While the LIBBE can be helpful as a short term solution for constipation, my experience with Nanja and the closed system was far more comprehensive and therapeutic. Although Nanja is present throughout the session, the experience is still private, respectful, and comfortable. You are fully covered at all times and safely monitored throughout the treatment. Her presence allows her to observe what is happening in real time and respond to the body's needs, which is not something that is done with the LIBBE systems offered in Bakersfield where clients are left alone during the session. Nanja uses gentle abdominal massage to help aid the removal of accumulated waste and with permission also incorporates pressure points and guided breathwork. This hands on approach made a noticeable difference not only in comfort but in results. It also allowed her to tailor the number of sessions needed based on what my body was actually doing rather than a one size fits all approach. Nanja is the only practitioner in the surrounding area that I am aware of who offers this level of attentive closed system colon hydrotherapy. After completing a series of three colonics I experienced a much deeper cleanse that addressed the full length of the colon. I lost approximately ten pounds of accumulated waste and felt significantly lighter and better than I have in years. Beyond the physical release the benefits extended to my overall health. After years of GI issues my digestion feels more balanced and functional and my skin looks healthier and clearer. On a vanity note I also love how small and comfortable my waist feels. Her quality of care for my wife was 10/10!! Once they took her back for the surgery I received a phone call from Dr. Vande Ven approximately 55 minutes later and she said everything went great. 30 minutes later I received another phone call from Tia who took me back to see my wife. Tia assisted me in placing her in a wheelchair and gave me home care instructions prior to leaving. Today's experience was great and all staff were great. She needs about 10 minutes to prepare before we can start the massage. I'm not in a rush, so no problem. My 90 minute massage was cut down to probably about 75 minutes. When I confronted her about it, she did takeoff $10. But many people would not say anything at all. I found this to be unethical. The whole thing was rather disappointing.

During my first appointment, I received half a syringe of filler. About two weeks later, I noticed my smile had become noticeably crooked, so I scheduled a follow-up to have it adjusted. After that visit, my smile actually looked even more uneven. I returned again and saw a different injector. Before evaluating the results, she suggested my smile was naturally crooked. I had before-and-after photos showing that my smile had been symmetrical prior to the injections, and once I shared them, she agreed to inject the remaining half syringe in an attempt to correct the issue. I appreciate that the manager tried to make things right during my follow-up visits. Unfortunately, despite those efforts, I still wasn't happy with the final outcome and ultimately went to another med spa to have my lips corrected. Because of that experience, I don't see myself returning for injectable treatments. The one thing I do highly recommend is their Arnica Tinted Lip Gloss. It's an excellent product that helped keep my lips moisturized throughout the healing process, and it's something I'd purchase again.
