Nice little liquor store just off 159th Street. While you have to look for this place to find it -…read moresince it doesn't face 159th Street - if you are patient and make your way here it can satisfy your needs. It is a pretty typical liquor store - has a nice selection of beer, craft beer, wines, and all the usual hard liquors. Every once in awhile they have a sale on some item, so if you pay attention you might hit a nice price point. Overall fair prices. The only thing keeping this store back is that it really cannot compete with a Binny's for selection and prices. The big-box stores still rule, and these smaller mom-and-pop outlets have to work extra hard. Nice people here, loads of parking, and some attention to pandemic measures. If you are out this way and not looking for something too obscure, you may want to give it a try.

Shitty place, shitty mamagement. Lady at the front desk was polite. Had to use the restroom, no…read moresigns anywhere. There was an open door with a restroom. I used the restroom, came out and was shopping for alcohol. Guy from the back room came out and started hollering at me "ask the front counter next time dont just use the fucking bathroom what if something came up missing" I apologized. he kept going. Said "you wouldn't fucking do that at Bennys, don't do it here." Extremely confrontational for no reason. Good job on not having a returning customer.

Not a very good experience today. Just went there to purchase a 12 pack of Smithwicks. I had called…read moreahead to make sure they had it in stock and to ask the price which was $13.99. This price was also clearly marked on the case at the store. So I get to the front to check out and hand over my money and I see the register says $14.99. I told the guy it's marked $13.99. He just says well that's what it is in the computer. I say again you have it marked in the back there for $13.99 and I'd gladly pay the price you have it advertised for. No there is nothing I can do. From his mannerisms it almost seemed like he wasn't even going to give me a refund. I said well I'm not going to pay that price and he gave me my money back. Really unbelievable. I've been here several times before with no problems. The employee could really care less. There was no one else there to talk to so I just left. This place must have changed. Won't be going back there again.

Fine selection of spirits...great selection of beer...BUT...every time I've bought a relatively…read moreobscure beer from here, it's skunky(going bad). Beer should last for a long time, 6 months for pale ales, much longer for darker stuff, in the right conditions(no temp fluctuations, minimal light, etc.). I know they aren't selling cases and cases of one-off craft brews, so I understand the fact it sits around for awhile, but after buying multiple 6 packs past their expiration date(I know, partly my fault) I was through stopping here after the the train for craft beer. In a pinch one day I stopped in and grabbed a 12 pack of Sierra Nevada...not exactly "obscure craft beer." The packaged date was 4 months prior...a little old for a big seller, but I figured if it was in the cooler the entire time, it should be fine. Nope...early stages of skunkiness. I feel like they must keep their overstock next to the water heater or furnace in the back room. I am done stopping here for anything other than Miller Lite or PBR.
