 40% of our project unfinished along with major corrections we now need to fix along the way. We have not been able to get ahold of her, she not answering texts, emails.
