Qwench never seems to disappoint. Came here for a refreshing smoothie. It always smells nice and crisp in there. Service is always great. I couldn't decide on which smoothie to get and the girl helped me decide. I went with her favorite which is the great fruit. It had grapefruit in it. Wasn't overpowering of any bitterness. It was on point refreshing. My bf and son got qwench favorite which is the old school which was like a strawberry banana situation and then pb&h which had peanut butter in it. I don't use social media all the time to find information about the business. I want to make that clear. I went by there today and was picking up food near Qwench Juice Bar and my girlfriend wanted to get a smoothie while waiting for our order to be picked up. We walked up to the door and couldn't tell if the place was open or closed. The time was 7:03pm. There are no business hours posted on window or door. Just a LED sign that lights up OPEN, but that was off. A worker came out to grab a sign to put back inside the business. I asked him what are the business hours and he gave me a look of I should have known the hours of open and close. He did tell me the hours nicely but failed to offer any service, for example, maybe say "we just closed but if you want to get something, we can do that before we clean up." I know customer service has gone away from going the extra mile for customers. I did say to the worker maybe you should post the hours on the window or door so potential customers that are looking for something to snack on can know when you are closed. I've been seeing quite a few businesses with no business hours posted on the doors or windows. Not everyone uses the internet and social media to find information. I decided to try my first raw juice today. I ordered the turmeric juice and my daughter got a mango blend. She really liked hers. My choice is made of raw carrots, apple, turmeric and ginger and all I could taste was the ginger. Ginger is a antioxidant and anti inflammatory super food. The dude and I came to QWENCH on 7/26/20. I have been eyeing this juice bar for a couple and finally had the opportunity to try it out. When we entered it was beautiful inside filled with bright colors and my favorite color which is yellow! They had some pretty good music playing too. Nothing but good vibes! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I honestly didn't know what to expect here but the food and drink items look so delicious!!! I was craving a healthy smoothie not loaded with unnecessary items and semi low in calories which was the AM fix so DELICIOUS like very yummy!!! The texture was perfect like thick but drinkable and I love the added crunch it had. It was sweetened perfectly. Only 510 calories and left me full all day! Very filling too! The dude ended up getting the Pesto Chicken Bowl half brown rice and half spring mix. It was so tasty and flavorful! He also got the Summer Watermelon smoothie special which is SO yummy like you can tell they used real watermelon and no artificial sweeteners as it taste so natural! Overall, we had a great experience here and the location I feel is hidden which before the pandemic I didn't know they were located there but glad they are still open as I found my new healthy drink and food spot! On a warm-ish run this morning, my friend and I got to talking about acai bowls and smoothies and she mentioned that Qwench does an "acai bucket" given the huge portion size. Of course I had to try it out, and I didn't know that Qwench had a location here! Very exciting, it was a go-to spot for me back in LA. What I like about Qwench is they have a few simple acai bowl options done well. I went with the PB bowl because I was craving peanut butter flavors. It also comes with hemp hearts, strawberries, and bananas. It came out to about $13 with tax and I was able to conveniently order online for pickup. When I came into the shop, I was greeted by the workers inside, so friendly! The shop is clean and tidy and they were quick to hand over my order. And...my friend wasn't lying about the acai bucket! For $13 this is a huge acai bowl that I briefly pondered if I could finish. Every single bite was delicious and the toppings are so, so generous! The acai base was nicely blended, no grittiness. I've been coming to Qwench for a while now, so I can that I'm continually impressed by the outstanding quality of their smoothies. I personally recommend the Green Giant (no agave b/c it has pineapple in there which adds the sweetness) and the Clockwork (again no agave b/c fruit is sweet enough). Ordered the original acai bowl. Portion size was big, and fruits were fresh. But the acai base wasn't my type, it was blended with lots of ice. The ice chunks were fairly noticeable and it seemed like I was chewing on ice flavored acai. Others may enjoy that, but I doubt I'll be back. read more

I went to get Jersey Mike's for lunch the other day and I stumbled and found Qwench Juice bar. Normally I go to Jamba Juice or star bucks to "Qwench" my thirsts. So I decided to order a OJ bend smoothie and for almost $10 including tips it didn't really "Qwench" my thirsts. Even though it has this refreshing taste and it was kinda thick because of the Greek yogurt they used. To be honest with you I'm not sure how this new place will hold up because literally Jamba Juice and Starbucks is just down the street and for almost being the same price. For myself I'd rather go to Starbucks or Jamba Juice because Jamba Juice has my favorite smoothie the Caribbean passion in a Large size and Starbucks has this Trenta (XL) Refresher drinks. First time at this place.. I'm not sure... feeling kind of lukewarm. The girl answering the phone was super nice and helpful describing to me what they had when I asked, even when the phone was breaking up she didn't hang up. Two thumbs up to her. I got an avocado/quinoa salad and a kale smoothie. I don't know if it's the shape of the bowl or what, but they do appear kind of small. But mostly I guess what I wasn't so sure about was the greens looked on the wilted end.. I don't know if they were sitting together in a dressing for too long or what. Mixed greens are not your toughest greens. The dressing was maybe too light overall.. and the salad seemed to have pre-mixed because the beets had already turned the cucumbers and celery purple and there was no dressing on the side. There's a reason most places put dressing on the side unless the salads are made fresh and tossed in front of you (like Mixt in SF). It's not really clear what Qwench is going for but I'm not sure this is working well. Was hoping the salad would be extra fresh. The cherry tomatoes didn't have that fresh crunch I was hoping for. It is a new item so maybe with some tweaking it'll get better. The kale smoothie was fine quality wise, but the flavors weren't exactly my favorite. :/ The honey (or was it the almond milk?) was kind of strong and I felt like it didn't pair well with the rest of the smoothie. Usually smoothies are more on the juice/fruity side or the milky/creamy side and this one was sort of doing both. Disclaimer: 4 months pregnant, tastebuds are prob extra sensitive right now. I like the concept but the execution was sort of meh today. Maybe their other items are better.. //edit// Wow a thorough response. So I gave my leftovers to my husband and he liked the smoothie but said the salad tasted healthy but was kind of bland. So I will bump up to 4 for the smoothie.. Decided to try this place out after going to the gym across the street. I had seen a few ads for it on Instagram and figured today would be a good time to try it. The restaurant was super clean and the staff and set up of the place made it very inviting. I am a vegan so I let the cashier know and she had no problem helping me choose an açaí bowl to order that accommodated my diet. The size of my bowl was huge and the flavor was super good! Overpriced, charges 3 dollars for the cup they put the smoothie in, and NOT worth it. I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish by charging separately for the cups they put your drink in other than hike up their price. Huge fail, STAY AWAY. Came across this place and wanted to give it a try as we love açaí bowls! The açaí bowls are massive, I wish they had a regular and a large option as some people cannot finish this bowl. We've gone a few times now, it sucks there is only one location as we live way across town however we do stop when in the area! My bf gets the P Bowl, and adds extra peanut butter he swears by it! I personally like the tartiness so I get the original and sub the coconut water with almond milk! I did try the lemon açaí smoothie however I was not a fan! Does seem a bit pricey but that is because how large the bowls are, hopeful someday they will have different size options available.
